Obama Will Be More
‘Aggressive’ in Second Debate,
Axelrod Says

ABC News, by Mary Bruce

After his lackluster performance at the first presidential debate, President Obama is making some “adjustments” and will be more “aggressive” in his second face-off with Republican nominee Mitt Romney, senior Obama campaign adviser David Axelrod said today. “Nobody’s a harsher critic than the president is of himself and he viewed the [debate] tape,” Axelrod said on “Fox News Sunday.” “I think he’s going to make some adjustments on Tuesday.” Axelrod would not detail any strategic changes that the president might be making, but said he’s “going to be aggressive in making the case for his view of where we should

Why does a guy that's been in charge for years,
need days to cram ,
so he can debate his own policies ?
Why does Obama have to be " aggressive " to defend himself ?
If the election was on who should be CEO of Bain , with Obama challenging,
I can't fathom Mitt Romney requiring days and days
to " cram " so he could explain how he ran Bain.
Nor could I imagine Romney faltering , like Obama did, trying
to explain what he's been doing for years as company CEO.
Obama has two moods.
Lazy and possibly doped up , which the media
euphemistically describes as cool.
And desperately nasty, where his voice rises to screech levels , as in
" You didn't build that ".
Both are offensive.
Bring it.

So is he going to wail for his daddy instead of mommy this time? The thing is people are going to be focused like a laser on bitty o and he's going to have to bring it the whole debate. If he slips up once, it will completely alter any momentum he might have had up to that point. He'll feel it too and he won't be able to recover. He'll either crawl into his shell with head down or overdo the mean boy thing. I'm so excited!

Obama and his minions know that Obama can be "agressive," or impolite as much as he wants. Candy Crowley is going to basically do just what Martha Radditz did with Biden ... take sides.

Heck, Obama could walk across stage, slap Romney in the face, and the media stooges would applaud his "agressiveness."

Bidens' demeanor changed about half way through the debate from obnoxious drunk to mean drunk. Expect O'bie to bounce out all full of p*** and vinegar…then when Romney gets in a good punch, turn into a sulled-up

Mitt Romney is a expert at debating. I have a feeling that "0" is going to play right into his hands in the next debate. The Romney team is expecting him to go negative. The only objective for Romney is to simply counter "0"'s foolish accusations while appearing Presidential and taking the fight back to him. It's going to be a 'Town-Hall' style debate, where negative attacks are not viewed favorably.

Some of Manhattan’s wealthiest neighborhoods are exploding in a wave of violent crime that hearkens back to the bad old days when people feared going out at night, according to NYPD data obtained by The Post. Chelsea, Gramercy Park, TriBeCa, SoHo and Midtown South all posted a frightening rise in rapes in the first three months of 2013 compared with the same period in 2012. Felony assaults in the usually peaceful West Village nearly tripled, the new crime statistics show. MOSCOW – Russia slapped sanctions on a pair of former top Bush administration officials, two former commanders of the Guantanamo detention center, and 14 other Americans in retaliation for a set of human rights sanctions the Obama administration imposed on a number of Russian citizens on Friday. In a statement, Russia’s Foreign Ministry said it was forced to respond to the American “blackmail,” which it warned would harm US-Russia relations. The Kremlin had prepared a list of over 100 American officials in advance of Friday’s announcement, warning its response would be proportionate to the Obama administration’s actions.

With President Obama, there’s always a catch. In the 2014 budget he announced last week, Obama proposed a more accurate way of calculating the inflation rate for annual cost-of-living increases in Social Security. It’s a technical change in pursuit of honesty and good government. And if adopted, it would cause benefits to grow more slowly, though almost imperceptibly so. Republican leaders in Congress ought to be delighted since they had “championed”—Obama’s word—the idea in the first place. Then came the catch. The president’s price for adopting this gentle reform was hundreds of billions in new tax increases.

With the recent arrests of several local politicians for corruption perhaps New Yorkers will pay more attention to those they put in office.
