Scott Rasmussen-Chuck Todd
feud continues [Video]

Daily Caller, by Jeff Poor

The feud between pollster Scott Rasmussen and NBC White House correspondent Chuck Todd flared up again Tuesday when Todd criticized Rasmussen’s polling as “slop” in comparison to NBC’s polling. “We spend a lot more money polling than Scott Rasmussen does,” Todd said on CNBC’s “Squawk Box. “These guys are the gold standard. We spend so much money. So, it is unfair — I hate the idea their polling, which is rigorously done, has to get compared to what is, in some cases, you know, slop.” In an appearance on Fox News Channel’s “America Live”

President Barack Obama warned yesterday at a private home in Miami that Democrats "get clobbered" in midterm elections. "[T]he problem is not that the American people disagree with us on the issues. The challenge is, is that our politics in Washington have become so toxic that people just lose faith and finally they just say, you know what, I’m not interested, I’m not going to bother, I’m not going to vote," Obama told donors. "And that’s especially true during the midterms. During presidential elections, young people vote, women are more likely to vote, blacks, Hispanics more likely to vote. And suddenly a

Russia´s swift annexation of Crimea created ripple effects that extend well beyond Ukraine, fundamentally redefining the relationship between Washington and Moscow. Vladimir Putin´s land grab undermined President Obama´s so-called "reset" with Russia, leaving the White House appearing weak and incapable of deterring the Kremlin´s aggression. While Obama slowly expanded sanctions against individuals and laid the groundwork for hitting key sectors of Russia’s economy, critics questioned if he could land a counter punch that would draw blood. Analysts said Obama is now operating in a completely different diplomatic world and will have to rethink his foreign policy assumptions. “This is a game-changer for the

The decision of Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane to drop the investigation and potential prosecution of Philadelphia Democrats who were recorded accepting cash, money orders, or jewelry certainly seems suspicious. According to news reports, investigators collected over 400 hours of audio and video of five Democrats, including four state lawmakers, before Kane, also a Democrat, secretly killed the investigation last fall. When confronted with this troubling story by the Philadelphia Inquirer, Kane cited racism and mismanagement in the investigation, but the detailed descriptions of the recordings certainly seem to indicate that the payments were made. Liberals can rationalize away anything in the name of discrimination against minorities. Even national sovereignty. The Corruption Chronicles blog of Judicial Watch reports: A Homeland Security initiative to put fencing along the U.S.-Mexico border could discriminate against minorities, according to an Obama-appointed federal judge who’s ruled that the congressionally-approved project may have a “disparate impact on lower-income minority communities.” This of course means that protecting the porous—and increasingly violent—southern border is politically incorrect. At least that’s what the public college professor at the center of the case is working to prove and this month she got help from a sympathetic federal judge.

Is Barack Obama simply too busy to be Chief Executive of the United States? Apparently. One of the primary functions of the president is to keep the nation safe, to preserve it from its enemies. To do that effectively, one would actually have to maintain something of a consistent level of attention to the moving pieces that directly influence how future events will unfold. None other than the truly sycophantic thinks for a second that President Obama cares a whit for anything that does not involve fundamentally altering the social composition of this country. Or golf.
