Here's my take. She was probably on the phone nearly full time on a dedicated line to the White House delivering verbatim what she was hearing in real time regarding what was happening.

What is the reason that, for several weeks after the murder of your employees, the US Ambassador to Libya and three other American citizens, you have not faced questions on television news shows about your activities or views regarding the murder of four brave Americans in Libya. Where have you been, and what are you doing?
