The Great Pretender
American Spectator, by Aaron Goldstein

For years now, the American people have been told by the liberal media and other establishment figures about President Obama's superior intellect. We have been repeatedly told that Obama is "the smartest person in the room." Naturally, most conservatives never bought into this myth. What with, among other things, his declaration he had visited "57 states with one to go," his reference to the "Austrian language" not to mention his inability to discern the Maldives from the Malvinas. As Bret Stephens wrote in the Wall Street Journal in August 2011, "I just think the president isn't very bright." Stephens concluded,

The only reason people buy Obama superior intellect is because he speaks good english. I've always said Obama is nothing but a refined, prettier Jesse Jackson. There's no difference in their philosophies.

Obama rejected Bubba's advice to move to the center. The reason is it would be a huge victory if he won on pure leftism. It would also signal the end of the great American society.

Truth sometimes has an uncanny way of coming out. That truth is that the only way for affirmative action fraud to be the most intelligent person in the room, it would be required that he be alone in the room.

I would love to ask a liberal how they know Bambi is "so smart". We do not have any papers written by him, no college transcripts - zip, nada. Simply because one can read speeches (written by others) off a teleprompter does not make one "smart".

I have known many really high IQ people in my lifetime. None were that much smarter than the average craftsman when it came to logic and how live their lives.
Obama was a myth from the beginning. The only problem is he believed the myth. His story would be a comedy if it was not real life. He was born into a communist family, raised by his grandparents also communists and associated with communists his entire life. Because he had a relatively light completion and spoke with a mellow voice people pushed him to the front of the line.
He has become a pathological liar as anyone else would become, under these circumstances.
Please, please , please vote him out and end our national nightmare.
I don't think most people realize how close we came to the complete collapse of the Nation. The only thing that saved us is the people rising up and voting in the last national elections.

ObamaCare participants are twice as likely to face administrative barriers to using certain prescription drugs as people who receive health coverage through an employer, according to a new analysis. The research from consulting firm Avalere Health points to a little-known facet of policies on the ObamaCare exchanges known as "utilization management controls." The controls allow insurance companies to limit access to certain medications to try and control costs and prevent abuse. People who enroll in ObamaCare plans are likely to encounter the hurdles if they´re prescribed brand-name cancer or mental health drugs, Avalere found. At least 51 percent of brand-name mental health meds

Most people (53 percent) now disapprove of Obamacare, compared with 41 percent who approve. Indeed, just a week before the deadline to buy health insurance on the Obamacare exchanges, opposition to the law is as high as the annual cap on out-of-pocket expenses for a family plan at the Bronze level. The bigger problem? Many uninsured people have no idea what that last sentence means. For a new study released today in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, researchers asked 3,414 Americans a battery of questions about Obamacare. Since most people get health insurance through work, they also

A pair of potentially catastrophic cases will be argued before the Supreme Court on Tuesday. The Supreme Court was hearing arguments Tuesday in a landmark religion-based legal challenge from family-owned companies that object to covering certain contraceptives in their health plans under ObamaCare. The case challenges the health care law´s so-called "contraceptive mandate," which requires employers to offer health plans with a range of services at no extra charge, including all forms of birth control for women that have been approved by federal regulators. Some of the nearly 50 businesses that have sued over covering contraceptives object to paying for all forms of birth control. But the companies involved in the high court case are willing to

President Obama is unwilling to engage militarily in Syria. Assad’s butchery has not moved him, nor have the 150,000 deaths produced thus far by the civil war. When Assad and his Hezbollah/Iran backers crossed the “red line” by using chemical weapons, Obama punted. He has even been unwilling to provide meaningful assistance to Assad’s non-radical opponents. In Iraq, Obama opted for a total U.S. pullout. He appears poised for a similar pullout in Afghanistan, which would mean abandoning those Afghans who put their life on the line to support his surge. The Roosevelt administration once talked loudly of pivoting to Asia to thwart a rising Japan. As a token of its seriousness, in May 1940 it moved the home port of the Seventh Fleet from San Diego to Pearl Harbor — but without beefing up the fleet’s strength. The then-commander of the Pacific Fleet, Admiral James O. Richardson, an expert on the Japanese Imperial Navy, protested vehemently over such a reckless redeployment. He felt that the move might invite, but could not guard against, surprise attack. Richardson was eventually relieved of his command and his career was ruined — even as he was

Most political pundits believe that the November 2014 elections spell serious trouble for Democrats. Not so fast. Despite their blustering for the benefit of their friends in the apparatchik press, the party appears to have conceded that it can’t regain a majority in the House of Representatives. One might therefore think that Republicans have a chance of greatly expanding their current 33-seat House advantage. That doesn’t seem likely. It’s difficult to overestimate how much harm supposedly helpful GOP gerrymandering in certain red states has done in the current situation. For example, in Ohio, the state’s GOP-dominated apportionment board “cleverly” carved out four heavy-majority
