| The State Department has released a transcript of a briefing that two high-ranking department officials gave to a number of reporters via conference call on October 9 (Tuesday). I am not certain about this, but I believe the transcript was only made public today. You should read it in its entirety; it is the most detailed description I have seen of the events in Benghazi on September 11. While this is by no means clear, it appears that the State Department may have released the transcript as part of the escalating

This would finish a Republican president. The press would be hounding him day and night and the story would be repeated 24/7.

Classic questions from the WaPo and AP "reporters", hoping against hope to have some shred of a story about a protest leading to the violence, anything to provide cover for their Dear Leader.

If Biden was truly that incensed about not knowing that there was a request for more security - he should've made it known before the debates.
If he's saying the truth, then he saved the info for political purposes.
Which diminishes him.

Originally it was repoted that Obama went to bed before the assault on the Embassy was ended.
After all, Las Vegas was calling.
As for her heinous, she spent the following night partying with the Libyan ambassador to celebrate the end of Ramadan.

Finally, someone asks the BIG question. WHAT INTELLEGENCE "community" were Hillary and brack listening to??? Not a soul, in real time intellegence, is on record yapping about a video protest. Hillary started that fiction.
Names, please. What intellegence source laid that egg?

You will be horrified, but if they could be there enduring that, we can darned well read about it and get very, very angry at those fools who are now telling lies and playing politics over these four American men's bodies.
So "read it"....you owe it to them.

Want to be terrified and share the final moments of our dead American brethren? Read the entire State Department briefing.
And some jerky broad in D.C. decides that they had no need for additional security forces! Boy, does that frost me.

It is common knowledge that the American hard left is working with the jihadists. This sounds like the Obama crew knew there were going to be 9/11 demonstrations supposedly over the video, and they just assumed the Benghazi attack was a part of it. The Stevens murder freaked them because no one was supposed to get hurt, but having already rolled out the preplanned narrative, they just folded Benghazi into the trumped up story. The Chairman of the Joint Chiefs made his planned phone call to the crackpot pastor and issued his press release linking the demonstrations to American Christians, Obama apologizes to everyone, and goes ahead with his preplanned UN speech declaring that the future does not belong to Christians or Jews.

If the US intelligence community could not almost immediately figure out that what happened, on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, at the US consulate in Benghazi, Libya was not another terrorist attack, the USA has been wasting a lot of money in beefing up it's intelligence assets in the Middle East by ending up with is surely an incompetent intelligence operation there.
If the US intelligence community is that incompetent, how are they ever going to figure out when Iran has harvested enough "fissionable" material to power a nuclear bomb? If they can't be relied upon to do that, how are they ever going to determine if Iran has not simultaneously built the bomb casing and trigger devises that Biden mumbled on about during the VP debate?

I read most of this last night and was sickened. I also watched nearly the entire hearing last week with that idiot Lamb woman and Amb. Kennedy, and their testimony is now rendered not only foolish but inconceivably deceptive. They need to be brought back before Issa's committee and explain this. And those moronic Dems who wanted to make the hearings all about a partisan trip to Libya and they were left behind, boo-hoo, well they too deserve a public flogging.
This transcript shows the complete, treasonous incompetence of Zippy's regime and the clown himself. Anyone who can read this and not get angry is simply not human. Ramona (the Pest)

NOT a "game changer." A game-changer would be when an erstwhile high-profile, influential Obama supporter has finally had enough. For instance, if Bill "Dick" Clinton finally said what he really thinks about Obama...now THAT would be a game-changer.

I was listening to an interview with Sean Smith's mother (Sean Smith was the IT expert/information officer who was killed in Benghazi).
His mother said she wasn't permitted to view his body. She said wants to know "everything" that happened, no matter how horrible; and that should be her right.
But her son's body was whisked away (and apparently buried) after arrival here in the US. When she asked for a viewing, she said she was told "it's already on the plane," presumably to a national cemetery?

Can't get away every time. You're just pushing the odds. At some point even Houdini got a surprise punch in the stomach or appendicitis or whatever caused his sudden demise that day in Detroit.
Obama and his crew are trying desperately to run out the clock on this one. It's a race between this tragic fiasco exploding or the calendar page turning to Nov 6. I don't know how the likes of Carney and Rice look themselves in the mirror in the morning. Makes you appreciate the enormous powers of rationalization and denial.

Let us hope so---I particularly would like Romney, also, to ask why, if Intel was so deficient in the BenGazi situation, why is it so accurate (a la Biden) re: Iran going nuclear? And I STILL want to know WHY the Ambassador was there to begin with....9/11, a particularly poorly defended outpost, a gay, even if really good guy, Ambassador---which is anathema to Muslims, etc.

I have a completely different take on this now. I am no longer interested in the evidence of administration inaction then. That was clear very early. No, what is important now is the continued lack of any concerted action.
Where is the address to the nation about what we will do to respond to the killing of our ambassador and the sacking and burning of our embassy? That was an act of war. Are we going to ignore that? Where is the mobilization of our military to configure and prepare future defenses of similar embassies around world hotspots?
Instead, silence, campaign yadayada, Joker grins , and hip hop parties.
Here's a question for the next debate: Mr. President, I'm not interested in what you knew about Benghazi then, I'm interested in what you're going to do about it now. What ARE you going to do about it and why is it taking you so long to do it?

The jetting off to Vegas by Obama (and Hillary celebrating the end of Ramadan with Libyans? as was reported elsewhere) shows such an immoral, horrendous view of life and defending our consulate---all Obama wanted/wants is to have the political plank of master of foreign affairs on his resume' for the election...he literally has nothing else. The mother of Shawn Smith said she cried on Obama's shoulder, he said "there there" and then looked away---and that's the last she heard from ANYONE re: how her son died. I hope Romney has the guts to bring this all up, and that Candy Crowley does not prove to be as biased and inefficient as the ABCF reporter.

Concluding paragraph FTA: It is hard to imagine what ''intelligence'' reports Obama could have received that blamed the YouTube video. He is lying, evidently.
He didn't 'receive' ANY intel reports.
He wrote his own.
I'll even go so far as to posit that he wrote the SCRIPT of this entire incident. Ambassador Stevens became a ''bump in the road'' to Obama's ultimate goal of worldwide (including U.S.) islamist upheaval. This stupid video excuse was (IS) intended (still) to become the fuse.
Maybe those sacrificed Americans in Benghazi were intentional...., maybe not. Those figures attacking the compound were in total darkness - do we have any real proof they were al-qaeda or Libyans or even Middle Eastern?
I have many more questions than anyone is asking.

So as our diplomats were dying and our sovereign territory was being attacked, our President, viewing the event in real time, completely abdicates his duty as Commander in Chief. That's what this boils down to. Barack 0bama has completely abdicated his responsibilities as the leader of this nation.

If she were the smartest woman in the world, as we have been told by Bill, then could she not have seen the danger of putting out such a false statement about a video and the potential for backfire? She even doubled down on it by sending out an apology to Muslims. Rice is her competitor, so she happily allowed her face time with the lies in front of the camera. I would like Obama, Clinton, Biden and Rice to go out with a bang. Throw in Carney with the lot. I've noticed Jarrett has managed to keep out of it.

I read the article and went to the link. This is indeed horrifying to read. But in all the chaos the agents lost the Ambassador. According to the briefing, no one knew what happened to him until someone at the hospital randomly dialed his cell phone numbers and our people picked up the call. How can you lose an Ambassador? And BTW, no author today could write anything as chilling as this account. And, Obammy zips out to Vegas. Yuck.

Obama went to Las Vegas and Hillary partied. They had discounted the underwear bomber. They had called the Ft. Hood massacre "workplace violence." Why should this be any different? And unless we raise our voices, it may not be any different.

Perhaps the most chilling part of the account was when those fleeing the compound were traveling in the armoured vehicle and were being guided to 'safety' by a group of men. Fortunately, their instincts told them to steer clear whereupon these 'helpers' began firing on them. Whether it's Benghazi or Afghanistan, our guys can't distinguish friend from foe, yet we are increasingly moving toward joint security efforts. We have to remember that there’s a 6 hour time difference. Libya is 6 hours ahead of us, so when the attacks started around 9:40 pm (Tues. night) Libyan time it’s 3:40 pm (Tues. afternoon) our time. I think this fact makes Obama and his Flying Monkeys look far worse than they already do.

My conclusion concerning the millions spent on Videos apologizing for a "Video" inciting violence in Cario had to have been done prior to the incident in Benghazi and was used to fuel additional violence across the spectrum. How was it Cario immediately was able to apologize in a short time frame for an "offensive" video and where did they get the idea to use this as the scape goat? Apparently captain zero wanted to diffuse attention only on Benghazi and spread it widely across the areas.

My thought exactly #34. Reported to media on 10/9. They knew this when Biden was spinning his lie at the debate and they let it slide. It is the 14th today and just coming out and only because the conservative media got it. If the media doesn't blow this story soon then it will be completely obvious how hard they are working for the Obama team. Worst thing I have seen coming from an Administration in my long lifetime and the media is helping to cover. UNBELIEVABLE.

I am SO happy to see that this article survived the overnight posting ''fog''.
Originally, we wondered - in this house - why the word of Libyan medical ''authorities'' was taken as the be all and end all. Did no American medical examiner perform an autopsy on these men? The families weren't given the remains to do with as they wanted? Why is Mrs Smith the only family member to speak out? Are the other families being paid off - bribed - threatened - promised???
Either there is something really really big being hidden here or there are really really stupid people in DC making decisions. Perhaps both.

This is pure conjecture...
I stated from the beginning that many facts about this smelled of a campaign wag the dog fiasco gone awry. The objective was to change US headlines.
1. Obama was being hammered over "you didn't build that". People were laughing at him over the empty chair. 2. Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood needed to be assured of continued US billions in aid. 3. They visit White House. Aid is approved. 4. Now it is learned that people were paid to demonstrate at US embassy in Egypt. 5. Movie excuse had been cooked up in advance. 6. Egyptian embassy apologizes. 7. Headlines changed.
Simple enough, but one problem. It's my contention that Libya blindsided them. They only counted on Egypt. They were locked into the movie ruse and weren't nimble enough to change course and admit the obvious. End result? Political disaster.
Another chicodon conspiracy theory? Probably, but who knows. Nothing about this story makes sense.

This horrifying account reads like a Hollywood script, but this is real and real people died. It will never be a Hollywood movie because it makes their pals in the Administration look bad. Remember how quickly it was announced that a movie about killing bin Laden would be made? It would proclaim the heroics of this One-duh-full president. But this story made into a movie? [Crickets]

So what is going to happen next? Right before the election look for either a drone, missile, or a special operations raid to happen in Libya, or someplace nearby, for a bunch of people to be killed, and for Barack Obama to hold a special national prime time address to the nation saying that he ordered whatever happens in response to the Benghazi attack.

This timeline does not say when Ambassador Stevens was raped. One must deduce it was after he died of smoke inhalation. Then dragged through the streets of Benghazi.
Hillary Clinton and Susan Rice propagated the video lie. Muslims as enraged movie critics but at least the despicable Christian is now in Federal prison in Los Angeles. The biggest lie was the speech by Obama on September 25 at the UN. Video, video, lie and lie all the time.

Democratic Party officials believe that Kevin Strouse is exactly the kind of candidate who can help them retake the House next year. He’s a smart, young former Army Ranger — good qualities for any aspiring politician. But what party leaders really like is that Strouse doesn’t have particularly strong views on the country’s hottest issues. Immigration? Tax policy? “Certainly I have a lot of research to do,” Strouse acknowledged in an interview Thursday as he announced his candidacy in a suburban Philadelphia House district. Strouse’s candidacy reflects an emerging

KAUFMAN, Tex. — The judge was on the phone. “Yep, I said I’ll do anything,” Bruce Wood told the person on the other end, rubbing his forehead. “They asked me to do a eulogy. I don’t know what I’m going to say.” Elsewhere in the Kaufman County Courthouse, a sheriff’s deputy was handing out bulletproof vests. “I brought the smallest one,” he said to a secretary, who stared at the khaki armor as he explained how to adjust the side straps should the need arise. “These have the neck for a female.” Outside, two armed guards

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank

Sponsored by the Poynter journalism center and funded by the McCormick Foundation of Chicago, we gathered in a city that witnessed 506 homicides last year. The idea, I take it

Carbon emissions in the US were at their lowest level in 2012 since 1994, according to figures released by the US Energy Information Administration. We did it without carbon trading scams, the EPA making carbon dioxide a poison, or obeying the dictates of the Kyoto climate Treaty. We did it partly because of decreased economic activity as a result of the Obama recovery-that-isn’t, but mostly because of good old fashioned market forces; competition between natural gas and coal: Energy-related carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions in 2012 were the lowest in the United States since 1994

When I tell campus horror-stories like “What’s the Matter With Vassar?” people ask if parents know what’s going on at these schools. I don’t think they want to know. But guess what happens when protesters step on others’ rights in full view of parents? Tufts has one of the most active campus fossil-fuel divestment groups. Lately these protesters have been infiltrating orientation sessions and campus tours for prospective students, mostly high school juniors traveling with their parents. Climate protesters interrupt these recruitment activities with questions

It is amazing just how wrong economists were in their predictions for the number of jobs that were to be created in March. The “consensus” figure was 200,000 — a far cry from the actual number created which was 88,000. Totally “unexpected,” as usual. In one way, you can’t blame them. After a better than average gain in February of 236,000 (revised upward this month to 268,000), along with some positive numbers in housing and consumer spending, there were no doubt many analysts who began breathing a sigh of relief and believing that the long-awaited jobs recovery was upon us.

Rich Lowery in the New York Post (4-02-2013) accuses the liberals of being the new climate deniers, considering that they don´t recognize that there´s been no global warming for the last fifteen years. This shouldn´t surprise Lowery. When the liberals hang onto the neck of a cause, they don´t let go. They have ignored murders, rapes, wars, nuclear proliferation, and everything wrong with the world to focus in on their little area -- the horror of carbon emissions. You´d think liberals would have learned from their earlier panic about overpopulation

President Obama will propose a budget next week that embraces a risky strategy of courting Republicans for a grand bargain on the debt while angering Democratic allies with cuts to the nation’s entitlement programs. White House officials said Friday that Obama’s budget would cut Medicare and Social Security and ask for less tax revenue than he has previously sought. The budget, to be released Wednesday, will fully incorporate the offer Obama made to House Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) during December’s “fiscal cliff” talks — which included $1.8 trillion in deficit reduction through spending cuts and tax increases.

President Obama´s biggest gaffe yesterday when speaking of California Attorney General Kamala Harris was not in flirtatiously complimenting her as "the best-looking attorney general," but in introducing an observation from the system of beauty into a forum that was about the system of power. What´s that, you say? Irin Carmon does a great job in Salon in laying out the bounds of propriety for when it´s appropriate to talk about a woman´s looks as a general matter. But I´ve long felt we lack a solid theoretical underpinning for easily discussing these issues, and why precisely it is that

No one is more preoccupied these days with Hillary Clinton´s 2016 plans than the Beltway political class—not even the former presidential candidate herself. To hear some tell it, her decision will be dispositive for all other Democrats thinking of entering the race. If she runs, she clears the field.” It´s an understandable conclusion, given Clinton´s stature in the Democratic Party and her 70 percent

In the chilling interview, a distraught Ms. Smith, in tears, pleaded for answers and spoke of the efforts to silence her. Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,

According to a White House statement, the Obama administration believes the current rules allow some wealthy individuals "to accumulate many millions of dollars in these accounts, substantially more than is needed to fund reasonable levels of retirement saving."
