The Great Pretender
American Spectator, by Aaron Goldstein

For years now, the American people have been told by the liberal media and other establishment figures about President Obama's superior intellect. We have been repeatedly told that Obama is "the smartest person in the room." Naturally, most conservatives never bought into this myth. What with, among other things, his declaration he had visited "57 states with one to go," his reference to the "Austrian language" not to mention his inability to discern the Maldives from the Malvinas. As Bret Stephens wrote in the Wall Street Journal in August 2011, "I just think the president isn't very bright." Stephens concluded,

The only reason people buy Obama superior intellect is because he speaks good english. I've always said Obama is nothing but a refined, prettier Jesse Jackson. There's no difference in their philosophies.

Obama rejected Bubba's advice to move to the center. The reason is it would be a huge victory if he won on pure leftism. It would also signal the end of the great American society.

Truth sometimes has an uncanny way of coming out. That truth is that the only way for affirmative action fraud to be the most intelligent person in the room, it would be required that he be alone in the room.

I would love to ask a liberal how they know Bambi is "so smart". We do not have any papers written by him, no college transcripts - zip, nada. Simply because one can read speeches (written by others) off a teleprompter does not make one "smart".

I have known many really high IQ people in my lifetime. None were that much smarter than the average craftsman when it came to logic and how live their lives.
Obama was a myth from the beginning. The only problem is he believed the myth. His story would be a comedy if it was not real life. He was born into a communist family, raised by his grandparents also communists and associated with communists his entire life. Because he had a relatively light completion and spoke with a mellow voice people pushed him to the front of the line.
He has become a pathological liar as anyone else would become, under these circumstances.
Please, please , please vote him out and end our national nightmare.
I don't think most people realize how close we came to the complete collapse of the Nation. The only thing that saved us is the people rising up and voting in the last national elections.

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The owner of an auto body shop near the home of the Boston bombing suspects said the younger brother appeared in his store on Tuesday, nervous and demanding his car immediately. Two weeks ago, said 44-year-old Gilberto Junior, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev had brought in a white Mercedes 1967 station wagon to have the damaged rear bumper repaired. He said it belonged to his girlfriend. That was not unusual: Tsarnaev often brought in cars for wealthy friends from Boston University and MIT, Junior said, and always paid in cash.

The father of a suspected Boston Marathon bomber started to cry when ABC News told him that his son had been captured alive. "Thank God," Anzor Tsarnaev said, speaking in Russian, thanking ABC News for relaying word that his son, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, was in custody and alive. Asked what he wanted to tell his son, Anzor Tsarnaev said, "Tell police everything. Everything. Just be honest." Tsarnaev spoke to ABC News on more than one occasion today from his home in Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan, Russia, as Boston police carried out an intense dragnet for his son.

So once again, no good deed goes unpunished. Uncle Sam lets another bunch of leeching future terrorists into the country who have absolutely no business being here, gives them “asylum,” making them immediately eligible for welfare, and this is the thanks we get? They turn into mass murderers. We bring in thousands of Muslims from a primitive society that has been battling Christians for centuries, and put them into a peaceful Christian society — what could possible go wrong? This is what I was thinking about yesterday, with much of the city under what amounted to martial law.

Rescuers have ended their search for survivors following the devastating fertilizer explosion in West this week that killed at least 14 people and injured 200. Texas Gov. Rick Perry announced Friday afternoon that the search and rescue operation has ended now that responders have found 14 bodies. At least 11 emergency responders are presumed dead after the massive explosion and blaze at the West Fertilizer Co. facility near Waco. Sen. John Cornyn said earlier Friday that 60 people remain unaccounted for, but officials have now downplayed that number. Officials said this afternoon that people were put on a list

Although information is still too sketchy to draw any comprehensive conclusions (other than that the Boston killings are not, as recently suggested, fall out from sequestration, the NRA, lack of gun control, climate change, right-wing tea-party zealots, etc.), there emerges a familiar profile to the suspects that we have seen before. In articles in 2002 and 2007, I touched on the dangers of isolated Islamic-driven terrorists without direct connections to organized terrorist networks, calling it a sort of “al-Qaedism.” In other word, single and usually young American resident males, often originating from the Muslim world

When vocal teacher Bill Schuman works with an aspiring opera singer, he invokes the past, present and future with equal importance. He looks to the past for examples: "Study the great tenors," he advises one student, just before issuing a command for the present. "Pick up your palate! Don´t be lazy!" He also has a way of foreseeing what´s to come: "You will be Tosca," he promises a young soprano. Since 1989, Mr. Schuman, age 54, has been a voice instructor at Philadelphia´s Academy of Vocal Arts, a four-year conservatory program devoted to training young opera singers.

When David Sirota hoped the person or people responsible for bombing the Boston Marathon would be a “white American”, I asked, “Can’t a terrorist be both white & Muslim?” Yes, Mr. Sirota, there are white, Muslim terrorists. Granted, I was thinking more along the lines of a convert to Islam like John Walker Lindh. Nevertheless, Chechens are both Caucasian and Muslim. While it’s certainly possible for non-Muslims to commit terrorism, we do ourselves a disservice by being afraid to cause offense and refuse to consider the possibility that Muslims are responsible for these acts of evil. Things are looking up for Republicans. President Obama’s agenda is collapsing before our eyes. Obama is pointing to the 2014 midterm elections to capture the House and revive his presidency. “My job is not simply to occupy the Oval Office,” he said at a San Francisco fundraiser. “My job is to make sure we move the country forward, and I think we can best do that if Nancy Pelosi is speaker of the House once again.” Obama said Pelosi is “thought ful” and “visionary” and “never lets ideology cloud her judgment.”

The Tsarnaev brothers were ethnic Chechens whose family fled the breakaway republic in the remote Caucasus mountains where insurgents fought two bloody wars with Russia at the cost of more than 100,000 lives. Even after the worst of the fighting was over, Chechnya became a training ground for terrorists who have carried out attacks that have killed hundreds of civilians. Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the FBI’s “Suspect Number 2” in Monday’s bombing, followed two Internet sites that advocated independence for Chechnya, whose heavily Muslim population of more than 1 million suffered badly during Soviet rule.

Several years ago, Jennifer Senior wrote a fascinating, agonized essay for New York Magazine on abortion and the challenges facing the pro-choice cause. Of the piece’s many memorable passages, this stretch in particular stood out: … if you want to hear honest talk about the realities of abortion, go speak with those abortion counselors and providers. Even the most radically pro-choice will tell you that the political discourse they hear about the subject, with its easy dichotomies and bumper-sticker boilerplate, has little correspondence to the messy, intricate stories of her patients.

We are still speculating about virtually everything right now, but I feel as though I need to explain why I find the quick and easy conversation about Muslims being radicalized in America to be so illogical and laced with bigotry. Of course, there is a global violent jihadist movement, loosely organized, that wants to recruit young men to influence policies at home and abroad and perhaps usher in the global caliphate. That ideology motivates some Muslims to kill innocent people. But you´re allowed to be a radical Muslim in America.

The arrest of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev signaled the end of five days of terror set-off by the double bombing at the marathon finish line and the mayor of Boston, Thomas Menino, was quoted by the Boston Globe as taking to the police scanner to exclaim, ´We got him´. Relieved law enforcement officers began cheering and clapping after Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, was arrested and is now in a serious condition at Beth Israel Deaconess
