| Pundits have ridiculed the string of fluff television, radio, and magazine appearances that Barack Obama has been making the last few months. They are wrong. He has a strategy and is executing it well. He is seeking and winning the votes of those Michelle Obama calls knuckleheads. Inside-the-Beltway journalists have decried Barack Obama's refusal to hold many press conferences. His canned speeches and reliance on the teleprompter have provided them with precious few chances to score points among their colleagues for gotcha questions.

Comments:
What too many conservative pundits call frivolous behavior from the "president" may in fact be tactically shrewd. Charming clueless watchers of The View or Letterman while snubbing world leaders may end up giving Obama a larger percentage of Moron Votes and an electoral advantage he knows he'd never get from responsible, thinking people. This is a clever ploy by the campaign, made possible by the insidious collusion of the cover-up media.

Well, why else would Obama make so many appearances at colleges? Also, mostly liberal institutions where cameras get to catch all the Obamabots swooning and cheering? It is a strategy.

Again Zippy's so-called "likeability" factor is brought up again in juxtaposition to Romney. There is not ONE thing I find likeable about Zip, not one single thing. If we had a real media this upcoming election would be a no contest landslide for the Governor.

I have long believed that prostitutes pretending to be journalists are much more dangerous to democracy than our resident Muslim Moron will ever be. Additionally, we have a bumper crop of empty heads thanks to the 60's Flower Children of college faculties and the teachers unions which they spawned.

Let’s take a step back and recognize the breadth and width of the Obama administration’s assault on the US economy. We tend to divide ourselves along economic lines, upper, middle and lower or working class. It’s clear that Barack Obama has a plan for all three levels. If you’re a top earner, in his mind you’ve “made enough money” and should pay more in taxes. That’s his plan for the wealthy: Pay more taxes. This will take some money out of investments and companies and send it to the government. Some jobs will be either lost or aborted.

One of the least remarked upon aspects of President Obama’s inaugural speech was his attempt to co-opt the Founding Fathers’ Declaration of Independence to bolster his liberal-left agenda. In college I read a novel called The Last of the Just by André Schwarz-Bart inspired by a legend/theory from the Talmud — that there are thirty-six righteous souls (the Lamed Vav) in every generation whose existence justifies “the purpose of mankind” to God. Being just weeks away from reaching our debt ceiling and with frightening talk about a fiscal cliff, there´s much sympathy in Washington for tax increases. Even conservatives are wavering. A few Republicans have dumped their anti-tax pledges, and former Nixon official-turned-actor Ben Stein favors taxing the wealthy. He says that we can´t cut our way to a balanced budget and insists that the revenue end must be addressed. Small minds always leap to the answers given the last time around, which is probably why Maxine Waters keeps getting re-elected. But the last time is not necessarily the same as this time. Do you remember the tale of "The Gingerbread Man"? It´s a children´s story in which a gingerbread man runs away from the baker, lots of people try to catch him as he crows, "Run, run as fast as you can/ You can´t catch me I´m the gingerbread man." In the version I remember a fox finally does catch the braggart and eats him piece by piece. This week, in defending the public statements of his UN Ambassador Susan Rice, Obama said we should come after him, not her. Pugnacious remark -- just like the gingerbread man´s.

I have never been so unhappy to be right. I've long said that Barack Obama would win re-election, and two weeks ago I stated as much in print. In making this prediction, I was almost alone among traditionalist pundits, with some, such as Dick Morris (Mr. Batting Zero), actually forecasting a Mitt Romney landslide. And, no, I'm not pointing this out to numb despair with some perverse kind of gloating, like a man consumed in flames looking to suck on an ice cube. It's because of why I knew that Romney would lose: America is lost.

In January of 2009, when President Obama took office, the unemployment rate was 7.8%. Four years and around $5 trillion dollars in debt later, it's 7.9%. When Obama took office the long-term unemployment (U-6) rate was 14.2%. Today, it's 14.6%. Obama promised us 5.2%. And, still, the media celebrates the jobs numbers. Yesterday´s promised but cancelled news briefing is just one symptom.
