| President Barack Obama warned his supporters about the threat of global warming and vowed that more money to subsidize green energy firms would prevent it. “By the way, yes, my plan will reduce the carbon pollution that is eating our planet because climate change is not a hoax,” Obama said at a campaign rally at the Bank United Arena at the University of Miami. “More droughts and hurricanes and wildfires, that’s not a joke. That’s a threat to our children’s future, and we can do something about it.” Obama said that he planned to

This campaign is in free fall. After Mitt brilliantly pointed out that he blew $90 billion in subsidies for "green" energy in 1 year, Zero decides that climate change should be the next topic of conversation. Bring it moron! He thinks Americans are going to buy this crap and care about it when they are losing their jobs, homes, savings, future... and of course $$$$$ from the middle class and millionaires and billionaires will solve it like it has everything else /s.
Like poster said - he is the biggest threat to our children.

The greatest threat to my children's future is out of control fiscal actions shored up by socially divisive policy, a reckless central banking mentality, and a complete unwillingness to address spending. Guam is tipping over! Carbon is eating our planet! Oh my goodness Mr. Bill. No, no, no!!
Our oceans and nearly all our land masses are overrun with carbon. Carbon, carbon everywhere. Even our atmosphere is heavily laden with CO2, a carbon based gas we are forced every day of our lives to breath in search of life giving oxygen.
That carbon based life form slithering around the White House is eating a lot more than his share of carbon to hasten our demise. Look at all that carbon he eliminates every day that causes our sewer systems to become overloaded with carbon.
Yep, we're doomed all right....

At a Democratic National Committee fund raising event in Atherton, California Thursday morning, President Obama declared that the United States government still needs to get its fiscal house in order: We still waste money in all kinds of things that don´t work, and we have the capacity to shift those dollars into things that do work and that will grow our economy. And we can reduce our deficit, stabilize our debt, and do so without sacrificing the kinds of investments that are going to be required to grow. During his remarks, the president spoke of the

Religious liberty groups are mobilizing to defend the chaplain of George Washington University’s Newman Center after gay students launched an effort to have the priest fired because he preaches against homosexuality and abortion. “It’s discrimination against Catholics,” said Patrick Reilly, president of the Cardinal Newman Society. “Secular colleges are fast becoming a very unsafe place for Catholics who hold true to their faith. This is a very, very sad situation.” Two gay students at George Washington told the GW Hatchet student newspaper that they want Father Greg Shaffer removed from campus

One of the first political issues negotiators must tackle in crafting an immigration reform bill is among the most important: what to name it. It’s a decision that will bruise egos, create legacies and deeply affect subsequent messaging battles. “Every time the bill is mentioned in the press, you either have a brand that´s positive or a brand that doesn´t mean anything or even hurts you,” said Frank Sharry, the executive director of the pro-immigration reform group America’s Voice. The wrong name, he warned, could doom a good bill. “If there´s not a

In a revelation that may have Colorado voters rethinking their state’s push on gun control, court documents revealed that the mass shooting in Aurora that killed 12 and injured 70 more could have been prevented by law enforcement. The psychiatrist for suspect, James Holmes, had warned campus police that Holmes was dangerous and homicidal a month before the shooting took place. Lynne Fenton even told the police that Holmes had begun to stalk and threaten her, and yet no action was apparently taken: A University of Colorado psychiatrist told campus police a month before the Aurora

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

On Friday, Sean Hannity brought Pat Smith, mother of the late Sean Smith, on his radio program. The 34-year-old information management officer was one of four Americans murdered in the Benghazi embassy attack on September 11, 2012. Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,

But really she’s something much more interesting: a traitor to her class. Her betrayal consists of being gauche enough to acknowledge publicly a truth that everyone who’s come up through Ivy League culture knows intuitively —
