White House Blames State
Department, House Republicans
for Lack of Security in Benghazi

Cybercast News Service, by Fred Lucas

Backing up Vice President Joe Biden’s claim the previous night about being unaware of a request for more security at the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, the White House Friday asserted the responsibility lay with the State Department. “What I am saying, when it comes to the number of personnel, who are in place at consulates and embassies and other diplomatic facilities around the world, those decisions are appropriately made at the State Department by security personnel,” White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said. “When it comes to funding, this president makes sure

Comments:
How does Jay Carney feel about selling his soul to this filthy regime. Charlene Lamb specifically said when asked by Dana Rohrabacher that budgetary concerns had absolutely nothing to do with the lack of security. All this regime does is lie, lie and lie some more.

The problem is self-inflicted. The Obama regime has lied and lied and lied...so much...that they are having trouble remembering what lies they told.

So... they blame Republicans.

The nation is seeing them for what they are... liars.

Our country deserves better. These are disgusting people.

Perhaps if Zippy had bothered to attend some of those security briefings he chose to forgo while instead jetting around AF1 going on Letterman,The View, partying it up with Jayz and Beyonce and attending endless fundraisers and campaign rallies. Maybe just maybe he would have been aware of what was going on. Just sayin...

A few questions:

Why did we need a consulate in Benghazi at all? The Embassy in Tripoli surely could have handled Benghazi's business too.

Why, when an IED was thrown through the consulate's gates on June 6, did we not do as the British did when their Ambassador was attacked? From a September 12 Telegraph report:

On June 11, a rocket-propelled grenade was fired at Sir Dominic Asquith, the British ambassador, as he drove through [Benghazi]. He was unscathed, but two of his bodyguards were injured. Britain responded by closing its diplomatic office in Benghazi and withdrawing all UK staff.

That report, "US consulate attack in Libya: the warning signs were there in Benghazi," also commented (and I emphasize this was the day after the attack):

This sequence suggests there could have been more to the bloodshed in Benghazi than a spontaneous demonstration against a YouTube film that escalated out of control. It seems unlikely that an attack could have been planned and executed so quickly in direct response to Zawahiri’s words. But the evidence shows that armed groups in Benghazi have been trying to kill the representatives of Western countries for some time.

Now--how long was it that anyone connected to State or the White House was insisting it was all the fault of some invisible video? Almost a month, by my count.

And one last question: why do we not know the reason for our Ambassador being in Benghazi at a poorly designed, badly constructed and almost undefended facility on that particular day of all days?

After an international bidding war, a Westside mansion often described as a French palace has changed hands for $102 million, making it the most expensive residential sale ever recorded in Southern California. As is often the case with high-end properties, the identity of the trophy home´s unnamed buyer has been obscured behind layers of lawyers, agents and a limited liability company. But the real estate equivalent of a bread crumb trail suggests that the purchaser of the opulent estate is onetime junk bond king Michael Milken, who has spent more than two decades devoted to philanthropic efforts since he pleaded guilty in

A few months back, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius stated for the record that 7 million Obamacare sign-ups by the end of March would constitute success. She was clear about it. But then February came, and February always stinks. It’s just a lousy month. You’re tired of winter, you’re still miles away from spring, and no one was signing up for Obamacare. That 7 million figure looked totally unreachable. So Sebelius does what every other member of the Obama administration does when confronted with inconvenient facts. She lied.
