Pat Caddell: Media Have Become An "Enemy Of The American People"
Real Clear Politics, by Ian Schwartz

| In recent remarks to an AIM conference, "ObamaNation: A Day of Truth," former Democratic pollster and analyst Pat Caddell said, "I think we're at the most dangerous time in our political history in terms of the balance of power in the role that the media plays in whether or not we maintain a free democracy." Caddell noted that while First Amendment protections were originally provided to the press so they would protect the liberty and freedom of the public from "organized governmental power," they had clearly relinquished the role of impartial news providers.

The "Fourth Estate" was named so for the press to protect us from the other three branches of government. Now they are liberal lackies that avoid the news if it is not in their political interest. Pat is right on and dangerous times will arise if this continues. And I do mean a real revolution.

Poor Pat believes, as do most all libtards, that we are a democracy...sad how a little ignorance causes such problems. If we were a democracy we'd have tanked already - as the founders knew well and wrote about when they explained why a representative constitutionally limited republic was a better form of government. But our ancestors didn't closely guard the tree of liberty and execute all who sought to turn it into firewood - now we have to solve the problem, once enough citizens wake up to reality, which isn't a TV show, BTW.

The Media ARE the enemy of the American People.
Look how they lie to us.
Look how they cover up for politicians they favor.
Look how they censor the truth.
Look how they act as attack dogs for the Democrat Party.
These people aren't "journalists." They're propagandists for an agenda which seeks to end individual freedom in America.
They HATE us. They hate us for believing in God. They hate us for citing the Constitution. They hate us for constantly pointing out their lies and their bias. These pieces of excrement control our national dialogue, and once again they seek to throw an election for their CommieCrat masters.
It's up to us to DEFY THEM.

There a very, very, very few Democrats left with a conscience and a functioning brain. They are emotionally tied to that party, despite all reason, but will have to jump ship sooner or later.
Caddell is accusing the excremental MSM of treason, by the way. And I wholeheartedly agree.

There has to be more than one old school dem besides Caddel that doesn't like the far left bolt other dems have signed up for.. The problem is they're afraid to speak out against Obama for whatever reason.
For sure, the media has finally dropped the pretense that they're objective and are proud of their bias for supporting a black president.
The dems can feel the election slipping away, that's why you see headlines like racism could decide the election. They have no clue the rebellion is against the anti-American position Obama takes on everything. If Obama was white he would have gotten a primary opponent.

Agree with #15. I have two elderly great-uncles who served overseas in WWII. They were farm-raised, hard=working blue collars who raised good families, went to church & are some of the most trustworthy people I know. They became dems back when they felt that the dem party represented the working man. They are not liberal & they fought against communism & fascism. I don't think that they fully understand the way the dem party has changed in recent years. Because of their ages, they are the ONLY dems I excuse for their vote.

Mainstream media publications immediately exploited the passing of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher on Monday to again advance their political agendas by falsely smearing former Alaska Gov. and Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin. In a rush to write whatever they could to tarnish both, outlets like Politico and the Washington Post resorted to "reporting" on a fictitious story and an imaginary trip that have already been debunked years ago. The Post, a publication known for its liberal agenda, immediately "re-upped" the debunked story about Thatcher having snubbed Palin when Chris Cillizza,

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, the 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate, is gearing up for 2014. Her SarahPAC came out with a video on Wednesday aimed at fueling the conservative fires for a dramatic comeback in the midterm elections. The “Loaded for Bear” video features tea party favorite Sen. Ted Cruz talking of Mrs. Palin’s successes in the 2010 election that saw the rise of Sens. Marco Rubio, Rand Paul and Jeff Flake, Breitbart reports. “Sarah Palin picks winners,” Mr. Cruz says in the video. And the statement does hold truth. Former Sen. Jim DeMint,

Former GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin mocked President Obama, GOP consultant Karl Rove and the mainstream media in a folksy speech to a gathering of conservative activists outside Washington Saturday. During her address to the Conservative Political Action Conference, or CPAC, Palin accused Obama of failing to lead, instead maintaining a permanent campaign approach of demonizing the opposition. True leadership, she said, means "ending the poisonous practice of treating members of different social, ethnic and religious groups as different electorates, pandered to with different promises."

While Barack Obama is busy shredding the Constitution, Washington, D.C. insider Karl Rove is busy trying to destroy what is left of the Republican Party by launching a multi-million dollar Super PAC to usurp representative democracy, disenfranchise American voters, and concentrate even more power in Washington DC. Rove and the professional “consultant class” think that only Washington D.C. insiders like them – not the American people – should get to decide who runs for public office. That’s why he is launching the “Conservative Victory Project” – a Super PAC whose mandate is

In Sarah Palin´s interview with Stephen Bannon, the documentarian who chronicled her life in The Undefeated, she speaks forthrightly about her future plans now that she´s no longer tethered to a progressively moderate Fox News. But the meaning behind her words isn´t so clear. Short term: I encourage others to step out in faith, jump out of the comfort zone, and broaden our reach as believers in American exceptionalism. That means broadening our audience. I´m taking my own advice here as I free up opportunities to share more broadly the message of the beauty of freedom

President Barack Obama and, for that matter, most of America seem woefully ignorant about a scandal unfolding at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. As hard as it is to believe, outgoing Administrator Lisa Jackson actually appears to have had agency personnel create a fictitious employee by the name of “Richard Windsor” so that Jackson could appropriate the Windsor’s email address for her own purposes. In 1995, Sen. Diane Feinstein (D-CA) went on the record about the fact that she had a concealed carry permit and carried a concealed handgun when she walked back and forth to the hospital to see her ailing husband. She was also dealing with threats from a terror group, the World Liberation Front. The group had tried to bomb her house on one occasion and had shot out her windows on another. Reflecting on those moments, Feinstein said: I know the sense of helplessness that people feel, I know the urge to arm yourself, because that´s what I did.

Recently the former secretary of state -- rumored to be a Republican -- has been quite vocal in criticizing his own political party. In no way am I saying Republicans are above criticism and do everything right. But there´s something about Colin Powell´s recent attacks that sound so, so, well, so Democratic National Committee-ish. Take, for instance, this gem: "There is a dark vein of intolerance in this party. They still sort of look down on the minority." Sounds ominous, no? And it sounds like the refrain we heard from Democrats throughout the 2012 presidential campaign

Conservative commentator Ben Shapiro says in a new book that conservatives are getting bullied by the liberals — even by mild-mannered NBC news anchor Brian Williams. “Brian Williams is an excellent example of how the media bullies the right,” said Shapiro, author of the new book ”Bullies: How the Left’s Culture of Fear and Intimidation Silences Americans,” in an email. “He claims objectivity, but he’s obviously a leftist. I don’t mind bias – I’m biased. But I don’t lie about it. He sits atop NBC News, then allows his news outlet to slander George Zimmerman as a ‘white’ guy

Beginning a week of high pressure on gun control, the White House on Monday accused some Republican senators of cowardice for planning to filibuster gun legislation without allowing the full Senate to vote on President Obama’s initiatives. “If they oppose this legislation, have the courage to say so on the floor and vote no,” said White House press secretary Jay Carney. “Don’t block it. Don’t hide behind a procedural action to prevent a vote. That’s the wrong thing to do, and that’s how the president clearly feels.”

Margaret Thatcher had more impact on the world than any woman ruler since Catherine the Great of Russia. Not only did she turn around—decisively—the British economy in the 1980s, she also saw her methods copied in more than 50 countries. "Thatcherism" was the most popular and successful way of running a country in the last quarter of the 20th century and into the 21st. Her origins were humble. Born Oct. 13, 1925, she was the daughter of a grocer in the Lincolnshire town of Grantham. Alfred Roberts was no ordinary shopkeeper.
