Wish we could just first take care of our own business here in this country. What does all this pap Hilzilla is involved in have to do with being Secretary of State? It's funny that when males were SOS, we didn't have girl meetings! She just wants to keep out of Dodge.

There are urgent problems in Syria, Tunisia, Mali and the botched response to Benghazi. I don't know if it's better to have her off in Peru or not. I think Peru and pray Obama's gone January 20, 2013.

I'm so glad this article was posted! I've been lying awake fearing that lesser issues would keep Hillary from attending.

You, too?

Doubtless "women's financial inclusion" in Iran would solve the mullah nukes problem.

I heard someone on a talk show suggest that Hillary decided to "take the blame" [like there really will be any] when a large package arrived [return address 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue]. In it was a black judge's robe.

That thought oughta keep you awake nights.

Dancing was something that always made Adrianne Haslet-Davis feel alive. “Like I’m floating,” she said yesterday. “When I’m dancing, I don’t feel the need to be doing anything else. My joy is complete.” On Tuesday evening, this 32-year-old woman who teaches people how to glide across a ballroom floor, awoke from heavy sedation to look at her mother, Chauni. “My foot feels numb, like it’s asleep,” Adrianne said, through a fog of pain medication. “My foot feels like it’s falling off the bed.” (Snip) “Adrianne,” her mother whispered, “dear, your left foot … it’s gone.”

Hopefully, the volume on the TV in Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s hospital room was turned way up yesterday afternoon. Hopefully, the doctors and nurses who are tending to the Boston Marathon bombing suspect, the heavily armed security detail that is guarding him and the investigators who are waiting to grill him were all able to hear what David Ortiz had to say before the game. Hopefully, somewhere in the mind of Tsarnaev, the curse uttered by Ortiz to describe the resilience of Boston in the wake of the attack last Monday struck some nerve. That last hope is likely a wasted one. Its sentiment, though,

If you can’t legislate, then regulate. President Barack Obama’s second-term agenda may end up depending as much on regulation and subsidization as it does on legislation. Faced with a Republican-controlled House that rejects most of his legislative goals, and facing potential opposition from Senate Republicans and a half-dozen Democratic senators on issues such as gun control, Obama’s ability to carry out policy changes hinges on his Cabinet and his appointees running regulatory bodies. Three Senate confirmation hearings this week put the focus on the regulatory agenda:

A Brooklyn federal judge has ordered the Food and Drug Administration to make the morning-after pill available to females of all ages without a prescription. Judge Edward Korman on Friday reversed the FDA´s 2011 decision limiting the over-the-counter availability of the emergency contraceptive known as Plan B to women 17 and older. He gave the agency 30 days to decide only whether the pills’ package should include additional labeling. The standards for determining whether a consumer can understand how to use an over-the-counter drug safely and effectively is the same for aspirin as it is for contraceptives, Korman noted.

In Obama´s Audacity of Hope, he stated, "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in any ugly direction." He also asserted in Bob Woodward´s Obama´s Wars, "We can absorb [another] terrorist attack." These are two straightforward statements that raise the question of whether a man who has been seemingly obsessed with reaching out to "the Muslim world" since taking office is capable of fulfilling his duty as commander-in-chief to keep America safe and secure.

In debate classes or law school, it is often referred to as the ‘arguing against the non-existing opponent’ tactic. The way it works is you imply your opponent is making an outlandish, unsavory claim (though he isn’t), hoping others will run with it or, at worst, that your opponent won’t sufficiently correct it and the claim sticks. To illustrate, imagine Sally is arguing in favor of marijuana’s legalization against Tom. In the middle of the debate, Tom suddenly shrieks: “Well, Sally, you can talk about legalizing marijuana all you want but I just don’t believe

THE graying man flashing fury in the Rose Garden on behalf of the Newtown families, the grieving man wiping away tears after speaking at the Boston memorial service, is not the same man who glided into office four years ago. President Obama has watched the blood-dimmed tide drowning the ceremony of innocence, as Yeats wrote, and he has learned how to emotionally connect with Americans in searing moments, as he did from the White House late Friday night after the second bombing suspect was apprehended in Boston.

George W. Bush will return to the spotlight this week for the dedication of his presidential library, an event likely to trigger fresh public debate about his eight fateful years in office. But he reemerges with a better public image than when he left Washington more than four years ago. Since then, Bush has absented himself from both policy disputes and political battles. A new Washington Post-ABC News poll suggests that the passage of time and Bush’s relative invisibility have been beneficial to a chief executive who left office surrounded by controversy.

President Obama´s sequester scare strategy has been a political flop, but his government keeps trying. The latest gambit is to force airline flight delays until enough travellers stuck on tarmacs browbeat enough Republicans to raise taxes again. This week the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) began furloughing each of its air-traffic controllers for one day out of every 10 to achieve roughly $600 million in savings this fiscal year. The White House dubiously claims that the furloughs are required by the sequester spending cuts enacted in 2011.

The most glaring fact about our president is that he is an empty suit. The people around him are also empty suits. Those whom we have come to call "leftists" are in fact nothing but nihilists, and we flatter them when we presume that they value anything beyond their vanities, their avarice, and their selfishness. When tragedy strikes, like in the Boston bombing, these empty suits can look and
