Claim: Obama campaign illegally

Daily Caller, by Matthew Boyle

President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign has been soliciting foreigners for donations, an explosive report from the conservative Government Accountability Institute (GAI) shows. Those foreign donors are allegedly visiting the Obama campaign’s donation solicitation Web pages through a social media website the campaign controls, and through an outside website that serves mostly Internet users from outside the United States. About 20 percent of visitors to the “my.barackobama.com” social media website “originated from foreign locations,” the report found. That Web address is owned and controlled by the Obama re-election campaign. “At no point during the [website's] subscription process

Comments:
This, of course, will completely overshadow Romney's Foreign Policy speech. On the other hand, maybe this news reinforces Romney's warnings of the danger Obama places us in.

The illegal funding definitely gave Obozo the propaganda edge to win .... Cant get the lame stream media to report Obozo's impeachable high crimes ... being boycotting the lame stream for years

Tamerlan Tsarnaev’s Widow
Won’t Claim His Body
New York Magazine, by Margaret Hartmann    Original Article

Katherine Russell has been trying to distance herself from her husband, with her family saying in a statement that after the Boston bombing "we know that we never really knew Tamerlan Tsarnaev." On Tuesday she said through her attorney that she´s declining her right as a spouse to claim his remains, and wants his family to take the body. "Of course, family members will take possession of the body," his uncle Ruslan Tsarni told The Associated Press. "We´ll do it. We will do it. A family is a family."

RUSSIAN agents placed the elder Boston bombing suspect under surveillance during a six-month visit to southern Russia last year, then scrambled to find him when he suddenly disappeared after police killed a Canadian jihadist, a security official told The Associated Press. US law enforcement officials have been trying to determine whether Tamerlan Tsarnaev was indoctrinated or trained by militants during his visit to Dagestan, a Caspian Sea province that has become the centre of a simmering Islamic insurgency. The security official with the Anti-Extremism centre, a federal agency under Russia´s Interior Ministry, confirmed the Russians shared their concerns.

Gay rights push threatens

The most serious threat to bipartisan immigration reform doesn’t involve border security or guest workers or even the path to citizenship. It’s about gay rights. Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) has told advocates that he will offer an amendment during the bill markup next week allowing gay Americans to sponsor their foreign-born partners for green cards, just as heterosexual couples can. The measure is likely to pass because Democrats face pressure from gay rights advocates to deal with it in committee, rather than on the Senate floor, where the odds of passage are far less favorable.

The reaction of most Americans to the tragedy in Boston was typical: We came together as a nation, mourned our fallen, and applauded our newest heroes. The sight of first-responders running to the sound of danger within mere seconds of the explosions, not away from disaster as human instinct might dictate, was nothing short of exceptional—but also characteristically American. Indeed, for 237 years, Americans have risked all to help their fellow citizens, strangers, and foreigners equally. The people of Boston, whose lives had been stopped, were grateful. We are guided by myths more often than by reason. Nothing new there; man is a myth-making animal. Myths spring up from our collective unconscious, they cover the globe, and they shape our thoughts and actions. (Snip) The Myth of the Day is: the “homegrown terrorist.” Sometimes he or she’s called “self-made,” but it all comes to the same thing. Religious liberty groups have grave concerns after they learned the Pentagon is vetting its guide on religious tolerance with a group that compared Christian evangelism to “rape” and advocated that military personnel who proselytize should be court martialed. The Military Religious Freedom Foundation is calling on the Air Force to enforce a regulation that they believe calls for the court martial of any service member caught proselytizing. President Mikey Weinstein and others from his organization met privately with Pentagon officials on April 23. He said U.S. troops who proselytize are guilty of sedition and treason and should be punished –

Barack Obama has now hit the 100th day of his second term, a milestone which generally means less than it does in the first term, when a new President has a true honeymoon. Obama was the first President in long memory to win a second term with a lower percentage of the vote (and fewer votes) than in his first election, a pretty clear sign that Obama didn’t have a big popular mandate to ride in the first months afterward, too. Even with lower expectations in mind, Obama has done almost nothing to advance an agenda,

Have you noticed that homelessness isn´t worse? Here we are, living through the most protracted joblessness crisis since the Great Depression -- and surprisingly, fewer people are living on the street. The federal Department of Housing and Urban Development reported that the number of the chronically homeless declined by 30% between 2005 and 2007. You might have expected the numbers to spike again when the financial crisis hit but no. Since 2007, the number of chronic homeless has dropped another 19%. A broader measure of the number of homeless counts the number of people living out of doors

The Saudi warning, the official told MailOnline, was separate from the multiple red flags raised by Russian intelligence in 2011, and was based on human intelligence developed independently in Yemen. Citing security concerns, the Saudi government also denied an entry visa to the elder Tsarnaev brother in

It is a shopworn technique of hard-line conservatives to declare themselves men and women of principle in contrast to those other Republicans — the ones, you know, who pass legislation and try to represent their constituents. It is both self-serving (presuming principles are of no matter to opponents) and lazy in that it is always easy to say no, ridicule compromise and remain pristine rather than trying to improve legislation or introduce an alternative. I’m sorry to say Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) is too often falling into the reflexive habit of voting no

It says these changes can be particularly harmful for women.
