Right outraged Obama attended
VP debate moderator's wedding

The Hill [Washington DC], by Brendan Sasso

Original Article

Posted By:JoniTx, 10/10/2012 1:06:42 PM

ABC News confirmed on Wednesday that President Obama was a guest at the 1991 wedding of ABC senior foreign affairs correspondent Martha Raddatz, who is set to moderate the vice presidential debate on Thursday night. The news, which was first reported by the conservative website The Daily Caller, prompted howls of disapproval from conservatives, who questioned whether Raddatz will be a neutral moderator. In a statement, an ABC spokesman called accusations that Raddatz has a conflict of interest "absurd." There is no evidence that Obama and Raddatz are close, but the president is friends with her now-ex-husband, Julius Genachowski.

This is the tip of the iceberg. There is widespread collusion between the media and the Democrat Party. It goes back a long way and it's worse than ever.

It's possible this might work in our favor - because maybe Martha will bend over backwards to appear fair to our side.

Keep her on, now that the coziness is public knowledge. It should make her more honest; if not, then the public will be very attuned to any favoritism.

This is a silly distraction and makes us look foolish. The wedding was 21 years ago.

It's perfectly shocking that collusion is going on among members of the media and government. Radditz cozy with democrat political figures? Ha ha. But seriously, I think the issue is moot. Biden is beyond any help the media could ever give him. The media even failed to prop up the One, so how can 'lil 'ole Martha save Joe, especially with this info. out there. Unless J.B. gets a brain transplant between now and the debate, I'm going with Ryan, and even then...

Poster 5, I disagree. It puts spotlight on lefty raddatz. She may make an effort to make it look fair to avoid criticism from GOP. This story, which abc tried to bury, also adds evidence to GOP narrative regarding overwhelming media bias, and, as poster 1 noted, the "widespread collusion" between democrats and media whores.

A "silly distraction"...I think not! I've attended several weddings 20 plus years ago and I still have minimal if not nominal contact with those people. Even worse for PurpleLipps is that this Raddish broad's husband - some Genachowski??? - is a big friend of PurpleLipps. I believe that he even is in some appointed position. So chalking this up to just some silly distraction is to our peril. Rice Prius, John Boner, and how about that other supreme idiot Mitchell McClownal of the Senate should be booming this across the airwaves NON STOP until and through Thursday. This is the reason that I DO NOT give to the RNC. It's the constant sound of crickets whenever there is something as significant as this.

Reply 11 - Posted by: tisHimself, 10/10/2012 1:36:15 PM     (No. 8923340)

The mashie has it right. She can't sucker punch Ryan with any questions and if for some reason Biden exceeds modest expectations, the story still becomes media cheerleading, not VP competency.

And to bring it out before, not after the debate, nice!

Kudos to the negative ops people in the Romney camp for catching this and delivering it at the right time.

And simply - Why didn't the Republicans insist on a more balanced set of moderators?

Bringing this association out into the open may encourage the moderator to be a bit more honest and objective. That's a weak maybe. And I have to agree that to the on this point regarding a distant association will seem petty.

We all know about the incestuous relationship between Obama-Democrats and the Big Media (BM). The alternative media's most important duty is to point out the nexus between the Evil Party and its "professional" cheering section in the press. With luck we can get rid of the Won and cripple the BM. (My thanks to Dr. Wheeler for that moniker.)

Paul should come out and put a red phone on the podium. Then when he gets teased about if it's there in case he has to "phone a friend" he can tell them "No, it's simply there in case I have to call BS on either shovel-ready prepared statements or leading questions.!"

Raddatz needs to make a statement regarding this revelation tomorrow night before the debate begins. The nation needs to know of her possible bias before she asks the first question.

Raddatz: Some people say you love your hobby of baby killing and are not even ashamed of being an inveterate capitalist?

Paul Ryan: That is a preposterous...

Raddatz: [in a loud voice] LALALA NANANA etc.

Raddatz: Mr. Vice President, of course you realize how jealous we all are of your position so close to the heavenly one.

Biden: Bla Bla Bla [for 5 minutes]

Raddatz: How fascinating, please go on, Mr. Vice President. If you don't mind, I would love to touch you or at least grovel at your feet.

Biden: [picking his nose, contemplatively] GM died and Obama lied. Or the opposite. Whatever. Maybe it was Osama. Always get those 2 mixed up.

And so on.

NYT declares Paul Ryan lost.

I don´t mean in a Nazis vs Communists, Hitler vs Stalin, way. I mean in a moderate way: Conservative activists vs Labour activists, you might say. It´s difficult to imagine Conservative activists behaving like the people who celebrated Margaret Thatcher´s death in Glasgow and Brixton. That´s partly because it´s hard to think of any Left-wing leader who had as powerful an effect on the country as she did. But, still, between them, Harold Wilson and Jim Callaghan – with quite a lot of help from Edward Heath – led to a disastrous decline in British fortunes in the 1970s,

These mind-boggling images capture the scale of soaring apartment blocks in one of the world´s most densely populated areas; Hong Kong. As home to a population of more than seven million crammed into an area measuring just 424 square miles, space in Hong Kong is at a premium. It means that, when it comes to providing accommodation for Hong Kong´s huge population, the only way to go is up. The result is the soaring high-rise buildings captured to incredible effect by German photographer Michael Wolf in his project Architecture of Density.

While they said Obama “deserves some credit” for including entitlement reforms in his spending blueprint, they said the president shouldn’t hold the plan “hostage” in the debate over tax revenues. “While the president has backtracked on some of his entitlement reforms that were in conversations that we had a year and a half ago, he does deserve some credit for come incremental entitlement reforms that he has outlined in his budget,” Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) told reporters Wednesday

The U.S. Postal Service on Wednesday said it will delay a cost-cutting plan to end Saturday mail delivery, following congressional action that blocked the effort. Congress passed a temporary federal spending bill last month including language that prevents the agency -- which lost $15.9 billion last year -- from going to a Monday-to-Friday mail delivery schedule. The agency, which wanted to begin the new schedule Aug. 5, said the decision was made Tuesday by its board of governors. “By including restrictive language in the Continuing Resolution, Congress has prohibited implementation of a new national delivery schedule,”

President Obama´s budget plan would increase taxes by $580 billion over the next decade, but it relies on many proposals that have been repeatedly rejected by Congress. Some were rejected as recently as January, when Congress voted to make permanent a series of tax cuts first enacted under President George W. Bush. Among them, a proposal to limit itemized deductions for high-income families. One new proposal is a 94 cents-a-pack increase in the cigarette tax. The tax would raise an estimated $78 billion over the next decade to pay for early childhood education.
