First of all, there is no such thing as a moderate demorat. Second, wonder what the Taxpayers have to say about that.

President Romney will make all of us a little bit better, just by his actions.

This is all quite natural when you start with the truthful premise that Democrats are parasites and people who are self-made, successful and compassionate are not. (Neither are such people Democrats anymore.)

Yes, as OP noted, article says the R/R Campaign contacted city officials BEFORE the rally, requesting an invoice for expenses expected !!! If I remember, Hillary Clinton's campaign left a trail of unpaid bills when she ran. Character counts.

Lovely story. Romney also chose to stay at the budget-priced Fairfield Inn (to be honest, part of the Marriott chain, started by a family friend) instead of a more expensive upscale hotel.

He knows the value of a dollar, and of a friendship.

Several shop owners in La Jolla, where the Romneys have a beach house, tell me that when the Romneys shop in their stores, they are courteous, friendly, and down-to-earth. They look at price tags and shop carefully too, which leaves a great impression. A lot of rich people in La Jolla throw money around wildly and ostentatiously; not Mitt and Ann.

So here we have it. Demonrat rat politicans are not satisfied with wringing every single dollar from you in taxes, but they stiff you with their campaign costs too.
