Endeavour draws festival of

Los Angeles- Move over, Oscars. Take a seat, Disney. And forget the televised car chase. The space shuttle Endeavour is conquering a new frontier -- the entertainment capital of the world -- and it's getting royal parade treatment. Like a king carried in a chariot, the Endeavour is lumbering through the streets of Los Angeles on its way to retirement in a local museum. Earthlings are taking their first close-up view of the shuttle's heft and girth as it saunters 12 miles over two days at 2 mph (most humans walk 3 mph), with several rests.

What was done with all the tree huggers when over 300 trees were destroyed to make room to cart this flyer up the highway? Were the huggers carted to the nearest forest?

The RNC needs to make an ad reminding the sheeple out there that the space program and all sorts of other American dreams died under Zippy's watch. And with his blessing.

He’s not “unknown”, and he didn’t just pop up on the horizon. The alleged killer of three at the Overland Park (Kansas) Jewish Community Center and a nearby Jewish retirement home didn’t just “appear out of nowhere”; he’s a man who has been in the public eye before, right here in the Kansas City area and elsewhere, along with his foaming-at-the-mouth anti-Jewish and white supremacist views. The suspect, identified as Frazier Glenn Cross of Aurora, Missouri, is also known as Frazier Glenn Miller or simply Glenn Miller. As Glenn Miller, he ran for the U.S. Senate from Missouri in 2010.

Bill Clinton is cheating — on his vegan diet. Clinton’s doctor let the secret out in New York Times that sometimes the former president cheats on his healthy diet. But two of the nation’s leading vegan and vegetarian organizations say they’re willing to give Clinton a pass since he is mostly adhering to the tenants of the diet. Why does Clinton continue to call himself a vegan? “There is some latitude … he is primarily a vegan,” said Len Torine, Executive Director of the American Vegetarian Association. “Whatever amount of vegan you are, I support it. Russia has asked the United States to use its influence to prevent bloodshed in eastern Ukraine, as Kiev threatened a "large-scale anti-terrorist operation" to remove separatists from government buildings. Russian President Vladimir Putin made the appeal during a phone conversation with US President Barack Obama, in which the Kremlin said the two leaders discussed the escalating unrest. The Kremlin said the Russian president also rejected Western claims that Moscow is behind attacks on government buildings, saying they were "based on unfounded information." Earlier Mr Putin´s spokesman said Russia had received several

While the Supreme Court considers one challenge to a provision of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), a federal appeals court located just blocks away is contemplating a separate challenge that could have much more dire consequences for the future of the law. “What you’re asking for is to destroy the individual mandate, which guts the statute,” Judge Harry T. Edwards of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia said to an attorney representing the challengers during a hearing on March 25. Arab American Institute President and Democrat strategist James Zogby has a warning for the Democrat Party. He feels his party is losing the vote of Americans of European and Mediterranean descent – and they´d better get it back. Zogby is especially worried about losing ground in the important states of Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, and Pennsylvania – all states with a large contingent of voters with "European/Mediterranean" lineage. He thinks that these states could help Democrats with the close margin we have seen for years in American election results but only if Democrats don´t ignore these voters. In his op-ed, Zogby

They’re both qualified, respectful of each other (shocker!), and represent the vast majority of middle America. So what’s not to like about another Clinton/Bush race for 2016? When you mention the prospect of Clinton vs. Bush 2016 a funny thing happens. First, there is the reflexive response: "Oh no, not again. We don´t need more dynastic politics in this country." But upon further reflection, you realize Jeb Bush vs. Hillary Clinton would be a great race and actually good for the country. Let´s review. QUALIFICATIONS—THEY’VE BOTH GOT THEM. A rapid shift to wind and solar power is needed if the world is to avoid catastrophic global warming, the United Nations warns in a crucial report today. Emissions of greenhouse gases need to be cut by up to 70 per cent before 2050 to control climate change, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) says. ‘Large-scale changes in energy systems’ are required, with coal power stations to be switched off and replaced by wind and solar. And the transformation needs to be made in the next 15 years or controlling climate change will become increasingly harder and more expensive. The report was published

Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)

LAS VEGAS — The Nevada Republican Party stripped opposition to abortion and gay marriage from its platform Saturday as state convention delegates instead focused on judging fellow Republicans on their worthiness to serve in office and adherence to GOP values. The platform, with few changes, was adopted overwhelmingly as the Las Vegas convention stretched late into the evening. The vote mirrors that of the Clark County GOP, which voted earlier to remove platform language defining marriage as between a man and a woman and statements opposing abortion. Many Republicans are re-evaluating their strong stances on conservative social issues as public

A brazen flash mob has been caught on camera storming a California store and making off with $20,000 worth of sunglasses. A Russian fighter jet made multiple, close-range passes near an American warship in the Black Sea for more than 90 minutes Saturday amid escalating tensions in the region, a U.S. military official said Monday. In the first public account of the incident, the official said the Russian Fencer flew within 1,000 yards of the USS Donald Cook, a Navy destroyer, at about 500 feet above sea level. Ship commanders considered the actions provocative and inconsistent with international agreements, prompting the ship to issue several radio queries and warnings. It’s hardly been a secret that in recent years the moderate center of the Democrat party has been driven away and what remains is a conglomeration of disparate blocs which, to date, the party has been able to treat as if there were no conflicting interests between them. As the midterm elections approach and the administration’s incompetence, along with the distaste for the president’s signature ObamaCare legislation, drive the party’s chances down further, the make-believe coalition of opposites may well crumble if the opposition doesn’t blow it. Some time back, whenever a big racial controversy erupted, I trained myself into the habit of reading about it at FoxNews.com, just for the unbelievable comment threads. Let’s put it this way: If my friends and I went out to a bar and started playing a “let’s write the racist FoxNews.com comment thread” drinking game, our efforts couldn’t begin to approach what I read there.I wasn’t alone. Liberal websites started feasting on these threads. And so, a couple of years ago, Ailes & Co. got wise. Stories about race were, at least in my disheartened experience, closed to comments.
