As Election Day nears,
Romney crowds are surging

SIDNEY, Ohio — The crowds tell the story. As Election Day nears, Mitt Romney is drawing large and excited throngs. Look to dusty Iowa cornfields, rain-soaked Virginia parks, the muddy fields of the Shelby County Fairgrounds, where a crowd of 9,500 — almost half of this western Ohio town — gathered among the barns and stables on a frigid October evening this week to glimpse the Republican presidential contender. "Where else would we want to be?" said one of the shivering faithful, Judy Cartwright, a 71-year-old nurse from Sidney. "I want to see the next president of the United States."

Yes, it sounds like a wonderful relief. If they win, I will run down the street screaming in joy and waving a flag. I will also drive and honk and celebrate like there is no tomorrow. If Zero wins, there will be no tomorrow. I don't care what the lefties here would say or think about my partying. Let them try to pull something. I'll have to move anyway because of all the Obama cronyism and the UN Agenda 21 is tearing down my home and the last few homes on big pieces of land. I can only hope and pray that things start getting better before I have to live on my car with my cats.

I really can't see the dems marching into this election the way things currently stand. They see the same polls as everybody else and Obama only locking down 10 states

Now all of a sudden the riot card is slipping out.So the choice is living in a communist country or worrying about rioters tearing things up.

It's never too late for an October surprise while it's still October.

#3: it needs to be more than that if we expect to win. With the way the Dems are attacking True the Vote and fighting against anti-fraud efforts. The way they're suppressing the military vote. They are not going to sit there and let this be an above-board, fair election.

I'm with Romney all the way. Just a point though, Reagan straightened the economy out, but that tough medicine took everything down for the first year. Stock market tanked first year of Reagan, didn't bottom out until late summer of 1982, then straight up. Just sayin'. Might work out immediately for Mitt, but we all might have to be patient too.

Just to add, the term in the early '80s was "taking away the punchbowl", as the FED reversed course from Carter years easy money, to Reagan's sound currency. Could see that again, along with a shutdown of all the "stimulus" (ie GRAFT) going to unions and other DEM machines. Could put consumer spending into a tailspin.

obama's big crowds now are at universities, where classes are canceled and the captive audience of "50 percenters" are lured to fill the venue with promises of free weed, courtesy of Bill Maher. (OK, some sarc).

BTW - a 50 percenter is a college student whose odds of finding a job are 50 percent, thanks to the marxist metrosexual masquerading as a leader. Those who are working can be recognized by their speaking skills, ex: "May I have the pleasure of serving you fries with your wise choice of a quarter-pounder with cheese?"

Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan were together yesterday in Lancaster, Ohio - just down the road from me. Lancaster's population is around 38,000. Almost 9,000 showed up to greet them on a beautiful fall day and the crowd loved them!!

Later that evening, Paul Ryan stopped in Columbus to welcome home eight members of our military and spend time with them before leaving. Class act.

A flood of corruption scandals involving state and local Democratic Party lawmakers is threatening to muddy the party’s image as it enters what was already a tough election cycle. In a week Democrats won’t soon forget, the Democrat-dominated California Senate took the unprecedented step Friday of voting 28-1 to suspend with pay three state senators in their own party accused or convicted of criminal conduct. State Sen. Leland Yee was arrested Wednesday on federal gun trafficking and corruption charges. Sen. Ron Calderon pleaded not guilty Feb. 24 to charges of influence-peddling, and Sen. More than half of the 2.6 million Americans dispatched to fight the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan struggle with physical or mental health problems stemming from their service, feel disconnected from civilian life and believe the government is failing to meet the needs of this generation’s veterans, according to a poll conducted by The Washington Post and the Kaiser Family Foundation. The long conflicts, which have required many troops to deploy multiple times and operate under an almost constant threat of attack, have exacted a far more widespread emotional toll than previously recognized by most government studies and independent assessments:

Military officials said they are investigating the conduct of a U.S. Marine who was on assignment for President Obama’s trip to the Netherlands last week, after witnesses said he was talking in detail about his job and passing around his government security badge during a night of drinking at a bar. The Marine, Korey Nathan Pritchett, was first identified by a Dutch newspaper based on witness accounts and smartphone photos taken during the partying, which happened two nights before Obama arrived at The Hague for a nuclear security summit. What did that mean, I asked, surprised. Were they for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender rights? For gay marriage? Were they actually gay? He couldn’t really define it, though the conversation meandered in that direction for a few more minutes, also touching on the subject of the former president’s alleged marital infidelity,

Democrat Rep. Nancy Pelosi just might be a racist monster who wants to murder live children for the sake of eliminating “undesirables.” Why would I say such an outrageous thing? Because Pelosi has accepted an award named for Margaret Sanger. And Margaret Sanger was definitely a racist monster who advocated murdering live children for the sake of eliminating “undesirables.” Quote: The most merciful thing that the large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it. That’s advocating child murder. It’s not racist, but we’re not done. Sanger considered racial minorities to be “human weeds.” In context,

Barring a miraculous upsurge in President Obama’s dismal 41% approval rating, Hillary Clinton’s run for president in 2016 will be a steep uphill climb. Clinton will need to walk a political tight rope, distancing herself from Obama without coming across as a disloyal member of the president’s political coterie. Justices touched on abortion, the limits of federal power and details of birth control, but the case centering on the Hobby Lobby craft store chain likely will come down to whether the court believes for-profit companies and their owners can claim a moral conscience objection to paying for employees’ birth control.
