After being shot in the head and neck by Taliban gunmen on Tuesday, 14-year-old Pakistani blogger, Malala Yousafzai, is in critical condition today and will be transferred to a better equipped hospital. "Doctors have decided to shift Malala to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Rawalpindi where medical facilities are better," one doctor told the BBC, while another doctor, Mumtaz Khan, told the AFP Malala had a 70 percent chance of survival. Lt. Col. Junaid Khan, head of neurosurgery at the Peshawar hospital where Yousufzai was first treated, said she's in "critical" condition and is suffering

To anyone who thinks God would or should "Do something" about these evil people who share this planet with the rest of civilized nations; God does not work that way! He gave us our duty and guidance two thousand years ago! If evil, such as described in this story, roams the Earth, it has nothing to do with God and everything to do with US! We allow this. We have the power to deal with it. That we have failed our duty, our God given responsibility, is our own fault. Every day we let this cancer of evil in the name of a religion grow, the worse it will be come the day we are forced to deal with it. Think about it!

God has his/her finger on the smite button and can use it any time. Anyone who commands violence in the name of God is lying or delusional. We are free to pursue violence individually if we want, but the choice and the consequences of doing so (or not) are ours alone.

WASHINGTON - As the first Obamacare enrollment period comes to a close, U.S. insurers are already anticipating the need to raise prices for 2015 and fear that it will put them at the center of the political blame game over President Barack Obama´s healthcare law. The Obama administration declared victory on Tuesday over signing up more than 7 million people for this year, overcoming technology failures that stymied enrollment in the program´s early weeks and Republican efforts to discredit it in the eyes of consumers. MOSCOW — Even as American and Russian diplomats groped toward a settlement that would halt further Russian military intervention in Ukraine, Gazprom, the Russian energy company, stepped up the economic pressure on Tuesday by sharply raising the price it charges for natural gas. Gazprom, a state-controlled gas exporter, raised the price to $385 for 1,000 cubic meters of gas, the standard measure used in gas deals in Europe, from $268, an increase of 44 percent. The price increase follows what analysts say is a long practice at Gazprom of punitive pricing for countries in the former Soviet Union and Eastern
