Unhappy with President Barack Obama‘s support of same-sex marriage, a group of African-American faith leaders have announced a campaign aimed at stripping 25 percent of the black vote that went to Obama in 2008 (95 percent). The newly formed nonprofit group, God Said, will begin targeting voters in Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina, Wisconsin and Florida (snip) “The black community is among the most religious in America and we are offended that President Obama has announced his support of same-sex marriage, that the NAACP has blindly supported the secular views of the Democratic Party, and that their national platform plainly supports

While watching Obama during the debate I thought I saw capitulation - it occurred to me that Obama realized that Mitt is his superior and then adopted an air of resignation and defeat. Sure, the left has tried to spin this but that is what I thought I saw.

To me it's doubtful that Obama actually wants to win - and sure, he's going through the motions - he really has no choice - Valerie loves the power too much. But in the end, does zero want to face the mess he made and all the people he's angered? I don't think so - especially when he can go to Hawaii and put his feet up for the rest of his life.

If these pastors succeed in peeling away black vote then the s.s. Obama really is the Titanic.

If he loses 10%, obama is toast.

And don't misunderstand me when I say I'm not impressed with the black pastors just now getting off the democratic plantation. They had plenty of time when abortions were at an all time high for black babies. They are incensed about same-sex marriage so they finally decide they can't vote for The Won. Last I checked, abortions result in death; homosexuality ususally does not.

I finally got a glimmering of understanding of what black people were feeling when I read an interview of Will Smith after Obama's inauguaration. He talked about getting himself and his family places along the route to watch the first black President go by and laughing and crying during the event.
That really was a momentous, soul wrenching moment for those people. A Black President.
They don't give a flying flip what his policies have done to this country or what they're suffering in his economy. He's black. They're black. Enough said. They will never leave him.

Most have a socio/political world view and many are peopel of faith as well. When the two belief systems collide, then it falls to that person to choose with which "faith" they will adhere. There are so many "planks" in the Progrtessive/Socialist platform that fly in the face of God's word, that even if I agreed with some of their(Dems)positions, I simply cannot compromise my Christian faith and principles to stand with them nor help them move their aganda forward.

While I do not believe this will have a literal affect on the out come of the election, I do believe that if this stance is widely publicized it will have an impact on the psychology among blacks, especially those with strong family values, not from broken homes and one member stuggling for work. This is a perfect out for them not to vote at all or vote for Romney without being labeled racist or uncle Tom.

President Obama’s big rally tonight turned out to be just like his first, opening salvo of the 2012 campaign: a half-empty arena in Ohio. According toRealClearPolitics’ Scott Conroy, there were “empty seats scattered around the upper-level of Nationwide Arena … Four years ago, after all, Obama was easily filling venues larger than that …” The event even featured Bruce Springsteen and Jay-Z, and Obama still couldn’t fill it out. As it turns out, the empty seats didn’t look exactly “scattered.” They looked like substantial portions of the upper bowl of the arena, according to photos tweeted by those in attendance:

Vice President Joe Biden on Saturday struggled to draw 1,000 people at two campaign events in Colorado, one of the most important swing states this election. Republicans in Colorado have said they have not seen this much enthusiasm for the top of a Republican ticket in a decade, which is a contrast from Democrats, who are seeing a diminished level of enthusiasm from 2008. At an event in Englewood, Colorado, Biden's crowd "fell just short of a thousand people"--while an event with Romney drew 18,000--and another Biden event drew 1,200 in Pueblo, Colorado.

Today, speaking in Concord, New Hampshire, trying to look bipartisan, Barack Obama made this incredible statement: “As long as I’m president, I’ll work with anybody.” He can’t be serious. For a start, let’s take a look at immigration reform. In June of this year, Sen. John McCain, who has always championed bipartisanship, said bitterly: “This idea that this president or his people reached out to me is patently false. To somehow allege that I didn’t somehow respond to their overtures, that’s patently false. That’s their narrative, and I understand their narrative, but it’s not substantiated by the facts.”

Of course, there is a global violent jihadist movement, loosely organized, that wants to recruit young men to influence policies at home and abroad and perhaps usher in the global caliphate. That ideology motivates some Muslims to kill innocent people. But you´re allowed to be a radical Muslim in America.
