Comments:
This dude really messed up. If he don't get canned right off, the best he can hope for is reassignment to the rubber gun squad for a few years.

Who knows what pressures are placed on the Secret Service in dealing with the lunatics in the White House?

I'm thinking they deserve our sympathy. They certainly have mine.

We had the prostitutes in South America and the Secret Service Agents, now we have public drunkenness with the agents. Have you ever known so many problems with these agents, or is it just with this administration?

An occupational hazard for the Secret Service that OSHA should look into.

My first thought was dismay at the low quality folks that seem to have been hired in the SS - are these affirmative action hires?

Then my mind swerved to the same point as #9. What if I had sworn to take a bullet for the president or VP? With the POTUS and VP that we have, that could really pose a moral dilemma, and maybe a few stiff ones would help.

There´s a good chance someone, somewhere knows something. Maybe it´s a wife who, sometime back, found instructions for constructing explosives in her husband´s Web browser history. Maybe it´s a father who worries his son has fallen in with an ideologically extremist, potentially dangerous crowd. Maybe it´s a man who has seen his brother´s rage boil over to the point of violence one too many times. There´s a good chance someone, somewhere knows something that could help authorities find the person or people who set off two bombs at the Boston Marathon, killing three people and injuring more than 180 others.

But the Kentucky senator said that looking at the parents of Newtown victims who have spoken in favor of gun control legislation, ”I think in some cases the president has used them as props.”

As we now move into the official Political Aftermath period of the Boston bombing — the period that will determine the long-term legislative fallout of the atrocity — the dynamics of privilege will undoubtedly influence the nation’s collective reaction to the attacks. That’s because privilege tends to determine: 1) which groups are — and are not — collectively denigrated or targeted for the unlawful actions of individuals; and 2) how big and politically game-changing the overall reaction ends up being.

At a Christian Science Monitor breakfast on Tuesday, Kelly said he would back an opponent to Flake if the "right candidate" was available and if the senator failed to support a background check bill, according to reports. Flake, who is not up for reelection until 2018, has been close to Kelly and Giffords. But Kelly said the issue of control trumped their ties.
