All this reminds me of the story in Woodward's latest book ... when the Republicans won the House in 2010, the White House had to scramble because they couldn't find a cell number for John Boehner to make the proticol-required congratulatory phone call.
Work with Congress ... even Nasty Nancy puts Dear Leader(US) on hold.

Moochelle seems to blame congress for not working with BO and gave him high mark in "working around congress". Does Moochelle forget that BO had both chambers of congress for the first 2 years when he ramed Obamacare thru without one single Repub. vote. BO also had no problem is ignoring the Constitution on several issues. Can you just imagine what BO would do to the Constitution and the country if given 4 more years. I still can't get over the $90 billion he threw away to the green industries. Lets face it,BO is way over his head. BO likes the perks of office but does not want to do the work. Let's send him back to Chicago and maybe he can get his old Community Organizer job back.

This is the trick for the Dems to try and link Congress as controlled by Republicans just like they used 8 years of Bush White House in the lead-up to the 2008 presidential campaign when the Democrats actually controlled both the House and Senate.
Romney needs to remind viewers in the next debate that Democrats control the Senate, and they have failed to pass a budget simply because they don't want to tell their voters the bad news.
Romney should know the amount the Dems expect they could get from the "rich" and illustrate clearly how little it is compared to the hole the Democrats dug us into with their wild spending.

Well, he's only been working "around" Congress for two years - 2011 and 2012.
Prior to that, Democrats held both House and Senate, so "workarounds" weren't nearly as necessary.

The Senate Judiciary Committee has just completed a hearing — if you can call it that — on the Schumer-Rubio (et al.) immigration reform legislation. The hearing lasted for about two hours and was limited to one round of questions for two witnesses — economist Douglas Holtz-Eakin (who supports the bill) and Peter Kirsanow of the U.S. Civil Rights Commission (who opposes it). Both witnesses were good. But, as Kirsanow testified, they had received the nearly 900-pager only about two days ago, and thus lacked anything close to enough time to review and analyze it sufficiently.

Several posts on what is believed to be the Twitter profile of accused Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev indicate that that the 19-year-old Chechnyan immigrant was a supporter of Barack Obama in the 2012 presidential election. If that is indeed the case, it does not mean that Obama has any sort of connection with or responsibility for the bombing suspect or his brother, Tamerlan Tsarnaev. The IRS will shut down entirely for five days this year in order to try to meet its slimmed-down budget under the sequesters, a labor union that represents Treasury Department employees said on Friday. While the media are bearing the brunt of public skepticism over the handling of the Boston bombing, the behavior of government is also eroding public trust. Yesterday´s promised but cancelled news briefing is just one symptom. Andrew McCarthy of PJM notes that "Misinformation rather than enlightenment has been the order of the day in the investigation of Monday´s terrorist bombing of the Boston Marathon," and that part of it is the natural outgrowth of the desire of investigators to keep the details of their investigations secret, so as not to alert suspects.
