Biden's Intellegence
Wall Street Journal, by Editorial

Original Article

Joe Biden's unbounded id is the talk of the nation after Thursday's debate. But the Veep is also the elder Democratic statesman on international affairs, and in between his snickers, guffaws and "malarkey," he shed newsworthy light on Obama Administration foreign policy. Let's roll the tape. On Iran, Mr. Biden broke new ground, though most of the media missed it. To a question about the Administration's willingness to stop the Tehran regime from going nuclear,

Biden acted the Court Jester and who looks to the Court Jester for intelligence? He played the part so well that no one believed he was acting the fool; he is the fool. This is the person who Barack Hussain Obama picked from the entire country to be his VP, the one who would take his place if anything happened to him. Something is wrong with this picture.

You knew Biden was in hype attack mode when he deep referring to Romney and Ryan as 'my friend' instead of the congenial McLame 'my good friend'. That aside, Joe's idiocy and lack of knowledge is slowly coming out. Not that it will do any good as the Kneepad media will bury as much as possible, but the Internet and other sources will make it known to more people than in the past.

The thought of Joe Biden as President is truly frightening. To say he lacks intelligence is to give him a pass for his untruthfulness. Which is it? I don't know, but he would be a disaster. And his is rude and boorish, to boot.

Reply 11 - Posted by: bmw50, 10/13/2012 9:09:58 AM     (No. 8929968)

I agree with #4

Watching Biden at the debate reminded me of a person who had had one too many beers. He was loud, obnoxious, arrogant and rude. That was Joe being Joe.

One other observation. Debates are intended to be vehicles by which ideas and policies can be aired and discussed. That requires the participants be free to express their views without interruptions and let the people decide which views fit their interests and needs.

But that wasn't Joe's purpose for being there; it was to silence Ryan, not debate him. Anyone who is in opposition of truth will do everything in their power to silence it; deny the facts and discredit the evidence. That is what Joe came to do and he did it well.

Joe and the Democrat party is no different, in principle, than Islam; they don't debate, they don't reason and they don't listen; they stop what offends them however they can.

If we lived in the days when people could duel with pistols, Biden would not have hesitated to kill Ryan... to silence him. He can't do that today, but he can laugh, be obnoxious, arrogant, rude, crass, demeaning and disrespectful.

That is what the Democrat Party is and Joe is their senior statesman.

FTA: "In a clearer moment this summer, Mitt Romney said he would insist that Iran not enrich any uranium, even ostensibly for peaceful purposes."

When Romney is sworn in as president on Jan. 20, I hope someone will show him a text of Article IV of the NPT, which states: "Nothing in this Treaty shall be interpreted as affecting the inalienable right of all the Parties to the Treaty to develop research, production and use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes without discrimination and in conformity with Articles I and II of this Treaty."

Iran's antagonists never want to acknowledge this Article IV of the NPT, because it undermines their case against Iran.

Enrichment is part of the production process of nuclear energy.

As a sovereign nation, Iran has an intrinsic, inealienable right to enrich uranium, as acknowledged in Article IV of the NPT as quoted above.

When a president Romney is made aware of the provision of Article IV, I think he will change his mind about insisting that "Iran not enrich any uranium, even ostensibly for peaceful purposes".

#3 - there was an article in Forbes in August that suggested the same thing about Biden. (Forbes Op Ed 8/20/2012.)

There are worse things for a politician than lack of insight – and the person selected by Barack Obama to be a heartbeat away from the presidency exhibits many of them. Joe Biden has problems with impulse control and reality testing; increasingly, his utterances suggest some sort of dementia.

There was a point about half way through the debate when the moderator said something to Biden that immediately changed his demeanor from a clown to totally enraged. He rose from his chair and appeared he was going to physically attack her. From then on his lips were pinched and fire flashed from his eyes. I didn't catch what she said and haven't seen it discussed anywhere. Anyone else notice?

Approximately twenty five years ago, my father (who has since passed) said Joe Biden was the dumbest senator in Washington. Over the years, I've been reminded many times how accurate my Dad was. The debate on Thursday was the crowning glory/swan song for Joe the Clown. And I'm being polite by calling him a clown. There's another word that better describes him.

Obama's very first decision to select this idiot as his running mate is a small example of all the bad decisions he's made in the past four years. Thursday night should have made it crystal clear to those doubting voters that they have a double reason to vote for Mitt Romney on November 6th, not only to replace Obama as POTUS, but also, to get rid of Joe the Clown.

I'm scared after watching this debate. If Biden, or anyone else in our government thinks that making a bomb out of highly enriched uranium is hard they are delusional. Back in the Manhattan Project days they built huge facilities in Hanford, WA and Oak Ridge, TN to produce fissile material. The bomb dropped on Hiroshima ("Little Boy")used a naval gun barrel to shoot one piece of the uranium onto the other by means of chemical explosives. It produced an explosion of 16 KT and killed 150,000 people.

In February 1945, the specifications for the bomb were completed (model 1850). The bomb, except for the uranium payload, was ready at the beginning of May 1945.

That's three months, folks.

After a nation watched in suspense as events unfolded this week surrounding the Boston Marathon bombings and the ensuing manhunt for the suspects, we now await the details in our quest to understand “why.” Tamerlan Tsarnaev was shot and killed Friday in a confrontation with police in the early morning hours. Younger brother Dzhokhar Tsarnaev fled, prompting a manhunt that finally ended Saturday after “suspect #2” was found injured and hiding in a boat behind a residence in Watertown, Massachusetts. Dzhokhar remains in a hospital while the nation awaits what is expected to be an arrest.

Instead, advocates said they will step up their public campaign to try to sway opponents in the short term, with an eye to reviving the bill later this year, and also will take a look at campaigning against gun-rights supporters at the ballot box next year.

Call it “terrorism” if a label helps you make sense of this madness. Find who did it and squash him—or them—with what President Obama called “the full weight of justice.” But in the broad scheme of things, such loose ends matter less than this: Life in America changed with the Boston Marathon bombings—again, and as with past attacks, for the much worse. The Oklahoma City bombing in April 1995 and the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks were knee-buckling blows that led to an obsession over domestic security and foreign wars that will mark—and mar—our generation.
