Clinton: 'I take responsibility' for Benghazi
CNN, by From Elise Labott

Original Article

Posted By:janylou, 10/15/2012 7:57:30 PM

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the bucks stops with her when it comes to who is blame for a deadly assault on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi. "I take responsibility" for what happened on September 11, Clinton said in an interview with CNN's Elise Labott soon after arriving in Lima, Peru for a visit. The interview, one of a series given to U.S. television networks Monday night, were the first she has given about the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.

The only reason Clinton would ever say that she was responsible would be if she were NOT responsible. Clinton is taking one for the team; it's clear. Whether she was pushed to say it prior to the next debate, or she volunteered to take the hit to show she's the bigger "man" -- I do not know.

If Hillary takes responsibility then who is the president? And if 0bama accepts her as being responsible why isn't he asking for her resignation? Some dirty deal has been made here or the clintons expect 0bama to fully crash this week as something else is going to come out on this, like information on the status of Benghazi was sent all the way up to the White House.

There is ONE person in the Obama administration who will NEVER take responsibility for anything of a negative nature.

We know who that person is, don't we?

So the hag now throws herself on a sword to keep Boy Blunder safe to lie another day? Hard to believe that PIAPS would be willing to take a dive for this kind of stench commonly known as POTUS. She's selfish, has been a terrible Secretary of State and proven herself to not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but the man to whom she reports is an American traitor. If she were the woman she'd have us believe, she'd begin by telling the truth and blowing this scum out of the water so there's no chance whatsoever of his re-election.

This stink as high the Andes in Peru. Piaps must've gotten some go-o-o-o-o-d perks for falling on this sword. I agree with poster #1--it's time to resign for this disgrace; you and the horse you came in on.

A non-statement really. Take one for the boss. Eat dirt. O and the WH must really have both Clintons by their gonads.

I agree with #5. If Hillary was responsible she would never admit anything.

w/o details what does "responsibility" mean anyway? She certainly wasn't planning the details of security there. Or deciding when and where Stevens would be that day.

So she must be responsible for some events afterward. Mix-ups, cover-ups, complete lies, or what?

The LSM will try to bury the mess anyway.

1. Of course she "accepts responsibility" for the lack of security. It''s her responsibility to ensure embassy & consulate security. But this acceptance means nothing unless she resigns or is fired. Just Clinton speak for "It depends on how much I am responsible for being responsible."

2. She is simultaneously supporting Obama's Benghazi lie - In the wake of an attack, there is always "confusion," Clinton said. But the information has since changed, Clinton said in the interview.

The details about the attacked never changed. What changed was Obama's lie about Benghazi. Hillary is continuing the lie, but from a distant location where she will now be out of reach.

If Romney wins, HC is pretty much toast. If O wins now, in 2016 HC can run saying that she took one for the team or saved O and the Oval office for the Dems, plus most people would have forgotten by then. If Romney wins he should be in for eight and then she would have to deal with (probably) Ryan, don't think she would even be a consideration then..plus if O wins, in 2016 there may not be elections.

Liberals always think "I take responsibility" will make their trespasses go away. It only works if you accept the CONSEQUENCES after accepting the responsibility. She sounds like a teenager who hopes her parents won't punish her if she just "takes responsibility". Without the proper consequences, taking responsibility isn't worth spit.

You take responsibility now quit. Obviously you have no idea what your doing. Obama should also go with you since he was the one who put you in this position. Also taking responsibility a month after the murder is too long this is just you saying to have everyone be quiet about it. It took you a month when you knew from day one what happened.

This was Hillary being "Presidential". She has some hopes of running in 2016. Since Barry will not man up and take responsibility, she will. If our President had stood up and said something like what she just said between Sept 11 and Sept 15, he could have made that a positive. Because he was unwilling to take the responsibility that was ultimately his, he looks more like a woos every day. Especially now that Hillary has done the responsible thing.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

The 34-year-old information management officer was one of four Americans murdered in the Benghazi embassy attack on September 11, 2012. In the chilling interview, a distraught Ms. Smith, in tears, pleaded for answers and spoke of the efforts to silence her. Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank
