Did Obama Just Throw The Entire Election Away?

| The Pew poll is devastating, just devastating. Before the debate, Obama had a 51 - 43 lead; now, Romney has a 49 - 45 lead. That's a simply unprecedented reversal for a candidate in October. Before Obama had leads on every policy issue and personal characteristic; now Romney leads in almost all of them. Obama's performance gave Romney a 12 point swing! I repeat: a 12 point swing. Romney's favorables are above Obama's now. Yes, you read that right. Romney's favorables are higher than Obama's right now. That gender gap that was Obama's firewall? Over in one night:

I feel so, so sorry for your own vanity. Yours and many liberals have their personal vanity at stake. You have been had, and we will no longer be had by you.

I will now go out on a limb here: Romney/Ryan in a landslide, especially after Thursday nights debate. Oh, did I mention get the popcorn ready for that one?
When you lose the New Yorker Daily, Chris Matthews, F. Chuck Todd, the nyt's, and la times, you are cooked.
Unless he declares Marshll law, the Tea Party is going to do to him what we did in 2010.
Not saying don't go out and vote, we all need to! Just saying the numbers don't add up and time is growing nigh. I think obamster is tired of "leading" the country and wants all the perks an ex-president gets without all the hassle. He HATES the work!

To put it bluntly: yes.
But to be fair, was there really anything else that Obama could have been expected to do? He has failed America in every way, and has nothing positive to show for four years in office. Osama doesn't count. Hunting him was W's program.
FTA: "Obama still has an edge on Medicare, scores much higher on relating to ordinary people, is ahead on foreign policy..."
In the next debate, which is a townhall syle, Romney will have a chance to be conversational with the audience. Then the last one on foreign policy on the 24th. Romney will do a slice and dice of Obama on foreign policy, and by Halloween even ILLINOIS will be in play. If Sullivan thinks it's bad for Obama now, just stick around and pay attention.

Remember when Andrew was a fiscal conservative and a war hawk? That was, until Bush came out in support of a marriage amendment. And Andy's transformation to hardcore liberal was complete when Barry entered the race. I wonder why? Where, by the way, is Andrew on the Libya debacle? You would think that he would show the same amount of emotion over the murder of our ambassador (and the mobs dragging his body through the streets) that he does over Obama's lackluster debate performance.

The MSM continues to foist this notion that Obama is responsible for Romney's upturn. The truth is we all had an unvarnished look at Romney (w/o the extreme media bias clouding our perception) and guess what - Romney looks pretty good!
Romney won that debate because he was prepared, he was confident, and he was enthusiastic. He was much more dynamic than the Poser.

#20...it isn't just Sullivan who is brainwashed into the "lie" business. Ask any Liberal precisely what the lie is and what document do they have, or can point to, to prove it is a lie? They can't do it. They just know "he lies" because some pathetic excuse of human excrement said so.
When you ask a people (as did Howard Stern and Jay Leno) who is President Obama's running mate and they answer Paul Ryan, or you ask who is running against Obama and they say McCain, you know this country is full of gullible ignorant people.
I think it would be fun to meet the mothers of those in the Media and ask them if they are proud of raising children who became communist traitors and to twist stories around and deliberately lie to the American People? Are you truly proud of what you raised?

What happened was:
1) the MEDIA (that would be you, Sullivan) could no longer only sound-bite Romney into the caricature they have been shamelessly pushing onto the public, &
2) the MEDIA could no longer sound-bite Obama into faux brilliance in sound bites to the public.
I said this before the debate. John Q. Public could see for him/herself the candidates as they really are for almost 2 blessed hours. If it weren't for debates (that really aren't debates, but, rather PR), the conservative side of the country would be completely screwed by YOUR profession, Sullivan. Truth is hard for you guys to take, I know. You'll probably find a way to stop televising the debates, too, next election.

Reader’s conclusion: Obama is a dismal failure; desperate supporters find nothing to support; have no strategy except to accuse opponent of ‘lies’ without backup. Romney prevailing. So sorry, Andrew.

#6, polls that over-sample democrats or republicans aren't necessarily wrong. The pollsters are well aware of it and adjust the results accordingly.
Nor is oversampling evidence of trying to manipulate the results. When pollsters call, they simply can't know ahead of time who's going to be home and who's not. Nor can they know who's going to hang up on them and who won't.

Turns out the debate was important after all because it was when millions of voters actually got to meet Romney for the first time outside of distorted Obama ads and biased news clips from the lamestreams. Seems people liked what they saw especially in comparison to the empty chair he debated against.

Williamson, W.Va.- The man suspected of killing a West Virginia sheriff as he ate lunch in his car was mentally disturbed and had no particular vendetta with law enforcement, his father told The Associated Press on Thursday. Melvin Maynard said his 37-year-old son, Tennis Melvin Maynard, was exposed to harmful chemicals and injured while working at an Alabama coal mine. He most likely did not target Mingo County Sheriff Eugene Crum, he said. "He would have probably shot anybody, the first one he come to, you know what I´m saying?" the elder Maynard said. "I know he was off."

The Dow Jones and Standard & Poor’s 500 indexes reached record highs on Thursday, having completely erased the losses since the stock market’s last peak, in 2007. But instead of cheering, we should be very afraid. Over the last 13 years, the stock market has twice crashed and touched off a recession: American households lost $5 trillion in the 2000 dot-com bust and more than $7 trillion in the 2007 housing crash. RUSH: Folks, I don´t know how else to categorize this. We are living in a dying country. I don´t know how else to categorize what´s happening -- 88,000 new jobs. The unemployment rate, because of a terrible statistic, is down to 7.6%. The number of people in this country who are not working is shameful. Ninety million Americans are no longer in the workforce. Ninety million. People not in the labor force grew by 663,000, and now 90 million. That´s the labor force participation rate. This is 1979 levels.

President Obama´s biggest gaffe yesterday when speaking of California Attorney General Kamala Harris was not in flirtatiously complimenting her as "the best-looking attorney general," but in introducing an observation from the system of beauty into a forum that was about the system of power. What´s that, you say? Irin Carmon does a great job in Salon in laying out the bounds of propriety for when it´s appropriate to talk about a woman´s looks as a general matter. But I´ve long felt we lack a solid theoretical underpinning for easily discussing these issues, and why precisely it is that

Michelle Obama has admitted that she is already tired of the bangs she first sported in January. The First Lady said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight: ´Bangs are a day-by-day proposition. They´re starting to grow out, get a little irritating.´ Still, she hasn´t let her hairdo woes get her down. ´It´s okay,´ she said after her initial complaint. ´We´ll be good.´ The first indication that her hairstyle was becoming a burden came about last weekend, when Malia, 14, was spotted adjusting her mother´s hair during the White House Easter Egg Roll.

No one is more preoccupied these days with Hillary Clinton´s 2016 plans than the Beltway political class—not even the former presidential candidate herself. To hear some tell it, her decision will be dispositive for all other Democrats thinking of entering the race. And pundits and reporters aren´t the only ones positing the "The Hillary Factor": No less than the House Democratic whip, Steny Hoyer, told BuzzFeed, “I don´t know that anybody would run against Hillary…. If she runs, she clears the field.” It´s an understandable conclusion, given Clinton´s stature in the Democratic Party and her 70 percent

I hope all will look at a lifetime of service over some poorly chosen words.” Carson will remain as commencement speaker at Johns Hopkins,

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton explained to the Women in the World summit in New York today that the clock is turning back for women in America. Clinton praised her own mother for helping empower her to success and marveled at the opportunities that her own daughter Chelsea has pursued. But Clinton warned that there is still so much to do to promote women´s rights in America. "As I look at all these young women that I am privileged to work with, or know through Chelsea, and its hard to imagine turning the clock on them," Clinton said.

The Obama White House is scrambling to blame Friday’s abysmal March jobs numbers on the sequester’s trimming of the rate of growth in federal budgets that have yet to fully commence. After the Labor Department announced that a mass exodus of 663,000 workers left the U.S. workforce last month and that job creation fell 112,000 jobs short of projections, Obama’s top economic adviser Alan B. Krueger, took to the White House blog to blame the sequester: It is important to bear in mind that the March household and payroll surveys are the first monthly surveys to look

On Friday, Sean Hannity brought Pat Smith, mother of the late Sean Smith, on his radio program. The 34-year-old information management officer was one of four Americans murdered in the Benghazi embassy attack on September 11, 2012. In the chilling interview, a distraught Ms. Smith, in tears, pleaded for answers and spoke of the efforts to silence her. Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,

SANFORD - Trayvon Martin´s parents have settled a wrongful death claim for an amount believed to be more than $1 million against the homeowners association of the Sanford subdivision where their teenage son was killed. In the five pages of the settlement that were available for public review, the settlement amount had been marked out. Lower in the agreement, the parties specified that they would keep that amount confidential. When asked during an earlier interview whether the amount was

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank
