| After months of indecision, or at least months of silence, Boston Mayor-for-Life Thomas Menino has at last announced his endorsement of Elizabeth Warren for U.S. Senate. Speaking at a Warren rally in Roslindale on Friday, September 21, the mayor invoked the ordinary working people from Hyde Park who would benefit from having someone like Warren “speak up in Washington” on their behalf, saying: “if I was any guy from Hyde Park, Elizabeth would have my back, and so I have hers.” The question that everyone is asking now is: what took so long?

I don't profess to know much about Boston or Massachusetts politics, but I have followed the careers of some of the people they elect to represent them. Gary studds, the kennedy's. barney franks, and the old traitor himself, John F'n Kerry- creatures of the swamp all. 'nuff said.

My guess is that Mumbles knows that Liawatha is damaged goods and has a real good chance of losing in a state where a snowball has a better chance of surviving in h-e-double-hockey-sticks than a Republican winning a Senate seat.
An endorsement now sounds like, okay, I did my duty, but don't blame me when Granny Warren loses.

The murder trial of abortionist Kermit Gosnell largely is being ignored by the mainstream media, even in the face of grisly testimony, such as what we heard yesterday. North Korea’s young leader Kim Jong-un is waiting for United States President Barack Obama to make a phone call to Pyongyang to discuss easing tensions on the Korean peninsula, according to Russia’s news agency Itar-Tass. The report cited United Kingdom diplomats, saying Pyongyang was demanding the U.S. president personally call Kim Jong-un as one of the conditions to relieve the current conflict at hand.
