That was one of the weirdest debates I’ve ever seen. Paul Ryan was a precise, patient policy wonk, and Joe Biden was CRAZY GRANDPA, YOU WANT A PIECE O’ ME, SON?? I could scarcely even pay attention to whatever lies Biden was telling, so distracting was all his laughing and interrupting and flailing about. As Christopher Bedford puts it, he swapped out “hope and change” for “interrupt and laugh.” He was so obnoxious, I became convinced he was trying to goad Ryan into taking a swing at him. He bore a distinct resemblance to this guy:

I caught about 3 seconds of the debate walking by a bar with the t.v. on - funny, but that's all I neeeded to see, because it was Biden's supercilious grin I caught, and I figured that was going to be the whole debate, which, apparently, it was. Didn't work, I also see.

My favorite part was when Biden said he has seen Afganastan - *mostly in a helicopter but sometimes in a vehicle*

That made me laugh out loud.

Biden played the insane uncle in the attic perfectly which made everything he said suspect. He outright lied about Libia and the economy. No one is pointing that out. The MSM is spinning out of control right now with trying to act like Biden is sane. He's not. Ryan showed knowlege and respect for one's elders. If Biden had actually allowed him to speak without interruption, the MSM would have nothing to say this morning.

Net...net...many independents were put off by this snarky, lying, blustering........politician.

Ryan stayed calm and cool.

With all the grinning, snarky smiling and chortling lying, all I could focus on was his teeth. They look like $50K of quality dentistry from the 80's, that needs to be replaced! Ryan was composed, youthful and in command of the facts. Biden didn't look very good at all.

Exactly, poster 4. You know, Biden reminds me of two individuals on Fox who smirk, laugh, interrupt, and have that that's so stupid look on their faces when they can't defend their ideas. The two people are Juan Williams and Bob Beckel. They do it all the time and that's what's so annoying about watching them.

Paul Ryan was asked about his plan. No one heard the answer as Biden and Raddatz interrupted so many times. More importantly, can anyone say what Joe Biden's plan is. I got he knows "Bebe" (laughter), Benghazi is just funny (wild laughter), deficits (more laughter), unemployment (laughter), budgets (laughter) --- but what do you plan to do about these problems Joe? --- laugh about them.

I was hoping Ryan would stand up, yes, getting out of his chair, to call attention to the way Biden was interrupting and ask if he would like to debate issues as adults.

In the fall of 2010, the nasty midterms drawing to a close, Michelle Obama was contemplating her next move. Two years into her tenure as first lady, the breathless fixation on guest lists and china selections was subsiding into routine, and she wanted a plan for the rest of her husband’s time in office. Of course, her calendar would never lack for National Hostess duties—the obligatory social functions outlined in binders left by Laura Bush’s team. ALBANY — New York, whose status as the most populous state has long been ceded, will soon fall behind Florida into fourth place, a long-anticipated drop that is rife with symbolism and that could carry potentially serious economic consequences in coming years. When the Census Bureau releases its latest population estimates on Monday, demographers expect that Florida and New York will be narrowly separated — perhaps by as little as a few thousand people — and that if Florida does not pass New York this time, it almost certainly will do so in 2014. The census figures underscore immigration trends, as foreign-born migrants continue to
