| Liberals are more pleased with moderator Martha Raddatz than conservatives are disappointed. And it's easy to see why. Raddatz allowed Joe Biden to interrupt Paul Ryan repeatedly during the Vice Presidential debate, and interrupted Ryan herself, while posing questions that were radically in favor of the Obama team. Ryan overcame Raddatz's bias and won the debate regardless, leaving less for conservatives to complain about. Still, it is worth noting the facts. While the candidates' speaking time was roughly equal--not counting crosstalk, Biden spoke for 38:25 and Ryan 37:27--Raddatz’s questions were not in any way a measure of equality.

I wish our conservative media would drop the complaining about Raddatz. It makes us sound like Obama's sycophants after his debate with Romney. Who thought any of the debate moderators, agreed to by the Romney campaign, would not be biased, much less Raddatz. The time for complaining or machinations was before the debate hosts, venues, and formats were established.

I'm surprised the time was so close. I was watching CSPAN, not CNN, but does anyone know if the Biden clock would run when he was interrupting Paul Ryan, or did the Biden clock run only when he was directly responding to the moderator?

Raddatz was tough on Ryan and easy on Biden. She let Biden cross the line. She did not allow the same to Ryan.

I respectfully disagree with you. Paul held his own during the debate, but the Raddatz performance was beyond the pale and over the top.
The difference is between the complaints concerning Lehrer and the complaints about Ryan are very different. Ryan didn't bomb during the debate and held his own despite the fact that he was debating two people. The complaints about Lehrer were used as damage control on Obama's poor performance. Big difference there.

Agree Ryan was debating two people. I became annoyed with Raddatz. She would question Ryan's answers or try to make him correct or adjust his answers as though she was a direct participant in the debate, not the moderator. Not so much with Biden. She just let him rant on and seldom questioned his answers.

I wish, just one time, the Rebublicans would come out and say we are not going to agree to a debate unless Fox News gets a shot, and one the the debates is a Lincoln-Douglas style with no moderator. Otherwise, kiss off...

Im glad to hear that any gains Crazy Joe got at debate were washed out by his indecency. But this Radditz pizzed me off. There was at least one - two moments where CRazy had finished his lame reply and Radditz asked a follow up and you could see abject fear in Crazys eyes as her qwuestion unraveled and then as she finsished she said please rpely to that Cong Ryan. ahnd Crazy breathed a sigh of relief. Gimme a break. The issue of why RNC allows far left moderators has to be discussed and dealt with. Jacob Reces, former head of Princeton’s College Republicans, asked Jackson during a talk on Tuesday if she regretted using the alternate email account, according to the New Jersey Star-Ledger. During Barack Obama´s presidency there have been 32 background checks for gun purchases every minute. Since February of 2009, the first full month of Obama´s presidency, there have been 70,291,049 background checks for gun purchases, according to data released by the FBI. Using February 1, 2009 as our starting date, and March 31, 2013 as our end date, (the latest data from the FBI) Obama has been president for 1,520 days. That equates to 36,480 hours, or 2,188,800 minutes. Divide the 70,291,049 background checks by 2,188,800 minutes and you get approximately 32 checks for gun purchases every minute!

As he rolls out his fiscal 2014 budget on Wednesday, a new survey finds that Americans haven’t felt this confident about President Obama’s handling of the economy since his first year in office. The Gallup poll, which sampled more than 1,000 Americans, found that 57 percent say they have a “great deal or a fair amount of confidence” in Mr. Obama to do the right thing on the economy. That’s up from just 50 percent last year and hasn’t been this high since it hit 71 percent in 2008. Trust in congressional Republicans, on the other hand, remains low.

The media is all abuzz with Kim Kardashian’s pregnancy these days: she fat? Should she really be wearing leather pants while pregnant? What is that cape-like thing she wore the other week? An assistant professor of art and graphic design at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas is under investigation for allegedly forcing graphic design students to create anti-gun artwork for her own personal crusade against firearms. Campus Reform broke the story and confirmed that officials at the public, taxpayer-supported school launched an investigation after receiving a student’s official complaint last week. According to the complaint, the professor, Jennifer Yucus, required students to produce posters in opposition to certain gun-friendly legislation currently making its way through the Texas state legislature.

The National Rifle Association will oppose the background check bill introduced by Sen. Joe Manchin (D., W.V.) and Sen. Pat Toomey (R., Pa.) Just over a week after sequestration took effect, the State Department allotted more than $700,000 for gardening at a U.S. Ambassador’s residence in Brussels, Belgium. On March 11, State awarded a contract to provide gardening services at an “official residence” of the U.S. Mission in Belgium. A State Department spokesperson confirmed to CNSNews.com that the contract is for Truman Hall, a historic property that serves at the residence of the Ambassador to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO). People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals is actively shopping for a drone that would "stalk hunters," the organization said Monday.
