| Sanaa, Yemen – Yemeni security officials say a gunman has assassinated the Yemeni chief of security at the U.S. Embassy in Sanaa. The officials say Qassem Aqlani, who was in his fifties, was shot dead while on his way to work early on Thursday. They say a gunman on a motorcycle opened fire at him and fled the scene. Aqlani had been working for the U.S. Embassy in the Yemeni capital for nearly 20 years. The Yemeni officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media. American embassies have become a total joke.They say the budget doesn't allow for beefed up security but hillary can still get her $100 bottle of wine every night and stay in 5 star hotels.I's laugh myself into a coma if she got attacked.

HA! that's rich. Yesterday in front is the Issa committee, Ms. Lamb said that the security for Benghazi was modeled after the American Embassy security in Sana'a. That seems to be working well too--NOT!

The density of her and her superior Kennedy's minds was frightening. Cubicle thinking that is cramped into models, formulas, bean-counting.
It was especially revealing when security person Eric Norwood told the committee that his pay had been raised due to "increased hazard" when the SST security people were removed from Benghazi. They did not want pay raises; they wanted to be protected.

Cyprus postponed for yet another day an emergency parliamentary session to discuss a bailout plan that will see the country´s bank depositors share part of the burden, the house speaker said Monday. The Cypriot parliament is now scheduled to meet Tuesday at 1600 GMT, house speaker Yannakis Omirou told reporters. The parliament had been due to meet Monday at 1400 GMT as the government sought to push the levy through parliament before banks reopened Tuesday after a three-day bank holiday. The vote delay means that the bank holiday will likely be extended for at least another day.
