Cheney is right. Biden acted like an eighth grader during the most serious debate of his life. He is obviously a silly, rude man who really does not care a whit about America. He has gotten what he wants; money and power. He doesn't even mind being the second banana to a zero man. How sad for his family and our country.

Having Biden as next in line for the Presidency shows the Obama is not a dumb as we think he is. No one is stupid enough to shoot Obama knowing Biden would become President.

Thank you VP Cheney for an reasonable and astute evaluation of this arseclown. Hopefully, we can return to the days when we had adults like you in the White House. Watching Joe Biden at the debate reminded me of a person who had one too many beers. He was loud, obnoxious, arrogant and rude. I guess when the President said he was going to let “Joe be Joe”, that is what he meant.

Debates are intended to be vehicles by which issues, ideas and policies can be aired and discussed. That requires the participants be free to express their views without interruptions and distractions and let the people decide which views they agree with and which fit their interests and needs. But that wasn’t possible at the VP debate; Joe wouldn’t allow it.

It became quite evident that Joe's purpose at the debate was not to discuss the issues with Paul Ryan, but silence him. That is a tactic used by anyone who is trying to deny the public the truth or the ability to weigh the facts; they will do everything in their power to silence opposition and when they can’t silence them, they will deny the facts and discredit the evidence. That is what Joe came to do and he did it well.

Joe and the Democrat party are no different, in principle, than Radical Islam. They don't debate, they don't reason and they don't listen; they only try to stop what offends them by whatever means is available to them at the time. With Joe, that was interrupting; laughing at the most inappropriate times, using wild theatrics and by being obnoxious and loud. Truth stands on it’s own validity, it does not need those things to make it right.

When a man like Cheney says "disturbed" he means alarmed. This is serious.

Remember the VP debate between Joe Leiberman and Dick Cheney? It was so amicable and courteous that someone suggested we forget the presidential candidates and vote a Cheney-Leiberman ticket.

Often as men age they lose control of their emotions. In Joe's case he has completely lost impulse control. Perhaps he always had that tendency, but now it is a very serious problem.
Mr. Biden is no longer fit to hold the office of vice president, if he ever was, and owes it to the country to step down today.
Ryan probably should have made that point in is closing argument.

I listened to Clarence Thomas read his book and have had an intense dislike for this fool since. He doubled crossed Justice Thomas when he swore things would go smooth. He is a liar and a vicious old man..

I don't think Joe's emotionally "losing it", I think he's stupid.

His performance had Axelrod's direction all over it.

It's easy to picture Axelrod telling Joe, "Interrupt, laugh, grin at everything Ryan says, don't be afraid to be a little rude even. Just get the kid to lose his temper and the whole thing is in the bag."

Trouble is, Joe has no sense of proportion or boundaries... like some drunk teen-ager.

Biden's behavior during the debate was not a sign that he is emotionally unstable. Rather it was simply a calculated performance designed to denigrate and diminish his opponent. Whether it worked or not is another matter. No one can short Biden for his ability to spout progressive and prodigious lies, but, as many others have noted, his over-the-top acting did not play well on television.

One indelible trait of the political Left, who know from experience that they cannot win arguments on facts and reason (the merits), is the effort to stifle their political opponents by whatever means necessary. Is is therefore surprising that we hear their public spokespeople say in so many words that the right to free speech ends when they finish talking? They don't want to listen to anyone who disagrees with them, and they don't want anyone else to hear, either. Given their druthers, they would criminalize any speech that hinders their pursuit of totalitarian power. Veritably, they have transformed themselves into fascists.

Vice President Cheney is in my opnion the best man in my lifetime to hold that office. I have a world of respect for him. He chooses his words carefully. Biden's boorish performance was that of a mentally unstable person more fit for a rubber room than the nation's second highest office.

That the Democrat base were entertained by Biden's ninety minutes of cackles, mugs, eye-rolls, snorts, wild gesticulations, constant interruptions, and fluent lying tells me that the Party needs a quarter century or so in the political wilderness rediscovering how real human beings are supposed to act. This nation is not Monkey Zoo. At least not yet. Biden is certifiable, but we have known that for a long time. What's more disturbing is that the great Democratic Party has been transformed into a gaggle of suicidally ignorant cranks. Even worse, the worst of them seem to be demonically possessed. It seems that they are incapable of doing anything right, or even of recognizing the difference between good and evil. My old Malaga pal José would say that Biden is tocado, which is Spanish lingo for touched.
