Media Watch: WaPo: 'Will
Romney Reach out to Racists?'

Breitbart Big Journalism, by John Nolte

Original Article

Posted By:JoniTx, 10/1/2012 8:40:53 PM

According to Wikipedia and another source, The Root is an online magazine devoted to black culture. It's also owned byThe Washington Post. Saturday, The Root published an entire article devoted to this headline: Will Romney Reach out to Racists in Debates? The subtext of the article is even more noxious; that if Romney does win it will be due to racism: Now the Romney campaign finds itself at a crossroads. With just over a month to go before the election, the question becomes: Will he be willing to do what McCain wasn't, in order to win at any cost?

It would be nice to have the NAACP's endorsement...what'll he offer, Romney cars with 250 gallons of gas...to search for emergency work?

That's a tautology. Romney would be reaching out to folks who thus would not be voting for Obama. Anyone who does not vote for Obama is a racist. Therefore Romney is reaching out to racists.

There is an old "Andy Griffith" episode where Andy and Barney end up running against each other for sheriff of Mayberry. At the end of a debate Barney sees the light and pledges his vote to Andy. The msm will not be happy unless Romney withdraws from the election and asks all his supporters to vote for obama. Anything short of that (no matter what answers Romney gives) will be deemed racist. Frankly, I am sick of these people.

President Barack Obama went one-on-one with NBC Sports anchor Bob Costas in an interview before the Winter Olympics opening ceremony aired for the primetime audience in the U.S. Obama — a tired-looking Obama, we should add — talked to Costas from the White House, not from Sochi (the interview was recorded Thursday). Costas addressed that in his first question to the president. Why didn´t he attend the Olympics? And why didn´t the vice president, the first lady or any other high-ranking members of the president´s cabinet? Obama´s response: Unfortunately, I haven´t had a chance to go to the Olympics since

The Obama administration is moving forward with tougher energy efficiency standards that would cost manufacturers more than $70 million, but save consumers billions of dollars in energy bills. The Department of Energy (DOE) said the new requirements for metal halide lamp fixtures and external power supplies will cut energy waste, save families money on their utility bills and reduce pollution. The Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (OEERE) — a branch of the Energy Department that is behind the rules, which strengthen existing standards — plans to publish both in Monday´s Federal Register. Former President Bill Clinton will hit the campaign trail in Kentucky later this month for Democrat Alison Lundergan Grimes, who is challenging Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, a Republican, in one of the marquee races of the 2014 midterm election cycle. Clinton "called and said he wanted to make this race his top priority,” Grimes said in an interview with the Courier-Journal confirming Clinton´s plans. The appearance on the stump, at an event in Louisville on Feb. 25, will be the first for Clinton during the midterm election cycle. Upwards of a half a million dollars. That’s what more than half of President Obama’s second-term political appointments raised for his re-election campaign, according to data gathered from the American Foreign Service Association and the Center For Responsive Politics. Rewarding donors and political allies with ambassadorships is nothing new, but Obama vowed to buck the tradition, promising shortly after he was elected to “have civil servants, wherever possible, serve in these posts.” “My expectation is that high quality civil servants are going to be rewarded,” he said in a January 2009 news conference. In fact, Obama has rewarded political supporters

President Obama on Friday signed a five-year farm bill into law, marking the hard-fought legislative accomplishment with eight Democratic members of Congress by his side. Before signing the bill before a crowd of about 500 at Michigan State University, Mr. Obama said the bill “doesn´t include everything I´d like to see,” but is “a good sign” for bipartisan progress in Congress. The number of lawmakers not present for the signing, however, suggests the bill’s success hasn’t built much bipartisan good will. About 50 lawmakers, including many Republicans, were invited to attend the bill signing, White House spokesman Jay Carney told

A private girls´ school in Northern California wanted to incorporate Black History Month into lunch time, so it decided to serve fried chicken, watermelon, and cornbread. AUSTIN, Texas — The Wild West tradition of openly carrying your six-shooter on the street has long been banned in Texas under state law. But the next governor could change that. Rising Democratic star and gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis has joined her top Republican rival in supporting a proposed "open carry" law. But I guess I´m kind of curious: Is there much of a case to be made for anyone other than Paul Ryan? On the substantive side, Ryan sure seems like he´s setting himself up for a run. There´s his steady series of "unheralded" anti-poverty outreach trips that always manage to be just heralded enough to get sympathetic press coverage. This is either a glaring admission of defeat from the White House or… no, that’s really all it could be. After weeks of defending the cancellation of health plans insurers discontinued in 2013 in order to comply with the Affordable Care Act’s coverage mandates, the White House announced in November of last year that it was urging insurers to reinstate those plans. The catch was, of course, that most insurers would be unable to turn on a dime and reinstate those plans. Furthermore, the administration allowed individual states leeway to determine whether or not they would even allow insurers to reinstate
