| "Did they come in and inherit a tough situation? Absolutely." This from Paul Ryan, in the worst moment of the VP debate. Barack Obama is going to lose in a blow-out, and the debates have certainly padded that margin. Having said that, both Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan left "some easy money on the table" through the first two debates that they now need to collect. The Romney/Ryan mandate will be even bigger, and effective governing afterwards will be more viable, if they but correct the media narrative of what Obama "inherited."

He inherited his own reputation, plus leftist majorities which sent business packing. When they see the far left are out of their hair, katy bar the door on new hiring.

Finally, somebody says what I've been saying since 2008 when obama was running about talking about how bad things were and what he inherited. He was a senator and thus part of the problem. Along with the press and all the nuts who voted for him, obama acted like he had just risen from the ashes to take on the problems of America, when the problems come directly from liberal, socialist policies and regressive and overbearing, back breaking regulations. Finally, it's being said!

My response to Democrats who blame Bush for the woes of the economy: unemployment was 6.7% in 2006. Then Pelosi and Reid took control of Congress.
It's a cheesy argument, but it causes them pause.

Shortly after the 2009 Fort Hood terror attack was carried out by Nidal Hasan, Martha Raddatz and Diane Sawyer of ABC News openly lamented that the killer´s name was not something like Smith. They pretended to overhear this sentiment from some military wife at the fort, but I suspect otherwise -- that they were pulling the liberal trifecta of lying, projecting, and conflating victims with experts -- all simultaneously.

The story of the 2012 election is that voters still blame Republicans for systemic problems caused by liberalism, and yet they credit Obama for victories brought about by applied conservatism. Now how does this happen? The answer is both a short story and part of a longer festering narrative. Consider: during the Republican primary season, half of Mitt Romney's consultants told him to call Newt Gingrich the devil. The other half told him to merely to claim that the devil worshiped Gingrich. Then these same sorcerers all told Mitt to call Barack Obama "a nice guy."

If anyone still doubts the Gallup Poll -- and common sense -- showing that Mitt Romney is way ahead in the polls, all they had to do was watch the third presidential debate to have their minds changed. Romney put the game into the "four corners" stall, running out the clock while turning away numerous chances for easy slam-dunks and taking care not to stop the clock

Watertown, Mass.– A number of gun shots were fired near Franklin Street in Watertown Friday night and it was believed that suspect number 2 in the Boston Marathon bombings had been shot. FOX 25's Bob Ward reported that as many 30 shots were fired in the neighborhood. Ward reported that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the man known as suspect 2, was shot by police. It was not immediately known if Tsarnaev was killed. A bomb squad could be seen responding to the scene. A massive police presence was also in the area. So once again, no good deed goes unpunished. Uncle Sam lets another bunch of leeching future terrorists into the country who have absolutely no business being here, gives them “asylum,” making them immediately eligible for welfare, and this is the thanks we get? They turn into mass murderers. We bring in thousands of Muslims from a primitive society that has been battling Christians for centuries, and put them into a peaceful Christian society — what could possible go wrong? We are still speculating about virtually everything right now, but I feel as though I need to explain why I find the quick and easy conversation about Muslims being radicalized in America to be so illogical and laced with bigotry. Of course, there is a global violent jihadist movement, loosely organized, that wants to recruit young men to influence policies at home and abroad and perhaps usher in the global caliphate. The Council on American Islamic Relations again offered sympathy to victims of the Boston Marathon bombing on Friday, but added a plea for Americans not to generalize and conclude that Muslim teachings influenced the suspect in any way. "Our focus is primarily on the victims," said Ahmed Rehab, executive director of the Chicago chapter at a press conference Friday afternoon. "We don´t want to be drawn into defending ourselves."
