Obama Camp Wants to Talk
Social Issues at VP Debate --
Will Moderator Oblige?

Breitbart Big Journalism, by John Nolte

Original Article

Don't misunderstand me, there's no question that abortion and other social issues are perfectly valid topics of discussion at a vice presidential debate. But over and over and over again, during the GOP primary debates, we watched the media obsess over divisive social issues that rank somewhere around zero on the list of voter priorities in this election. (Snip) After foolishly running on Big Bird for five days, the Obama campaign made a wicked left-turn this morning with a hastily arranged conference call. You can read about it here. The call was all about pushing the media

Martha will be happy to ask any question you want, Joe. Just send it over like the rest of them.

Oh, and if she hadn't already done so, I guess she thanks the Obamas for the little trinket they left at her wedding.

The Founders did not envision a massive bureaucratic machine toying with social issues as something devoutly to be wished for.(sorry to leave the preposition at the end of the sentence)

Well... actually they envisioned something like that, and they warned us about totalitarianism. This is because they studied history, and political systems IN history, not just theoretical systems such as a Marxist utopia.

Wouldn't it be nice if our Candidates would state the truth, that social issues are not supposed to be the purvue of the Federal Government.

Martha will probably do whatever the Obama camp wants. After all, the Obamas were at her wedding to Julius Genachowski, Obama-appointed head of the FCC, in 1991.

They're social friends, so why not talk social issues?

The problem with that approach is that Paul Ryan's last name is not Atkins.

I believe that he could answer the questions in a way that makes people see how evil the demonratic positions on social issues are

I have no doubt ABC and the Dims are plotting to sandbag Ryan...Ryan needs to beware and comeback fighting when he sees it. I hope he calls out the witch from ABC and refuse to play her game. Americans will love it when Ryan takes her and Joe to school and kicks their 'como se llama'.

Government experts believe there is still a risk of people contracting variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (vCJD) through blood transfusions, as about 30,000 Britons are likely to be carrying the brain-wasting illness in a dormant form — double the previous estimate. They warn the current total death toll of 176 from vCJD could rise more than five-fold as the infection has not been wiped out of the blood supply like it has been in the food chain. Frank Dobson, a former health secretary, tonight urged ministers to develop a nationwide screening programme for blood donors to stop future infections of vCJD,

On the night of the West fertilizer plant explosion, the American Red Cross quickly arranged to open a shelter at a local campground. Not a single person showed up. That fact is a reflection of how tight-knit the West community is, said Mark Felton, executive director of the Red Cross’ Heart of Texas chapter. Most people affected by the tragedy were quickly offered shelter by friends or family, and that’s where the majority of them remain, he said. Nancy Shelton, for example, said the bedroom ceiling of the home she leases in West fell in after the explosion.

WASHINGTON — Russian authorities secretly recorded a telephone conversation in 2011 in which one of the Boston bombing suspects vaguely discussed jihad with his mother, officials said Saturday, days after the U.S. government finally received details about the call. In another conversation, the mother of now-dead bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev was recorded talking to someone in southern Russia who is under FBI investigation in an unrelated case, officials said. The conversations are significant because, had they been revealed earlier, they might have been enough evidence for the FBI to initiate a more thorough investigation of the Tsarnaev family.
