All Ryan needs is a draw. He should just be himself, do what he does, not underestimate Biden, and not overplay his hand. His job is only to consolidate what Romney did last week.

I watched part of the Palin-Biden debate from 2008, and I thought Sarah mopped the floor with old joe.
But most of the media said Old Joe won.
So no matter what happens this goaround, I expect most of the media to say Old Joe won again.

Calling Biden a mental midget is an insult to midgets. Ryan will wipe the floor with him and not break a sweat, they should have sent plugs to the Nickelodeon gig where he would be on a level playground.

This is precisely the moment why so many of us wanted Ryan on the ticket. To explain and defend the fiscal plan of the GOP. I want him to take it to Joe, whoop on him upside the head. No playing it safe, don't let up, run these clowns out of town.

One of the few missed opportunities in the Romney/0 debate was when 0 bashed Paul Ryan’s budget plan (for lacking “details”).
It was a big fat slowball for Romney to smash, but he passed on it. Ryan needs to point out that his budget plan has passed the House more than once with bi-partisan support, only to be kicked under a chair in the Democrat Senate. 0-bama’s budget proposals were so abhorrent that not a single member of either party was willing to vote in favor. There is nothing wrong with pointing out this absurdity - loudly.

While I think Ryan will do well against Biden we must caution ourselves and not get to confident and end-up having a debate performance like Obama had last week which is what the MSM is looking for to boost O back up. We are, after all, dealing with the dirtiest people(dem's & MSM) on earth lol

If Biden is still breathing at the end of the debate the MSM is going to declare him the winner, I am sure the undecided voters they pick for their panels will be totally fair and unbiased... NOT

While both the Obama and Romney team's spin before the first debate was that their guy would do poorly, the Leftards are now shouting about Biden's wonderfulness 24/7.

Talk about puffing themselves up for a fall...

Ryan is a sincere person with a solid & responsible plan to work from regarding restoring America's promise for the future.

Biden is a typical pompous dem pol with decades of perfecting his smart aleck schtick.

My observation : the RvO debate gave the LSM a huge cause to suck in the breath and hold ‘til blue in utter astonishment that they could no longer prop up the empty chair. The evaluations on the day after were practically bland in disillusionment and confusion while pundits struggled with the words they needed to “explain” the disaster everyone who saw it already knew about. Finally, on the second day, the dam burst as the conservative commentators gushed with excitement and the liberals began exclaiming, “Please, Ø, say it ain’t so!”

The R v B debate will be a closely watched event as the liberals come into it with baited breath, knowing their boy Joe is so prone to breaking a verbal bone at the most inopportune moment(s). Ryan is a word master, a debating champion with a mind like a steel trap and a memory that can challenge a whole herd of elephants. He is also outlandishly clever and courageous, with a borderline mean streak in him. Biden, on the other hand, is a real hip shooter and not known for mental discipline. Biden is also capable of young boyish impishness in debates, a trait that leads him often down blind paths of logic and point making. He is also prone to ramble, quite easily losing himself in his own mental wanderings. The one thought that many liberals and Ø supporters have is hope that Joe can somehow come up with a strong surprise “Gotcha” moment that will quash all that Ryan might assemble against him. That is highly unlikely when you consider all the powers Ryan will bring to the podium, and the lit fused potential disasters Biden will bring. Biden’s best strategy would be to simply call in sick at the last minute before air time.

My prediction is that after the shellacking Obama took last week Biden will come out aggressive, arrogant and obnoxious. And being the mental midget that he is, he will fill the airwaves with idiocy like you have never seen before. Ryan may not get a word in edgewise - but he may not need to. Stand up Chuck!

Martha Raddatz has been in bed (as Biden would say..."literally") with NPR, The Washington Post, and the FCC (only counting current and ex husbands there...I suspect she's got a few more notches on the gunstock).

So with her at the helm aware of the dire situation in Camp Obama, I predict she will overreach to put a muzzle on Ryan. It'll look petty, unprofessional, and pre-determined.

And I cannot wait! Pass the popcorn.

The only hope Biden has is a sympathy vote of sorts

He might be able to pull off looking like every-bodies favorite crazy uncle Joe.

Otherwise Ryan needs to be careful to not look like a bully. That could be tough when he has to as Joe to take shoes off to count to 20

Just recall what Romney did to 0bama, showing that he doesn't understand economics or what's going on. How easy should that be for Ryan to do with Biden?

Biden will step in it. I don't know how, but this gaffe-a-matic will lose no matter how many excuses the media makes for him.

Slow Joe's best strategy for this debate will be to take a lot of Anti-Diarrheal medication prior. Or, just call in sick.

Second, he then needs to remember to never face away from the camera to prevent the wide streaks down his legs from showing.

Third, remember that you are Zero's last and only hope of survival. Hope that doesn't make you nervous hee hee.

Joe, you might want to try rubber bloomers, then try not to appear like you're waddling when you exit the stage. Since you're already a pantload it'll be quite a challenge.
