Is there a Republican landslide coming in November?

| It would be an election night to remember for Republicans and conservatives if the Romney/Ryan presidential ticket wins in a landslide, but nothing short of shock and awe for Democrats and their liberal media allies based on the latest polls. Quick to sweep the historic Republican election landslide in 2010 and Scott Walker's big victory in Wisconsin's recall election under the rug, Democrats and the liberal media have been treating Obama's dismal record on the economy and foreign policy the same way they treated those elections - like they never happened.

We will walk through broken glass on election day. The future depends on us. Volunteer to be a poll watcher...make phone calls...walk with your local candidates.
Have no regrets. It's up to us.

Contrary to many of our political ''betters'', Governor Romney will will the election.
I cannot understand the hatred out there for the Republican candidate. Did my first choice win the primaries? No, but I am firmly behind Governor Romney and I cannot wait to vote.

I leave in California. We're the forgotten voters when it comes to Presidential choice. We may be a lost cause but in the end, the pundits will be surprised come November 6th when the biggest state in the union makes a huge statement for Romney.

There is plenty of hatred - irrational, in my view - for Romney but it comes from the left. On the conservative side, don't see hate. Impatience with a slow, moderated McCain-like campaign.
I hope Romney calls out Zippy in the debate for the 920+ executive orders that the National Socialist has signed. And inform voters why this is not only un-American but anti-American. Clinton tripled the historical average of EO's from 5 to 15; Bush #43 quadrupled that to 62 or 63; under B0 it has skyrocketed and for what purpose? POWER in the hands of 1 man. This is what I want Romney to hammer home in the debate. Ramona (the Pest)

It's not just Romney or Obama! When Obama goes, so too do: Biden; Hillary; Holder; Napolitano; Geithner; Sebelius; Susan Rice; Bernanke; Steve "paint your roof white" Chu; Hansen [at NASA]; and the rest!
Can anyone seriously say all that's not worth anything it takes? Anyone?
#4: Technically, it's called "whining." The primary purpose of the exercise is so that the whiner can "demonstrate" his "superiority" to the "gullible" who support the actual nominee, whether during the primaries or now. Such whining is seen by the whiner as de facto evidence of his moral superiority. He'd rather be consumed by the flames of his phony "purity" than "compromise" his "principles" by taking the 3/4 loaf that's available. But I'm sure you do know that, and are venting, as one must. Thanks!

I live in Mexiforniaco, and the chances of this place voting for Romney are non-existent. Here is one problem. The place is over run with illegal Mexicans, much like a full garbage can is over run with cockroaches. When they get in the state the first thing they all do is go sign up for Food Stamps. When they sign up, they are automatically asked if they want to register to vote. No proof of citizenship is required. Of course they register to vote as Democrats and they vote for Democrats. That's why Democrats have a lock on this state that is only getting worse.

I am hoping and praying along with others that Romney and the Repubs will make a big win in November. Romney/Ryan will be our main hope to start healing all the damage done by the 'RATS and their media Allies since the 'RATS took over Congress back around 2006. I still believe the 'RATS are the ones who engineered the economic collapse to scare Americans into voting for "change" when in fact they caused most of the problems. It is like a fireman who goes around starting fires so he and the fireman company can put out the fires and appear to be heroes to the community. Do people realize how scary it was to hear DemocRATS booing God at their DNC convention? It gives me the shivers. Only inhuman Marxists and Socialists would boo our Christian God.

Some of Manhattan’s wealthiest neighborhoods are exploding in a wave of violent crime that hearkens back to the bad old days when people feared going out at night, according to NYPD data obtained by The Post. Chelsea, Gramercy Park, TriBeCa, SoHo and Midtown South all posted a frightening rise in rapes in the first three months of 2013 compared with the same period in 2012. Felony assaults in the usually peaceful West Village nearly tripled, the new crime statistics show. Greenwich Village’s 6th Precinct tied the Rockaways’ grimy 100th Precinct for the city’s biggest year-to-date overall

A career criminal who stole a truck containing President Obama´s audio equipment was sentenced Thursday to seven years in federal prison. Sentencing guidelines called for a term of about three years, but Eric Brown of Richmond, Va., agreed to the longer sentence to avoid prosecution for 14 similar truck thefts in three localities. However, he could still face charges in Stafford County, which did not join Chesterfield, Hanover and Henrico counties in the agreement. Brown pleaded guilty in January to theft of government property. "The theft of government property is a serious offense,"

President Barack Obama’s advocacy organization Organizing for Action (OFA) raised over $4.8 million from first-quarter donors, including the chairman of a major lobbying firm, wealthy progressives affiliated with the secretive Democracy Alliance, and a member of popular 1990s hip-hop group the Fugees, according to a list of first quarter contributors released by the group today. OFA has agreed to disclose limited information about its $250-and-up donors on a quarterly basis. The group, which evolved out of President Barack Obama’s campaign arm, had previously been criticized for evading mandatory donor disclosure by registering as a 501(c)(4) nonprofit group.

MOSCOW – Russia slapped sanctions on a pair of former top Bush administration officials, two former commanders of the Guantanamo detention center, and 14 other Americans in retaliation for a set of human rights sanctions the Obama administration imposed on a number of Russian citizens on Friday. In a statement, Russia’s Foreign Ministry said it was forced to respond to the American “blackmail,” which it warned would harm US-Russia relations. The Kremlin had prepared a list of over 100 American officials in advance of Friday’s announcement, warning its response would be proportionate to the Obama administration’s actions.

The shooting of a 34-year-old man Friday night pulled a crowd of angry people onto a chilly South Side street where they loudly called for retribution against the man suspected of the killing. About 100 residents of the apartment complex where Kevin Sanders was killed circled the front door of a building where the alleged shooter had holed up. The suspect, who police said had been shot in apparent retaliation, had gone there after the shooting. It´s not clear what set off the violence. Sanders, 34, had been shot about 11:10 p.m. in a courtyard between buildings in

Pro golfers, golf writers, and TV commentators are up in arms that Tiger Woods was only given a 2-stroke penalty for his illegal drop on the 15th hole yesterday. Tiger said last night that he dropped his ball two yards behind his previous spot, clearly violating the rule that you must drop "as nearly as possible" to your original spot. Golf people are not happy about it. They say that the new rule is B.S. (or it´s at least being misinterpreted), and Tiger should DQ himself to save the integrity of the game.

In Philadelphia, at a human abattoir on Lancaster Avenue, is where it ends, not where it starts. It starts with the perversion of language. It starts when the icons of a dissipated culture reduce a baby to a “fetus.” From there, Yeats’s blood-dimmed tide rolls rapidly in. Before long, a baby is not a person but a punishment, as President Barack Obama framed the matter in his familiar off-the-cuff iciness. Of course, to describe newborn children in their boundless possibilities and wonder would be to acknowledge, foremost, their humanity. That is why, instead, abortion enthusiasts must grope for words

The law, said Rockefeller, is “so complicated and if it isn’t done right the first time, it will just simply get worse.” Rockefeller’s consternation echoes comments made earlier this

With President Obama, there’s always a catch. In the 2014 budget he announced last week, Obama proposed a more accurate way of calculating the inflation rate for annual cost-of-living increases in Social Security. It’s a technical change in pursuit of honesty and good government. And if adopted, it would cause benefits to grow more slowly, though almost imperceptibly so. Republican leaders in Congress ought to be delighted since they had “championed”—Obama’s word—the idea in the first place. Then came the catch. The president’s price for adopting this gentle reform was hundreds of billions in new tax increases.

Only one of my six children has left New York for economic reasons but the strain of living in this expensive nanny state is weighing heavy on my other five and their families. As a native New Yorker, I´ve seen its middle class population decline over the years due to its neglect of blue collar families which is ironic since this is a Democrat city. With the recent arrests of several local politicians for corruption perhaps New Yorkers will pay more attention to those they put in office. Given their past indifference in local elections this is highly unlikely.

A few hours after Margaret Thatcher´s death on Monday, the snarling deadbeats of the British underclass were gleefully rampaging through the streets of Brixton in South London, scaling the marquee of the local fleapit and hanging a banner announcing, "THE B@&$! Mrs. Thatcher would have enjoyed all this. Her former speechwriter John O´Sullivan recalls how, some years after leaving office, she
