Obama's Real Unemployment Rate Is
14.7%, And A Recession's On The Way

Forbes, by Peter Ferrara

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported last Friday that 114,000 new jobs were created last month, according to its Establishment Survey of business payrolls that has been emphasized by the Obama Administration. That is pitifully weak, especially for what is supposed to be the fourth year of a recovery (the National Bureau of Economic Research scored the recession as officially over in June, 2009). As economist John Lott noted at FoxNews.com on October 5, the working age population grew by 206,000 last month. With two-thirds of those working as would be expected during a normal recovery,

If obama is still in the White House next year, we are gonna have a lot worse than a recession. The Great White Satan will finally be put in its place.

A Romney win will stave off the end times-- but hard times--- er, harder times are coming anyway.

It's inevitable. And no one is talking about it in this election, save for Ryan.

It's really not about the numbers or historical comparisons but whether we're headed in the right direction nad that's why Obama cronies manipulate the numbers so even modest gains fit the bill of improvement. The jobs being created right now are basically coming out of osmosis and have nothing to due with Obama job policies which he hasn't done anything on since the failed stimulus.

Obama wants to point at corporate profits as the economy doing good, the problem is corporate hiring has been flatlined for decades. It's smal and medium business that creates real growth. Corporations in a lot of cases are just middle men distributing foreign imports which doesn't do much except for transportation and low paid retail clerks.

We need small business start ups by the thousands but that's hard to do with Dodd/Frank killing small business loans.

On the other hand, there's a couple trillion of private capital on the sidelines which could be mainlined with the right government policies. This is where Romney will get his jobs from.If he can't get rid of Obamacare,he can at least sabotage it.

I wish Ryan had stuck with repeating that on obama/biden's watch, the USA was downgraded for the first time in history. That the middle class income was slashed by $4,000. Then list the foreclosures, lost jobs that will never come back and the number of former "allies" that have either distanced themselves from us or no longer exist. AND the increase in number of islamist countries that now exist and are stating out loud that their goal is to destroy us. Over and over again.

Dems May Not Be So Willing to
Back White House in IRS Scandal
PJ Media, by Bridget Johnson    Original Article

As the IRS scandal piled on to the Obama administration’s already mounting oversight problems, wary Democrats gave early indications that they may not stand in lockstep with the White House on its latest looming investigations. And this even before news broke that the Justice Department secretly obtained two months’ worth of Associated Press phone records, mortifying free-press advocates. Sen. Carl Levin (D-Mich.), chairman of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, on Friday called for a probe into IRS criteria used for nonprofit organizations. Today, as the storm grew over the IRS targeting of the Tea Party and other conservative groups,

Cleveland cops were summoned six times to handle accusations that accused kidnapper Ariel Castro had assaulted or menaced people, including three alleged beatings of his wife, but he was only convicted once and was never sentenced to any prison time. One of the accusations against Castro was that he battered his wife while she was recovering from brain surgery, according to newly released police records. It is unclear whether any of the reported incidents could have led police to the three women allegedly held as sex slaves for a decade in his house,

NEW ORLEANS -- Police late Monday identified a 19-year-old man as a suspect in the shooting of about 20 people during a Mother´s Day parade in New Orleans, saying several people had identified him as the gunman captured by surveillance camera videos. Superintendent Ronal Serpas said officers were looking for Akein Scott of New Orleans. He said it was too early to say whether he was the only shooter. "We would like to remind the community and Akein Scott that the time has come for him to turn himself in," Serpas said at a news conference outside of police headquarters.

WASHINGTON -- Congress was not told tea party groups were being inappropriately targeted by the Internal Revenue Service, even after acting agency Chief Steven Miller had been briefed on the matter. Miller was first informed on May, 3, 2012, that applications for tax-exempt status by tea party groups were inappropriately singled out for extra scrutiny, the IRS said Monday. At least twice after the briefing, Miller wrote letters to members of Congress to explain the process of reviewing applications for tax-exempt status without disclosing that tea party groups had been targeted. On July 25, 2012, Miller testified

I rarely read editorials by the New York Times anymore, not because they’re liberal (Michael Kinsley is liberal and worth reading) but because they’re banal. I was reminded of this when I actually did read a recent Times editorial, in this case one titled “The Republicans’ Benghazi Obsession.” The editorial is worth referencing only to make a broader point, which is the dangers that can happen to journalists when they begin to view themselves as on a team rather than as individuals dedicated to unearthing truth (the role of reporters) or deepening the public’s understanding of issues

In the real world, Texas remains very much a part of the United States. But in the world of fiction, several authors have released books in the past year depicting the Lone Star State as a breakaway republic rebelling against shenanigans in Washington. It´s the start of a literary subgenre: secessionist fantasy. "The Secession of Texas" by Darrell Maloney of San Antonio envisions an independent Texas with its own border patrol, guarding against people trying to sneak into the country illegally—from Oklahoma. "Lone Star Daybreak" by Erik L. Larson of Houston tells the story of recruits

Memories: I always thought the number of Bill Clinton enemies audited by his Internal Revenue Service was a bit high to be coincidental.* When Clinton accuser Paula Jones was audited in 1997, Clinton’s press secretary Mike McCurry denied White House involvement: ”None whatsoever” … “We may do some dumb things from time to time but we are not certifiably insane,” Mr. McCurry said. ”The I.R.S. and the I.R.S. solely is the one that makes decisions about the enforcement of tax laws.” We now know, of course, that you don’t need direct White House involvement to politicize the IRS,

That sure didn’t take long. Secretary of State John Kerry and his Moscow counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, launched a new peace initiative for Syria on Tuesday; on Wednesday, Russia — ouch — undermined President Obama’s policies there. Just another week in the Kerry follies. The longtime Massaschusetts senator spent decades grooming himself to be America’s top diplomat. (Just visualize him rehearsing in front of the mirror.) He was praised as one of the most qualified nominees ever to head Foggy Bottom when his dream was finally realized Feb. 1. Regrettably, the tools of diplomacy that he’s practiced all those years

- It was a breezy summer day in Cleveland about a decade ago when Michelle "Shorty" Knight put on eyeglasses, blue shorts and a white T-shirt and went to see her cousin. Though she was 21, Knight became easily confused by her surroundings. Still, no one thought twice about her visiting family on that day in August 2002. Her mother believed that she suffered a mental disability. Even knowing that, what could go wrong? After all, the cousin lived near Lorain Avenue. But that day would be the last time the mother ever saw Knight. Her grandmother believed Knight

The rage over the burial of Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s remains was a fascinating study in how we regard the bodies that housed the spirits and souls of those who’ve departed. Sometimes we spread their ashes over sites of nostalgic remembrance, as if to posthumously maintain a visceral connection. Sometimes we adorn their graves with flowers, perhaps adding an inscription on their tombstones to convey a parting thought. On one such heart-shaped stone it was recently chiseled, “Absent from the body, present with the Lord.” But cemeteries can stir darker emotions, too, such as vows to “dance on your grave.”

On March 22, 2012, IRS commissioner Douglas Shulman testified under oath before the House Oversight Committee, which was inquiring as to whether the agency was targeting tea-party groups and other conservative organizations filing for tax-exempt status. He firmly and repeatedly denied that any such thing was happening. “There’s absolutely no targeting,” he said. A little over a year later, the IRS confirmed that it was in fact improperly targeting not only tea-party groups but also Jewish religious nonprofits and organizations inspired by Glenn Beck’s 9/12 Project. Call it “Oval Office Couch Syndrome.” By the second term “inside the bubble,” presidents have completely lost touch with reality: Aides and confidants conspire to keep the chief executive insulated from the real world — the bad news, the worse press coverage. They think it’s their job, and lounging on the Oval Office couches, they nod along with the president’s every musing. But this presidency has taken OOCS to new heights — Mr. Obama has only a few trusted aides, and occasional leaks from the West Wing show a paranoid president suspicious of nearly everyone around him.

The average American secondary student has an 11% chance of being suspended in a single school year, according to the study from the University of California Los Angeles Civil Rights project. However, if that student is black, the odds of suspension jump to 24%.

Janet Napolitano, Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, is on the list of potential Democratic presidential candidates compiled by the extraordinarily astute Prez16.com . As a cabinet secretary (and as a potential, if dark horse, presidential nominee) Madame Secretary should refrain from slurring the Drudge Report, as recently she did, a slur Drudge, confidently, featured. Drudge is no fan of Napolitano. He regularly tweaks her as “Big Sis” (presumably an allusion to George Orwell’s “Big Brother”). Drudge is one of the most powerful — and widely respected — forces in the news business today.

Politics! Politics! They’re playing politics in Washington! Pretending to be modern Paul Reveres, Democrats and their media handmaidens are doing their damnedest to diminish the Benghazi revelations with the cheapest trick in town. While there is always pungent hypocrisy when one gang of politicians accuses another gang of playing politics, the current phony outrage from the Obama Protection Society is exceptionally putrid. After all, the whole saga of Benghazi — before, during and after the terror attack — reflects nothing so much as the ultimate expression of Barack Obama’s politics.

The swooning teens will not accept allegations that the college kid — whom they refer to by his nickname, “Jahar” — and his brother, Tamerlan, 26, killed three and maimed hundreds by setting off bombs at the April 15 race. The GOP majority in the House is reaching for new heights of political absurdity this week with its 37th vote to kill all or part of the Affordable Care Act. Let us briefly turn to political reality. There is absolutely zero chance that ObamaCare will be repealed while Democrats control the Senate and President Obama is in the White House. Reality also compels some mention of the fact that the GOP has never held a vote on any alternative plan for dealing with the nation’s out-of-control healthcare spending. But reality is a nuisance to Congressional Republicans
