IMHO, they were smart to leave it alone in '08. The Regime and their propaganda media would have labeled Republicans racist sore losers and it would have gone nowhere. This is probably where it will do the most good.

Everyone, just make sure and check your debit and credit card statements. There were quite a few BO donations charged that people never made back in 2008. Of course by the time the bills arrived, it was too late.

Pretty sure it will be Newsweek. Which is significant because they campaigned hard for Barack Marshall Davis in '08. This is not 2008, a lot fewer people are drunk on BarackJuice. This will get some attention, I think (hope)

In 2008 tens of thousands of the donations to the Obama campaign--we saw longs lists of donation amounts online--were in odd penny amounts. Donors paying in dollars would just about always pay in even dollar amounts. Odd amounts were (and are) almost certainly in converted foreign currencies--illegal donations, in other words--that Obama enabled by deliberately turning off the portions of the software that would identify the origins of the donors.

There are monumental and deliberate campaign law violations going on here. Obama got away with it in 2008. He might not this year. When the light is shone on this cheating, some people in the Obama/DNC organizations will be headed to prison.

Might I also remind people that the house and senate were controlled by filibuster proof libtard majorities in 2008 - and the senate being still under their control has continued to block any substantive actions by the house that requires cooperation on the part of the senate.

Very frustrating that the article doesn't name the magazine and Web site. I suspect that the impact on Obama will depend on who it is. If it's a "Republican" publication, such as National Review or The Washington Examiner, the article will be characterized as a partisan hit job and the impact will be minimal. But if it's Time, Newsweek or somesuch, with "liberal street cred," or (please! please!) the NY Times or the Washington Post or some other major MSM publication, then it could move the polls in Romney's favor by at least a point, maybe even more.

Also, if it's a "liberal" publication, it could signal that the MSM is getting a whiff of defeat for Obama and wants to save (or restore) its credibility.

I think it also will depend on whether the story "has legs" that keep the story going, or does it get buried quickly after the initial reporting. Does the publication stop with the allegations, or does it do independent checking to verify whether the allegations are true?

If the story is true, if the amounts are substantial and if the MSM stays on the story, it could doom the Obama campaign. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Should be easy to trace back the IP addresses of where they came from, unless, they are using a US middleman (which is highly illegal).

The software has the capability to filter the donations based on where they are coming from (their IP address), and block certain locations. Most Democrats ignore this US requirement that only US donations can be made.

That is why Clinton sold missile technology to China, had to pay back all those donations from the Chinese.

Same is going on for Obama, only it's probably coming from the Middle East this time !!!!

Time for subpoena's from the IT people involved!!! Start with them and work up the chain, at the very least, make them pay all of it back.....

Obama's been leaving off the 3 digit credit verification code on his web sites. Without that there's no way to verify the identity of the donor. You could go to his website, enter your card # and claim to be the queen of england and your donation would be accepted. No one else would ever do this, even Papa Johns makes you enter the code. What Obama is doing allows unlimited donations from the same credit card. I think this gets picked up by a major publication. Newsweek makes sense.

If the magazine is a conservative one expect it to make no difference at all. We must just wait and see......let's hope and pray that it's one of the left-leaning ones. Perhaps (big perhaps) then it may cause problems.

My fear is it will be World Net Daily (WND.com) and if that's the case even Fox News won't carry the story.
Newsweek or something similar makes sense because we have heard that the campaign has tried to block the stories release, that would not be the case if it was WND.
Just like 2008 it will be ignored. Or briefly covered with excuses why its untrue and then dropped, just like any other story negative to Obama.
