Got Racism?
Townhall, by Ann Coulter

Original Article

Liberal racism sightings have become like a lunatic's version of "Where's Waldo?" Kevin Baker of Harper's magazine says Romney's referring to his "five boys" in last week's debate was how he "slyly found a way" to call Obama a "boy." Says Baker: "How the right's hard-core racists must have howled at that!" (Snip) Meanwhile, my new favorite actress, Stacey Dash, sends an inoffensive little tweet supporting Mitt Romney and is buried in tweets calling her "an indoor slave" and a "jiggaboo," who was "slutting (herself) to the white man." (And those were just the tweets from the Obama 2012

The Democrats have always been the party of racism. Agitating racial animosity, stirring up hatred, envy, and appealing to the Dark Side is what they do. Their founder, Jackson, forced the illegal removal of the Cherokees. They started a war to resist freeing the slaves, and when they lost, created the KKK as a terrorist group. They imposed a century of Jim Crow laws on the county, and when the tide of history once again went against them and Blacks were given equal civil rights, they then pretended they were the champions of civil rights and gave us affirmative action. Pandering to racial preferences, envy, class warfare is the only way they can gain power, because they have no other philosophy.
I rant about this because it's maddening that Ann Coulter is the only one who ever speaks about the racist history of the Dim party and their utter hypocrisy. The left pounds conservatives as racist and Blacks seem to think Lincoln was a Democrat. We should be constantly correcting the record ever time they bring it up.

I'm amazed at how the term "racism" has been redefined and expanded over the years. At first it was used by social scientists to cover certain restricted behaviors they had subjected to controlled studies. But then it became political and now it is simply a catch-all term used to denigrate the opposition.

The Democrat may no longer believe in God, the Constitution or even motherhood and apple pie, but he devoutly believes that somewhere out there Republicans are sitting in a sealed room and plotting to bring back the 50s. And if not the 50s, then at least the early 60s. The left accuses the right of being deeply paranoid. Meanwhile the left is convinced that every Republican sneeze is a racial putdown of America’s first black president since Bill Clinton.

MEDFORD, Ore. — Hauling a truckload of logs to a Southern Oregon mill last fall, Chris Hill noticed a sheriff’s deputy behind him and flashed his lights to warn a UPS driver coming the other way. The deputy pulled over Hill on U.S. Highway 140 in White City and handed him a $260 ticket for improperly using his headlights, saying another deputy had seen the flashing lights from behind the UPS truck and alerted him to stop the log truck because of the signaling. Outraged, Hill decided to fight the ticket, and on Wednesday, a Jackson County Justice Court judge

Shutting down a speaker, or a professor, or a book with which you strongly disagree is nothing new. Indeed, if there’s anything really new about Brandeis’ disinvitation to Ayaan Hirsi Ali, it’s that they invited her at all, no matter how briefly. If the school’s donors took freedom seriously, they’d cancel their contributions. But the key to understanding Brandeis is that it has been this way for half a century. Banning Ayaan is indeed the fulfillment of a famous call to censorship by one of the most famous leftist philosophers of the last century: Herbert Marcuse, a Brandeis professor who

Zeituni Onyango, President Obama´s illegal alien aunt, died this week of cancer and other complications. I hope she rests in peace. America, however, should be up in arms. Auntie Zeituni is an enduring symbol of all that is wrong with this country´s immigration "policy" -- or rather, its complete lack of a coherent, enforceable system of laws and rules that puts the national interest first. She was a beneficiary of the welfare state run amok, enabled by bipartisan fecklessness. To the bitter end, she bit the hand that fed her with predictable ingratitude and metastatic entitlement.

"How green bullying, junk science and EU lies killed off another successful industry," I wrote in a piece a few months back. The story went roughly like this: 1. Greenpeace and similar organisations decide to target chemicals industry. 2. They need a heartwarming poster species so they rope in bees. Bees become the new polar bear, about to die out any moment with catastrophic consequences for the world: no honey ever again; also, we all die because who will pollinate our crops? Bees are dying, Greenpeace and co decide, because of chemicals called "neonicotinoids".

When Brandeis University withdrew an honorary degree for Ayaan Hirsi Ali after a student-professor firestorm branded her an "Islamophobe," the campus in effect declared itself an outpost of Islamic law, American-style. Officially, Brandeis is now a place where critics of Islam -- "blasphemers" and "apostates," according to Islamic law -- are scorned and rejected. Not that Brandeis put it that way in its unsigned announcement about Hirsi Ali´s dis-invitation, which notes: "She is a compelling public figure and advocate for women´s rights, and we respect and appreciate her work to protect and defend the rights of women and girls throughout the

Recently, Copenhagen Zoo shot a young giraffe named Marius with a bolt gun, publicly dissected it—like a hanged criminal in eighteenth-century England—in front of children, and then fed the remains to the zoo’s lions. Marius was killed, the zoo said, because there was no space for him, his genes were already well represented in European breeding populations, and he was therefore a surplus animal. Despite offers from other zoos and even a private individual to take Marius, the Danish zoo wanted to avoid the possibility of inbreeding and thought that euthanasia was the best solution. A multiple stabbing attack by a lone perpetrator in a Pennsylvania school, in which more than 20 were wounded, has everyone crying for more metal detectors in schools, and for more guns in the hands of teachers, other school personnel and even students. Now, I’m a big proponent of an armed citizenry. I think an armed citizenry is one of the greatest, most effective deterrents to crime. But when I heard about this incident, my first thought was, “Whatsamatta, weren’t there any chairs in that school?” I believe this particular attack could have been curtailed without a single gun. Forty years is roughly the length of a working lifetime—and long enough for history to have taken some unexpected turns. And to have proved that long-term forecasts based on extrapolations of existing trends usually end up wide of the mark. The list of failed prophecies from the 1970s is rather long. The conventional wisdom of the time was more than usually unreliable. Example: the Club of Rome´s Limits to Growth report in 1972, predicting that the world was running out of oil and other natural resources. For a while that seemed right, as the 1973 and 1979 OPEC oil price hikes

The son of the Nevada rancher locked in an increasingly tense land dispute with the federal government, says their cowboys managed to break a blockade and retrieve around 30 head of cattle. Federal agents swooped on Tuesday after Cliven Bundy, dubbed the last remaining rancher in southern Nevada, refused to remove his herd of 900 cows from land he claims has been in his family since 1870. The heavily-armed federal agents, equipped with eight helicopters and backed-up by snipers, surrounded the Bundy ranch after the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) attained a federal court order to confiscate the family´s herd. Following the massacre of grammar-school children in Newtown, Conn., in December 2012, high-powered weapons have been used to kill innocent victims in more senseless public incidents. Those killings, however, are only a fragment of the total harm caused by the misuse of firearms. Each year, more than 30,000 people die in the United States in firearm-related incidents. Many of those deaths involve handguns. The adoption of rules that will lessen the number of those incidents should be a matter of primary concern to both federal and state legislators.
