Romney capitalizes on debate win with
new ad showing off 'greatest hits'
of his performance against Obama

Daily Mail [UK], by Hugo Gye, Michael Zennie

Mitt Romney is continuing to capitalize on his debate victory over President Barack Obama--releasing a dramatic new ad with his greatest hits from the night. He has paired the video with another new TV spot blasting Obama for his 'false' assertions that the Republican candidate's tax plan calls for a $5trillion tax cut at the expense of the middle class. 'And what we're seeing right now in my view is a trick down government approach, which as government thinking it can do things better than free people pursuing their dreams. And it's not working,' Romney declared during the debate.

Typo alert: He said "trickle down", not "trick down."
My favorite part was when he said he has 5 boys and is used to someone saying the same thing over and over and hoping he'll start to believe it. He really came across well. I hope the TownHall style debate also goes in Romney's favor, but I suspect the Dims will do everything they can to rig it.

Romney is rubbing salt in the wound. I love it! Who said this guy wasn't a fighter? The MSM thought they were pulling a fast one on us by choosing Mitt as the candidate most likely to lose to Obama. They were digging up dirt on those people faster than a dog going after a bone. Obama has no game and Romney is taking advantage of every deficiency.

How could Romney have accomplished all that he has in life without being a fighter? The impossibility of that notion should have been easy to see. I never entertained the slightest doubt of it.

Good point #4. Obama has had pampering liberals patting him on the head for 3 decades. Romney has undoubtedly dealt with some hard-bitten businessmen who are meaner than a one-eyed junk yard dog.

As of March 1 about 4.2 million Americans had signed up for medical insurance coverage through the Affordable Care Act, according to numbers released Tuesday by the Obama administration. But it remains unclear how many of those enrollees have put their money where their mouse is. Combined figures published by Obamacare marketplaces in California, Connecticut, Maryland, Nevada, Rhode Island, Vermont and Washington indicate that just 79 percent of signups in those states have come with checks attached. If those numbers were to hold up nationally, it would mean that about 1.1 million Obamacare enrollees have selected insurance plans without paying

US Secretary of State John Kerry has rejected an offer of talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin until Moscow engages with US proposals to tackle the crisis in Ukraine. Mr Kerry told his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov that Moscow´s military intervention in Crimea had made any negotiations extremely difficult. US officials say there will be little to talk about if the referendum on Crimea´s future goes ahead. The referendum is to be held on Sunday. Ukraine and the the West say that the vote is illegal. Moscow has condemned Ukraine´s new Western-backed government as an unacceptable "fait accompli"--it says that

UKIP could attract 30 per cent of the vote if it can get its act together, a major new study of the party claims today. The academic study, which analysed the views of more than 100,000 voters, says support for Ukip is driven not just by Euroscepticism, but also by ‘hostility’ to immigration and ‘intense dissatisfaction’ with the three main parties. It suggests that almost one-third of voters share at least two of these values and might be persuaded to vote for the party in future if it can succeed in getting its message across. The study also finds that

Churchill had a great fondness for animals, a trait that surprises those who think of him only as the wartime leader promising blood, toil, tears and sweat. But he knew where the balance of power lay in the animal kingdom. “I am very fond of pigs,” he declared. “Dogs look up to us. Cats look down on us. Pigs treat us as equals.” At Chartwell, his home in Kent, he kept ducks and black swans, goldfish and golden orfe, butterflies and bantams; his brown poodles, Rufus I and Rufus II, are buried there, and his budgerigar Toby was a cherished

A promise made to an ageing Sir Winston Churchill has been honoured after a kitten was given a home at his country estate. For his 88th birthday in 1962, Churchill was given a marmalade cat named Jock after one of his private secretaries, Sir John "Jock" Colville, who gave him the pet. The cat was so dear to the former Prime Minister that it was rumoured that meals would not start until Jock was at the table. He and his family requested that, after his death, there should always be a marmalade cat named Jock with a white bib and four white socks resident at Chartwell in Kent. CBS News investigative correspondent Sharyl Attkisson has reached an agreement to resign from CBS News ahead of contract, bringing an end to months of hard-fought negotiations, sources familiar with her departure told POLITICO on Monday. Attkisson, who has been with CBS News for two decades, had grown frustrated with what she saw as the network´s liberal bias, an outsized influence by the network´s corporate partners and a lack of dedication to investigative reporting, several sources said. She increasingly felt like her work was no longer supported and that it was a struggle to get her reporting on air.

You have probably seen all of the ridiculous speculating about the GOP nomination in 2016. This is still speculating, but my sincere hope is you don’t think it’s ridiculous too. The latest Rasmussen poll shows her leading Jeb in a general election 47 percent to 33. His name is Bush and to the general public the specifics of how smart he is doesn’t matter one iota.
