The CIA and Seals should start with the State Department and work outwards from there. The terrorist hit men, while important, are by no means the only ones to blame for what happened in Benghazi. Everything indicates this atrocity was foreseeable, indeed foreseen. It was preventable. The hunt for the killers should not distract us from discovering the people in the U.S. government who were incompetent or asleep at the switch and who practically invited the disaster to happen.

So I suggest you announce a special speech from the White House, or Congress, or even during the Debate tomorrow night. And at that time take credit for ordering the hunt. You deserve it. Doesn't this guy ever consult with Congress before taking military action? A president has authority to strike in response to imminent threat without congressional authorization, but not to send in hit men to bolster his re-election effort.

Say a prayer for the SEALs; they will need all the help they can get. And they need to hurry up so that there is some money in the defense budget before Obama's stupid sequestration policy goes into effect.

Did he consult with Congress? There is still a constitution. Two weeks time is enough to get a phone all or two through to the Intelligence Committee and the Armed Forces Committee.
