| PBS' documentary last week "presenting the definitive portraits of Barack Obama and Mitt Romney" was so partial to Obama it fortifies Romney's case to end PBS subsidies. The two-hour, "in-depth" documentary — "The Choice 2012" — was purported to get at what makes the presidential candidates tick. But it spent more time focusing on how Romney developed his political ideology, which allegedly centers around money and "privilege." Obama, on the other hand, has no ideology other than an indefatigable concern for "the poor," according to the "Frontline" special, which was heavily promoted by the Obama propaganda network, MSNBC.

Another reason to stop funding PBS was cited by Dennis Miller on O'Reilly last week.
The government (we the people) pay to subsidize a program on PBS; for example, Bill Moyers' show. Moyers then does the show, it's broadcast on PBS, and that's that. Except, Moyers gets to re-package the show, and sell it again, as DVD's etc. But he doesn't share that profit with we the people. He gets to pocket it all.

This is also part of the reason that PBS needs to be defunded. They should not be making any political comments during an election. All taxpayers pay for this.

WASHINGTON — Attorney General Eric Holder, the nation´s chief law enforcement officer, returned to the courthouse where he once served as a judge, this time in the role of prospective juror performing his civic duty. The Justice Department said Holder wasn´t chosen and that he won´t be called back. Had he been selected for the jury Tuesday, the attorney general would have been on a panel hearing an armed robbery case. Holder sat in the last row of Judge Stuart Nash´s courtroom along with other prospective jurors as the judge gave details of the case.

MSNBC´s programming became almost entirely full of commentary and opinion in 2012, while "factual reporting" saw almost no airtime, according to a new report from the Pew Research Center. The report, which is part of Pew´s annual comprehensive State of the News Media, found that opinion and commentary fill 85 percent of the airtime on MSNBC. Former Gov. Jim McGreevey’s life is about to get the HBO treatment. The premium network later this month will air a documentary called "Fall to Grace" on McGreevey’s resignation as governor and his “redemption and transformation” while studying to become an Episcopal priest and working to help female inmates, according to a press release from HBO. The U.S. has been denied direct access to the only publicly known suspect in custody in connection with the Benghazi terror attack, Fox News has learned, with U.S. interrogators still unable to sit in the same room as the Egypt-held prisoner to ask questions. Abu Ahmed, also known as Mohammed Jamal, is suspected of establishing Islamist training camps in Eastern Libya where militants who took part in the Sept. 11 Benghazi terrorist attack were able to train. Ahmed is not suspected of directly taking part in the attack which left four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, dead.

An Ohio woman filed a $25,000 lawsuit against her employer, alleging she was fired for voting for President Obama. Patricia Kunkle of Kettering, Ohio, claimed that Dayton-based Q-Mark, Inc., threatened to fire employees of the defense contractor if Obama won re-election, with the president’s supporters to be the first to receive pink slips, the Dayton Daily News reported. Kunkle said she had a conversation the day after Election Day that indicated she voted for Obama. She was fired three days later.

A meeting between the new U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and his Russian counterpart will take place next week in German capital Berlin. Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov have agreed to meet in Berlin on February 26, US State Department Spokesperson Victoria Nuland said in a statement on Thursday. "Secretary Kerry and Foreign Minister Lavrov will discuss a wide range of bilateral and international issues," she added. The statement did not specify the agenda of talks. It will be Kerry´s first meeting with Lavrov in his new capacity as US Secretary of State.
