"Million Muppet March"
planned to defend U.S.
backing for PBS

Original Article

Posted By:Scottyboy, 10/12/2012 7:48:38 PM

Plans to save Big Bird, the fuzzy yellow character on U.S. public television's "Sesame Street," from possible extinction are taking shape in the form of a puppet-based protest next month dubbed the "Million Muppet March." The demonstration is planned for November 3 at the National Mall in Washington, D.C., three days before the general election. Before the presidential debate between Democratic President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney had concluded on October 3, two men who had never met each floated the Million Muppet March idea on social media. They immediately united to defend public broadcasting.

Comments:
The perfect ending to 0bama's campaign. Mindless puppets marching into a political wilderness that has the potential to last for generations.

People are struggling to put food on the table, tired because they have to work more than one job and these idiots think that marching with puppets are gonna keep Obama in office so that people will continue to struggle.

I'm sure that Mitt and Paul can take 15 minutes and show the people who pay the freight for this stuff, that would be the American Taxpayer, just how much money PBS makes off their various shows and the merchandise. It would wake up the dead, for sure.

And let America be treated to a couple of days of images of the union thugs, crackheads, Codepinko lunatics, and Occupy Sesame Street psychos marching in the streets while the Middle East burns down and more layoffs are announced....

PBS has endless donation drives, is not entirely non-commercial, and has philanthropic
donors, all in addition to the funds it receives from the government. But somehow they will cease to exist if the Government funding is reduced or eliminated. Well my suggestion is just find a few more commercial donors and let the taxpayers off the hook. I have no problem with their broadcasting, but they can easily
remain viable without the government prop.

What Margaret Thatcher

In her remarkable life, Margaret Thatcher achieved what Hillary Rodham Clinton still wants (or at least what the pundits say she wants): She became the first female leader of her country, and she did it in such a determined way that her sex was almost an afterthought. In many respects, the two women are profoundly different. Thatcher, who died Monday at 87, was a self-described "conviction politician" and arch-conservative who channeled Milton Friedman and bonded fiercely with "Ronnie" Reagan, her great pal and partner on the world stage as the Cold War came to an end.

The U.S. has been denied direct access to the only publicly known suspect in custody in connection with the Benghazi terror attack, Fox News has learned, with U.S. interrogators still unable to sit in the same room as the Egypt-held prisoner to ask questions. Abu Ahmed, also known as Mohammed Jamal, is suspected of establishing Islamist training camps in Eastern Libya where militants who took part in the Sept. 11 Benghazi terrorist attack were able to train. Ahmed is not suspected of directly taking part in the attack which left four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens, dead.

More recently, Republicans have invoked Benghazi to shoot down one would-be cabinet nominee, Susan Rice, and delay two others, Chuck Hagel and John Brennan.
