Barack Obama and the Mandate Of Heaven

| Forget the polls, forget the focus groups, forget the media. What is occurring in the campaign of 2012 is simplicity itself: Barack Obama has lost the mandate of heaven. We persist in the illusion (even conservatives, who should be immune to this kind of thinking) that politics is somehow a form of "rational" activity, open to "scientific" understanding and manipulation. The entire apparatus of political consultancy, polling, and analysis is based on this premise.

A lot of high-fallutin' words here. I've got a better idea: read what the papers write, and listen to the network news. Then believe the opposite.

Regarding future debates, I think one of 2 things will occur. .... Obama will issue instructions that he will NOT debate Mitt again and that his handlers had better come us with something to make that non-debate happen. He will remind 'them' that he was told he would not have to do anything more than look presidential, read the teleprompter and play golf. .... If the debate IS held, Obama will try to accuse Mitt of racism. The race card put the president in office. He has failed in the presidency. Now, the race card is all he has left.
I hope Mitt is ready for being accused of basing all his future plans on a 'white only' basis.

I think that #8 is probably right. This guy cannot stand a situation where he is not the focus of the room. He must be adored and catered to by all involved. His thin skin will have to eventually come out and he will have a total meltdown.

This is one of the best articles I have read on the subject. This is wha the writer is talking about.. Ozymandias by Percy Bysshe Shelley (1792-1822)
I met a traveler from an antique land Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand, Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown, And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command, Tell that its sculptor well those passions read Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things, The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed; And on the pedestal these words appear: “My name is Ozymandias, king of kings: Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!” Nothing beside remains. Round the decay Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare The lone and level sands stretch far away.

Obama is in a dangerous (yeah) predicament. He must be the sggressor in the next two debates, but he must also still look "cool" and "reserved".
He is not capable of putting on the performance Mitt did last night. He cannot disagree without rancor. My prediction, he will come out hard, Mitt will respond hard and O will start to ramble aimlessly and come across not only as unintelligable but crass and simply mean. His thin skin and complete ignorance of criticism almost guarantees this.
The next moderator is going to go after Mitt like a starving tick on the worlds last hound dog. I expect downright rude cut offs, very strict clock watching (for Mitt, not Obama) and for any sequence in which Mitt looks "presidential" to be immediately cut off and the subject changed.
I doubt Mitt will allow it, his challenge is to be as rude as possible and still look "cool" and "reserved". Thats a very tough act to pull off. Make no mistake, in the next debate the deck will be stacked and there will be two opponents gunning for Romney, Obama and the leftwing "moderator". I hope Mitt is up to the challenge.

You have to realize that this is Obama's first REAL contest. He has had previous political positions essentially handed to him without much effort until 2008, and during the last election, the media covered up his radical past so well that people thought he was a moderate black guy who was going to heal the racial divide.
Four years of arrogant and authoritarian rule has made his extreme left ideology more obvious to everyone. He does not have anonymity nor as monopolistic a media to shield him from being exposed for the often unthinking ideologue that he truly is.
But the damage of an Obama presidency to the political stability of the world especially in an increasingly unstable Middle East and North Africa, has already been done and is too late for America to put that evil genie back in the bottle.

Last night was an "answer" to many prayers. There are countless Christians fasting and praying for God's will to be done in and through US.
Obama is a pompous person who thinks he can do anything, never to be held accountable and now finding out that without a teleprompter, he is an empty suit, unable to stand tall and impressive. Whoever inputs that teleprompter is the "brain" behind this man!
Mitt Romney displayed a man with confidence and trust in God and the American people, that together, we can turn this country around.
Romney is not seeking power. He wants to use his expertise given to him by Almighty God, to save thi country from the aftermath of Obama's rule and reign with secretive means with his czars and anyone who honors him.
Thank God for His intervention. Continue to pray for His will to be done here on earth just as it is in Heaven, where Peace/Love/Joy fill the atmosphere!
Thank You Jesus for coming to set the captives free! Satan must flee when we seek His presence!
May this country be grateful for this man (Romney) who "chooses" to stand up for the gigantic chore of "cleaning" the government that has sought to control US, not bringing US together as our forefathers foresaw their responsibility.

I hope that 0bama does try to play the race card in the next debate. It will be the clearest sign possible of the desperation in the WH. Romney will be ready for it. Hopefully he will say something Reaganesque like, "Is that all you've got?".

While entitled, oh so entitled, #2, that isn't helpful. I'm probably the most anti-cult parishioner of this here Mother Church, and I see Mr. Romney as part of the solution.
While I'm at it, I might as well get flame-proofed on immigrants. Perhaps the family-centric, religious Mexicans we've so decried will help us get rid of all the focus on gay marriage when they vote on the matter. Gays have ALWAYS BEEN free to be together any way they choose. But that's a subject for another debate.

I think the point of the article is well taken, an election is NOT a rational process. People often choose a candidate because they like him. Or because their friends like him. Or that he is a sharp dresser. Or because he is good looking. Or that he had an appearance on Oprah or Letterman. Or because their favorite TV star endorses him. Or because they think he is a winner.
Real events can erode some of those good perceptions. No doubt that many people that support BO are still disappointed in his presidency. But the support remains.
Until, for some, sometimes insignificant reason, their opinion shifts. And they no longer like him enough to support him. And for some strange reason, it can happen like a wave, with many people coming to the same recognition simultaneously.
BO on a debate stage, naked without his media shield, was seen to be incapable of standing up to Mitt Romney. His demeanor was uncomfortable and angry. He doesn't seem worthy of respect or support. He was pitiable but not electable. Will that be the beginning of the wave? Perhaps?

From here, there are two alternatives: 1. the fake president decides he'd rather spend his days golfing in Hawaii and lets Romney win by default, and 2. in collusion with the MSM, the sneakiest, most insidious October Surprise is unleashed, either as a bomb from above or as a million invisible snakes in the grass, and the nation stands on the brink, in effect, of a coup d'etat. I'm hoping for alternative 1.
Alternative 3, that the Democrats will conduct an honest campaign from here to November 6 - LOL!!!

The next debate (October 16th) on foreign and domestic policy, employs a “Town Meeting” format. Since Obama, his advisors and the LSM have all shown that they are more than willing to lie and cheat to retain power, the risk that the Dems and/or the Moderator (CNN’s Candy Crowley) will try to stack the audience with liberal ideologues or screen the questions in advance to favor Obama; Romney must be prepared to face a stacked deck.
However, I certainly wouldn’t be surprised if Obama tries to avoid the debate. A likely scenario would be to have a seal team or squad of drones attack the “secret base” of the al Qaeda group that attacked our Consulate in Benghazi. The attack will occur within the last 24 hours before the scheduled debate and Obama will bow out to handle the crisis. Although it’s been reported that US intelligence had identified and begun tracking some of the terrorists within 24 hours of the attack, Obama will announce that, “we just found out where they were located and had to act fast.” You know, just like the attack on bin Laden that he postponed at least 3 times.

I'm sorry, did I just hear you helping the President with his answer? Why don't you help me, don't you believe in sharing the wealth?
Really, you cut me off mid sentence and moved to another subject! You gave President Obama a pass and let him go over for at least 3 minutes on a previous question, is that fair? I think not, I demand time to rebut the prior discussion where you cut me off.
And So on.
Make the MSM goon like a terrorist, pounce on them for their obvious bias and unfairness...believe me the MSM is in the tank for Obie and Mitt can use that against both of them!

I'm going to go with the Chicoms on the validity of this.
Way back in the 190s, I lived in Southeast Asia. A series of events in Indonesia were so strange and unfortunate that all the Indonesians knew something was really wrong even though the president was still in power. The series went like this:
*A Filipino engineer fell out of an airplane after exposing a big gold mine investment as fake. Eerie.
*Haze like nothing ever seen in Asia came as the result of forest fires in Sumatra. Nobody could breathe or see. The smoke and fire were a symbol of something.
*The currency devalued, the final domino in a chain of currency devaluations all through the region. Really serious.
*The central bank building burned.
*Suharto insisted he would run for office one last time. Everyone thought this was insane, he was too old.
*The currency REALLY devalued, terrifying the public. Banks collapsed, billboards through the capital went blank, radios in the countryside went silent, all was eerie.
*The IMF rolled in and fuel subsidies ended. Cooking oil prices shot through the roof. People were enraged.
*Students began protesting. Three students were shot at Trisakti University. Bells were ringing all over the place, this had never happened before.
*Suharto went to Egypt for a nonaligned conference meeting.
*The city exploded into riots and was on fire by the time Suharto came back. Chinatown burned. The military shot up skyscraper windows.
*Within a week or two, Suharto was out. It all felt like the mandate of heaven had left him.

Obama never had a 'mandate of heaven'. It was conferred on him by his worshippers. Sadly, Proverbs 6:16-19 seems to be the realm in which he prefers to operate. His core beliefs and remorseless lying separate him from God's true blessings. Neither skin color nor political 'savvy' is a substitute for integrity or godly character.
#17, #30 and #31, I join you in asking God to give us leaders who can/will take steps to correct our course. I was not sure of Romney. But, a man who practices the higher moral tenets of his faith and lives with integrity is better than one who does not. Both the deceived and the deceiver must answer to God.
(1) Ask God to help the 'askers', 'seekers' and 'knockers' to find the truths hidden in B/O's past. The secret things belong to God who knows where everything is on earth. We need irrefutable, indisputable truth (whatever it is) before Election Day. (2) Pray that God will shatter the media's conspiracy of silence. (3) And that God will open the eyes of the American people. We must know where this nation is headed under B/O or Romney to be fully responsible for the consequences of our vote.
God loves America and will help us to keep the rights He gave us. Keep praying and thanking God. Don't lose heart. We serve a God who hears and answers prayers! :-)

In one of his more well-publicized gaffes, Vice President Biden said of John McCain: "Look, John´s last-minute economic plan does nothing to tackle the number-one job facing the middle class, and it happens to be, as Barack says, a three-letter word: jobs. J-O-B-S, jobs." Actually, of course, it´s a four-letter word, and it was his job and the president´s to create a climate for job expansion, and they failed. The evidence is now overwhelming: they have created the worst employment climate in decades.

When your article inspires a big-city mayor to refer your case to a "human-relations commission," you know you´ve hit a nerve. And when that article is the recent "Being White in Philly" piece by liberal Robert Huber, you know it doesn´t take much truth to hit that nerve. That´s the scary part. Huber´s article contains mostly tepid examples of whites´ negative experiences with blacks and primarily black neighborhoods, such as a Philadelphia resident whose grill was stolen from her backyard but "blames herself" for not fencing it in. Its tone is basically apologetic, absolving a drug dealer of responsibility

That´s something to remember when you arrive there next week. Israel has a government, elected by its people in a free, fair, open and democratic election. Multiple parties representing widely divergent points of view met a wildly diverse electorate through free media and open debate. This is no stultified two-party affair with a libertarian insurgency. Israel will be the only country you visit in the region, this time or any other, that has a fully democratic system. Do not be swayed by the "apartheid" slander. Citizens of Israel are Jews, Moslems, Christians, and Druze, each with religious and non-religious elements.

Prodded by a president with a weakness for racial agitation and enabled by a politically complicit media, the State of Florida persists in a prosecution that can come to no good end. The defendant is neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman. The charge is the second-degree murder. The potential outcomes range from major injustice, if Zimmerman is convicted, to mayhem in the streets, if he´s acquitted. And the state plods on as though the angels were on its side. They are not. The witnesses to the February 2012 shooting of 17 year-old Trayvon Martin are proving even more troublesome

The political world changed its orbit Wednesday as Rand Paul seized the spotlight in his March 6 filibuster. Rand Paul -- not this author´s favorite before -- is probably now the 2016 front-runner for president. But the difference results from fundamental changes in substance. How can one day be that big of a deal? Because Rand Paul demonstrated a reproducible, winning formula. It was as if Ronald Reagan were granted just one day to come back to Earth to remind the Party of Lincoln of "how it´s done." Rand demonstrated a repeatable formula that all Republicans can copy.

Sixty-three months ago Barack Obama officially declared his candidacy for President. Only now are some among the so-called media and ruling elites in America slowly awakening from their self-induced infatuation and beginning to understand who he is. It has become difficult to ignore the overt intimidation, demagoguery and deliberate falsehoods spewed forth by Obama relative to sequestration -- a miniscule cut in the growth of federal spending. However, any cursory examination of his past reveals that these tactics are second nature to the man who currently occupies the Oval Office.

Years ago, when I used to play poker with some guys, I played a hand in which across the table from me was someone who looked as though he had a straight flush. He kept pumping up the bidding and everyone folded but me. When we finally showed our hands he had nothing. "You don´t know what you´re doing," he yelled. "Any good player would have folded! Why did you stay in?" he shouted angrily. "Because you curled your lip and reacted furiously when I stayed in. Someone with a winning hand would never do that."

By law, on Friday the executive must begin to cut $85 billion from federal spending. Though, as is his wont, the president is blaming the Republicans for what he claims is a draconian measure. No less a Washington chronicler of events than Bob Woodward of the Washington Post considers that a gross distortion of the truth [T]he automatic spending cuts were initiated by the White House and were the brainchild of [Treasury Secretary nominee Jack] Lew and White House congressional relations chief Rob Nabors -- probably the foremost experts on budget issues in the senior ranks of the federal government.

Too little serious conservative analysis of the 2012 presidential campaign has yet appeared. This is understandable. The results of the election were disheartening to the point of shock. The campaign defied all historical precedent, all commonsense interpretation. The Romney ticket should not have lost and did not deserve to lose. The Democrats, fielding the least worthy ticket in the past century -- and that´s saying something -- did not deserve to win. The reasons they did are myriad and complex. But before we get too far down the road, there is one lesson that has to be grasped:

No, I´m not talking about Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael (God rest Michael´s tortured soul). I´m talking about the Chicago Jacksons, Jesse Sr. and Jesse Jr. The Jackson 5 in their heyday gave plenty: music, entertainment, and joy to their fans. The Chicago Jacksons are another story. Jesse Sr. (The Right Reverend) and his son (the erstwhile congressman) have done a lot more taking than giving. "Taking" may be too charitable a word. Shaking down and wheedling may be better descriptors for the Chicago Jacksons´ acts.

By now you likely have heard that Chris Rock considers Barack Obama America´s father. If that is true, then would somebody call Child Protective Services and find us foster parents! For Chris Rock, America´s true Founding Fathers were disappointingly white. I suspect that whatever the color of America´s Founding Fathers might have been, they would not have approved of having a failure like Obama among their esteemed membership. Thought the Founding Fathers had many flaws, they were smart enough to eliminate the self-indulgent institution of slavery from America´s future.

The murder trial of abortionist Kermit Gosnell largely is being ignored by the mainstream media, even in the face of grisly testimony, such as what we heard yesterday. Life News reports: ...a former employee described how she heard a baby scream during a live-birth abortion. Abortion clinic employee Sherry West described an incident which "really freaked (her) out" and related to the jury how she heard a child who was born alive following an abortion scream.

West Virginia Democratic Sen. Jay Rockefeller, one of the towering architects of Obamacare, on Tuesday openly criticized program managers for not moving quickly enough to build the system, warning that if it gets off to a bumpy start it will just get worse. Decrying the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act as way too complex, he warned the acting Medicare director that Obamacare is "so complicated and if it isn´t done right the first time, it will just simply get worse."

The sequester may have many across the country singing the blues, but for President Obama, it was all about Memphis Soul. Even with the threat of furloughs and government cuts sparked by the sequester, Obama took the time to enjoy a star-studded concert at the White House tonight. The White House celebration of Memphis Soul music in the East Room--which included special guest appearances by Queen Latifah and Justin Timberlake--is likely to rile Obama´s Republican foes. Some conservatives have called on Obama to give up golf, especially since popular public tours of the White House have been canceled because of

In the message he issued along with his budget proposal on Wednesday morning, President Barack Obama said he wants to see 4-year-old children in the United States enrolled in public schools. Obama said America needs to start enrolling 4-year-olds to make sure the children are “better prepared for the demands of the global economy” and to help parents save on "child-care costs." After saying the United States needs to “equip our citizens with the skills and training” to fill jobs in manufacturing, energy and infrastructure, Obama said, “And that has to start at the earliest possible age.”

Although the first votes on gun -control legislation have yet to be cast, by some measures the National Rifle Association has already won. Obama’s ambitious plans to ban assault weapons and limit magazine capacities are off the table, while the NRA suggested it could support the most likely outcome -- expanded background checks -- as recently as 1999. The NRA claims that the president’s efforts have triggered a fundraising surge and boosted its membership from 4 million to nearly 5 million.

During the Q and A session after Sen. Rand Paul’s speech at Howard University, one student explained that he was not a fan of his view of government. “You say you want to provide a government that leaves us alone, quite frankly, I don’t want that,” the student said. “I want a government that is going to help me.” The student insisted that he wanted assistance for his college education and asked if Rand Paul supported a culture change within the nation. “Do you Sen. Rand Paul have a formulated solution to come up with new American values

State Attorney General Bob Ferguson on Tuesday filed a consumer protection lawsuit against Arlene’s Flowers & Gifts, a Richland florist that refused to supply flowers to the same-sex marriage of a longtime customer. Ferguson said he sent a March 28 letter to owner Barronelle Stutzman asking her to reconsider and supply flowers to customer Robert Ingersoll. Through an attorney, Stutzman declined to change her position.“As Attorney General, it is my job to enforce the laws of the state of Washington,” said Ferguson. “Under the Consumer Protection Act, it is unlawful to discriminate

Liberals descended on Pennsylvania Avenue Tuesday to protest President Barack Obama´s decision to include entitlement cuts in his upcoming budget, delivering 2 million petitions demanding the White House back off its support for the chained CPI. As we reported this weekend, liberals have been seething over the inclusion of the chained CPI in Obama´s budget, which they see as a huge betrayal by the Democratic president. This week, progressive groups, including MoveOn, the Progressive Change Campaign Committee, and Democracy for America, have mounted "emergency" online campaigns against the proposal, accusing Obama of

Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius conceded Monday that implementing the Affordable Care Act has been more complicated and frustrating than the Obama administration expected, largely due to Republicans who have opposed the law´s state-based exchanges and Medicaid expansion. "The politics has been relentless and that continues," Sebelius said. "There was some hope that once the Supreme Court ruled in July, and then once an election occurred there would be a sense that, ´This is the law of the land, let´s get on board, let´s make this work.´"

In a stunning end to one of the most aggressively unsuccessful tenures in retail history, JCPenney (JCP) last night announced that CEO Ron Johnson would be leaving effective immediately. Myron Ullman, Johnson´s predecessor at JCPenney, takes office as CEO. When Johnson was initially wooed by JCPenney, it was to serve as CEO with Ullman as Chairman. In January 2012, Ullman was unceremoniously removed from the board. Gone with Ullman was any control the Board of Directors had over Ron Johnson and his control of JCPenney resources. The state of California is reportedly considering legislation that would force group insurance policies to provide infertility treatment for gay and lesbian couples. Two men who have sex with each other for a year and do not produce a baby would be considered “infertile” under the proposed legislation. So would two women having sex. Since biology does not allow those without a uterus to conceive or those without a penis to impregnate, every year-long gay couple in California would potentially be covered by this new provision of California law.
