| Tomorrow marks the beginning of a major Congressional hearing on the terror attack In Libya and in a desperately transparent attempt to get ahead of damaging news, at the very last minute tonight, the State Department finally came clean: In other words, absolutely everything we were told by our government -- by President Obama, Secretary of State Clinton, Ambassador Susan Rice. White House Spokesman Jay Carney, and any number of staffers and surrogates -- was 100% false. There were no protests, no benign crowds exploited by local militias, and nothing had anything to do with a video.

Get the popcorn, folks.
Can't wait for VP BiteMe Biden to explain this to the nation on live TV.
FOX had it on a few minutes ago; but I'm not holding my breath to hear it on the morning national LSM.
No wonder BiteMe as been in a locked away room all week.

Headline is wrong, the State Department came partially clean this evening, not the WH. There is a reason Jay Carney has not held a briefing in 15 days and why he won't until after the elections: Not asked, don't have to lie.

I wonder what advice Bill's giving Hillary on how to handle this. The words of the US military officer (I'm sorry, his name escapes me) about being recalled, despite asking for additional security, were devastating enough.
This raises the whole sorry mess to a whole new level.

I almost would not mind seeing Obama re-elected now. He would be impeached and thrown out of office, along with Bite-Me, Hillary, Holder and most of the czars. The speaker of the house would become president. Hey, that will be a Republican!

So within hours everyone up to and including the President knew that their Al Qaeda allies who overthrew Gadaffi were the ones that carried out the attack on the consulate and killed the ambassador. Panic sets in and they concoct a story about an obscure videotape and non-existent mob and send Rice, et al, to the media to sell it to the world. The problem is there is no hiding what an absolute disaster 0bama and Hillary's MENA policy has been.

Im still waiting for THE PRESS to come clean and report the FACTS. I'm still waiting for the "press" to apologize to Romney. I'm still waiting for the "press" to admit that Romney was correct and that he "didnt jump the gun"
Im still waiting for the "pres" to cover "Fast & Furious". I'm still waiting for the "press" to vett the pResident instead of carrying his water.
I expect that Hell will freeze over before the dems and the press will ever be honest.
The closest that we will get in this instance is Hillary throwing Obama under the bus, before he does it to her.

When you follow the timeline of this debacle....embassy bombed, withdraw security, ambassador shot at, withdraw security, another bombing more security withdrawn....it makes you wonder why obama needed this ambassador killed. And we have such a corrupt/weak congress, NO ONE, certainly not obama, will pay the price. And obama's figures will still hover around the 45% mark.

Again, point fingers at msm too..they were all over Mitt Romney, attempting to destroy him for speaking out (with the truth).
“This latest assault cannot be blamed on a reprehensible video insulting Islam, despite the administration’s attempts to convince us of that for so long,” Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney said Monday.

I think this will be devastating to Obama.
More and more people are peeling off all the time (Laura Logan is a conspicuous example) and I think a lot more are "on the fence".
Allowing American citizens, including an AMBASSADOR, to be killed is beyond the pale, and IMHO, will drive many others into Romney's camp.

Well let's not start doing a victory dance just yet. Don't underestimate Democrat tenacity and cleverness. With the Media on their side they are capable of anything between now and election day. However, it does appear that this Libya scandal is the final nail in this administration's coffin. What Obama, Biden, Clinton, Rice, Reid and Pelosi have done is beyond shameful.

I still think the video was part of a false flag to stir up unrest in Egypt and allow Obama to step in and "save the day" and look strong before the election. (But, the fools never counted on an attack in Libya.) As reported on the Smoking Gun, Sam Bacile was a federal informant since his drug conviction in 2010 and received very brief sentences in the federal pen for his drug and identity theft convictions. When the questions started flying, the gubmint hid Sam away. Now, the whole incompetent State Dept. will take a fall, hopefully along with Obama.

Obama is trying so hard to have it both ways.. stay clear of any controversy concerning the tragedy in Libya, but taking credit for ending the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Anyone else think he has caused more unrest by touting the story of the video? And how in heavens name can the State Department now come out and say they never believed it to begin with?? If they dont get hot in this hearing today, I give up.
Romney needs to jump all over this. Let the idiot talk about big bird.. its the highest level of management he is capable of discussing.

The facts need much wider circulation. There are too many people who don't know about this and are still in a dreamworld about Obama. Yesterday, I was asked if I wanted to help out the Obama campaign by making phone calls on his behalf. Two dems were saying how he has been an "absolutely fabulous" president who has done an incredible job. They gave the number one reason as his "foreign policy," and his having secured our position in the world; number two was "Social Security and Medicare," and number three was "women." They are totally ignorant of Bengazi and Fast and Furious. They were "very depressed" about the debate and said, "We've got to do something."

3 weeks of lies is justification for removal from office. Debate questions should start with where did the Stimulus money go, the nearly trillion dollars that went to Congressional districts and zip-codes that didn't exist. Joe was our guardian. Second set of questions should involve resolution of conflict in Afghanistan. Does he have some brilliant ideas like splitting the country? Third question is how they decide to trust our friends. So far, our soldiers and ambassadors are taking heavy losses from our friends.

I don't know what to expect at the next Presidential debate. It's a town hall and I think Obama won't be pressed by goofy questions. The only way Romney can push him is if he's allowed to improvise like he did before. I expect the moderator to not allow it but since a female moderator is a historical first so who knows.
"Second presidential debate Topic: Town meeting format on foreign and domestic issues. In the town meeting format, citizens will ask questions of the candidates on foreign and domestic issues. Candidates each will have two minutes to respond, and an additional minute for the moderator to facilitate a discussion. The town meeting participants will be undecided voters selected by the Gallup Organization."

Its more likely the time will be used to repeatedly make Ryan explain his stance on a woman's right to murder, er, I mean, choice her baby to death, er, I mean women's reproductive rights.

I doubt the media is going to be asking any tough questions, but I would think someone in the MSM is just a little curious as to why they made up the story about the video, and then went on 5 networks to sell the lie, and kept selling it for 2 weeks. Those lies created an uproar all over the middle east that caused destruction and loss of life.
Can anyone here please tell me what we can do to stop the media from putting blinders on everytime something happens that could harm Obama. The media is covering the facts of a terrorist attack and the killing of our citizens. We should be outraged to the point of rioting in the streets. Why do we allow a media to go to the extent they did to dig dirt to destroy Sarah Palin and not follow an attack on our country that we are being lied to by the highest office in our land. Good grief, wake up America!

Why are Americans not demanding that Obama be put in jail for willful lying, then going to a party so he could walk out with some bags of cash after shucking and jiving in Las Vegas

Where have John Boehner and Mitch McConnell been regarding the foreign policy blunder at Benghazi? Not a word from either. Those two nincompoops never have anything to say about anything.
Boehner`s `leadership` position needs to be seriously challenged after the election. This man cannot be allowed to remain Speaker. As for `Deer in the Headlights` McConnell, he looks less like a future Majority Leader and more like someone`s chemistry teacher.
These two nitwits may as well be democrats. They seem to care about nothing but the legislative `process`.

So much for Hillary's (and Susan Rice, and Barack Obama, and Jay Carney's, etc.,) story about a demonstration crescendoing into a violent attack over a youtube trailer.

Of course anyone seeing Muslim terrorists firing rockets into our Libya consulate would know this wasn't a normal Muslim protest over bad American movies, nor one over our hefty Secretary of State not covering her face, but a real live hate America attack. (pictured in my mind...her greasy tangled mess of hair). Never once, that I can recall, did she mention the murder of the Ambassador or the 3 others. If they lie about terrorism and the attack in Libya and incompetence from top to bottom in the Sad State Department and White Trash House, what makes you think they aren't lying about the recent unemployment statistics. Hmmmmmm???? This reminds me of the movie "Chicago". They both went for the gun! Spin the lie and alibi in the press and soon it's front page news. In this case the lie and alibi was it's the film that made them do it! Now the lawyers and puppeteers start tap dancing and singing.

As I've said before, if the Mulatto Kid, the VP, the Sec of State Hitlery, Susan Rice, Carney, etc. have their mouths open, they are lying. It seems endemic with that Democrap bunch.
I wouldn't believe them if they told me my house was on fire in front of my very eyes. They lie for CYA purposes as they don't want to take the responsibility.

Side note. Hillary looks like h*ll. She's morphing into Madeline Halfbright.

Not only did they lie about what happened in Libya but their continuous mention of a stupid video gave heathens an excuse daily to riot, destroy property and burn our beloved flag. Time to clean house.

Democratic Party officials believe that Kevin Strouse is exactly the kind of candidate who can help them retake the House next year. He’s a smart, young former Army Ranger — good qualities for any aspiring politician. But what party leaders really like is that Strouse doesn’t have particularly strong views on the country’s hottest issues. Immigration? Tax policy? “Certainly I have a lot of research to do,” Strouse acknowledged in an interview Thursday as he announced his candidacy in a suburban Philadelphia House district. Strouse’s candidacy reflects an emerging

KAUFMAN, Tex. — The judge was on the phone. “Yep, I said I’ll do anything,” Bruce Wood told the person on the other end, rubbing his forehead. “They asked me to do a eulogy. I don’t know what I’m going to say.” Elsewhere in the Kaufman County Courthouse, a sheriff’s deputy was handing out bulletproof vests. “I brought the smallest one,” he said to a secretary, who stared at the khaki armor as he explained how to adjust the side straps should the need arise. “These have the neck for a female.” Outside, two armed guards

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank

Well, not intentionally. But Jim Ragsdale of the Minneapolis Star Tribune attended a conference in Chicago on covering gun issues, which he describes this way: “Covering Guns” brought reporters with front-line experience covering mass shootings in Tucson, Ariz.; Aurora, Colo.; Newtown, Conn., and Red Lake, Minn., to meet with gun experts and advocates and gun trainers. Sponsored by the Poynter journalism center and funded by the McCormick Foundation of Chicago, we gathered in a city that witnessed 506 homicides last year. The idea, I take it

Carbon emissions in the US were at their lowest level in 2012 since 1994, according to figures released by the US Energy Information Administration. We did it without carbon trading scams, the EPA making carbon dioxide a poison, or obeying the dictates of the Kyoto climate Treaty. We did it partly because of decreased economic activity as a result of the Obama recovery-that-isn’t, but mostly because of good old fashioned market forces; competition between natural gas and coal: Energy-related carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions in 2012 were the lowest in the United States since 1994

When I tell campus horror-stories like “What’s the Matter With Vassar?” people ask if parents know what’s going on at these schools. I don’t think they want to know. But guess what happens when protesters step on others’ rights in full view of parents? Tufts has one of the most active campus fossil-fuel divestment groups. Lately these protesters have been infiltrating orientation sessions and campus tours for prospective students, mostly high school juniors traveling with their parents. Climate protesters interrupt these recruitment activities with questions

It is amazing just how wrong economists were in their predictions for the number of jobs that were to be created in March. The “consensus” figure was 200,000 — a far cry from the actual number created which was 88,000. Totally “unexpected,” as usual. In one way, you can’t blame them. After a better than average gain in February of 236,000 (revised upward this month to 268,000), along with some positive numbers in housing and consumer spending, there were no doubt many analysts who began breathing a sigh of relief and believing that the long-awaited jobs recovery was upon us.

Rich Lowery in the New York Post (4-02-2013) accuses the liberals of being the new climate deniers, considering that they don´t recognize that there´s been no global warming for the last fifteen years. This shouldn´t surprise Lowery. When the liberals hang onto the neck of a cause, they don´t let go. They have ignored murders, rapes, wars, nuclear proliferation, and everything wrong with the world to focus in on their little area -- the horror of carbon emissions. You´d think liberals would have learned from their earlier panic about overpopulation

We know Johns Hopkins University is devoted to diversity, because it says so. Its “Diversity and Inclusion Statement,” a classic of the genre, says the university is “committed to sharing values of diversity and inclusion .?.?. by recruiting and retaining a diverse group of students.” Hopkins has an Office of Institutional Equity and a “Diversity Leadership Council” that defines “inclusion” as “active, thoughtful and ongoing engagement with each other.” Unless you are a member of Voice for Life (VFL), an antiabortion group. President Obama will propose a budget next week that embraces a risky strategy of courting Republicans for a grand bargain on the debt while angering Democratic allies with cuts to the nation’s entitlement programs. White House officials said Friday that Obama’s budget would cut Medicare and Social Security and ask for less tax revenue than he has previously sought. The budget, to be released Wednesday, will fully incorporate the offer Obama made to House Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) during December’s “fiscal cliff” talks — which included $1.8 trillion in deficit reduction through spending cuts and tax increases.

But in the months since, the gun rights group has made itself impossible for the Alaska Democrat, and many other lawmakers, to resist. Begich has signed on as a co-sponsor of a bill, drafted in consultation with the NRA, that would change the way mental illness is reported in the background check system — a measure that critics say

They´re starting to grow out, get a little irritating.´ Still, she hasn´t let her hairdo woes get her down. ´It´s okay,´ she said after her initial complaint. ´We´ll be good.´ The first indication that her hairstyle was becoming a burden came about last weekend, when Malia, 14, was spotted adjusting her mother´s hair during the White House Easter Egg Roll.

President Obama´s biggest gaffe yesterday when speaking of California Attorney General Kamala Harris was not in flirtatiously complimenting her as "the best-looking attorney general," but in introducing an observation from the system of beauty into a forum that was about the system of power. What´s that, you say? Irin Carmon does a great job in Salon in laying out the bounds of propriety for when it´s appropriate to talk about a woman´s looks as a general matter. But I´ve long felt we lack a solid theoretical underpinning for easily discussing these issues, and why precisely it is that

No one is more preoccupied these days with Hillary Clinton´s 2016 plans than the Beltway political class—not even the former presidential candidate herself. To hear some tell it, her decision will be dispositive for all other Democrats thinking of entering the race. And pundits and reporters aren´t the only ones positing the "The Hillary Factor": No less than the House Democratic whip, Steny Hoyer, told BuzzFeed, “I don´t know that anybody would run against Hillary…. If she runs, she clears the field.” It´s an understandable conclusion, given Clinton´s stature in the Democratic Party and her 70 percent

On Friday, Sean Hannity brought Pat Smith, mother of the late Sean Smith, on his radio program. The 34-year-old information management officer was one of four Americans murdered in the Benghazi embassy attack on September 11, 2012. In the chilling interview, a distraught Ms. Smith, in tears, pleaded for answers and spoke of the efforts to silence her. Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,

But really she’s something much more interesting: a traitor to her class. Her betrayal consists of being gauche enough to acknowledge publicly a truth that everyone who’s come up through Ivy League culture knows intuitively —

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”
