Obama Defiantly Declares 'Al

After Successful Terrorist Attacks

Weekly Standard, by Daniel Halper

Last night, President Obama defiantly declared that "al Qaeda is on its heels." The president made this claim at a fundraiser at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, California. "Now, four years ago, I made a few commitments to you. I told you I’d end the war in Iraq, and I did. I said I’d end the war in Afghanistan, and we are," said Obama. "I said we’d refocus on the people who actually attacked us on 9/11 -- and today, al Qaeda is on its heels and Osama bin Laden is no more." The extraordinary

Comments:
It is shocking and disgraceful that this pathological liar continues to behave like this and in doing so threatens our national security.

He is in denial. He doesn't realize that the political winds have shifted as a result of the debate, and that the same old schtick just isn't cutting it. The schtick that used to work, it ain't working no more. In the (approximate) words of Warren Zevon, his schtick's f****d up. But it is all he has to offer. He cannot change. He can only do more of the same thing. If he were a vaudeville act, it would be time for the hook to yank him off the stage. The election is the next best way to rid the nation of this pest.

So all the blood and treasure spilt in Iraq is being wasted so Obama could say he got all our troops out... Write off the hard core Leftists and the low information supporters, of course. But it does give one pause the amount of rationalization and denial to be an average Obama supporter these days. And it gets worse by the day.

With actions like shutting down the WH daily briefing, you can see that that Obama and his corrupt, disinforming crew just want to somehow, someway make it to Nov 7 without a complete meltdown. I don't think they can play off BenghaziGate for four weeks. If Romney and the Republicans let them run out the clock this multdimensional Libyan outrage, then they deserve to lose. Not a game changer, Benghazi and should be a game ender for The One.

If you, or your workplace, are still using Windows XP, it’s time to move on. Microsoft will officially end support for the 2001-vintage platform on April 8, 2014, just shy of a year from now. That means no more service packs, no more updates and, most importantly, no more security patches. Windows users generally receive periodic updates from Microsoft via its Windows Update service. These fixes often patch irregular behavior in the operating system. More importantly, they plug vital flaws in the OS´s security, preventing hackers and exploiters from running roughshod over private PCs.

Controversial gun legislation cleared a key Senate hurdle Thursday, as lawmakers voted 68-31 to start debate on the package which includes expanded background checks and new penalties for gun trafficking. Senate Democrats, joined by a few Republicans, were able to overcome an attempted filibuster by more than a dozen senators opposed to the current bill. Those senators could still slow-walk the debate, but the Senate will ultimately begin votes on amendments -- one of which is considered crucial to winning support for a final vote.
