Shifting Reports on Libya
Killings May Cost Obama

New York Times, by Mark Landler

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration’s shifting accounts of the fatal attack on the American diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya, have left President Obama suddenly exposed on national security and foreign policy, a field where he had enjoyed a seemingly unassailable advantage over Mitt Romney in the presidential race. After first describing the attack as a spontaneous demonstration run amok, administration officials now describe it as a terrorist act with possible involvement by Al Qaeda. The changing accounts prompted the spokesman for the nation’s top intelligence official, James R. Clapper Jr., to issue a statement on Friday

Obama’s foreign policy program of kissing up to the Muslims earned him a female canine slap upside the head weeks before the election. It’s hard to put lipstick on that, even though the NYT tries.

Rassmussen is already reporting that the seven point advantage that Mitt enjoys on trust in the economic area is rapidly being matched in the national security area as voters are waking up and beginning to take notice of the Libya fiasco. MSM's use of phrases like "unassailable", "significant" "double digit" is all whistling past the graveyard. Zippy is going down and going down big. Vote and ask others to vote.

'Shifting reports on Libya'.
Since it is Obama, the NYT is far too delicate to call them lies, but that is exactly what they have been.
Lies to the press, to the UN and to the American people.

Two weeks of lies about the murder of our Ambassador in Benghazi and placing the blame on some ex-con in California.
The 30AM call came, Obama went back to sleep and then lied in the morning.

VALENCIA, Venezuela – It´s just after nightfall and the power is out again in untold hundreds of thousands — probably millions — of Venezuelan homes. If the government knows how many, it´s not saying. It hasn´t issued reports on problems in the public power grid since 2010. In Venezuela´s third-largest city, Pedro Martinez dons a shirt for visitors drawn by the flicker of candles inside his one-story, cement-block house in a middle-class district. The Caribbean heat is sticky thick inside. A mesh hammock hangs by the front door. "This happens nearly every day," Martinez says of the blackout,

The death of Margaret Thatcher received extensive media coverage in Chile, proving that the “Dama de Hierro” (“Iron Lady”) is still capable of stirring powerful emotions among Chileans—of irritation among her opponents and admiration from her supporters. Her passing occurred while Heritage economic experts were in Santiago to present results for Chile in the 2013 Index of Economic Freedom (a publication that celebrates the core principles to which Prime Minister Thatcher dedicated her political career). Several Chileans told us why Thatcher mattered so much to them and why Chile mattered to her.

A former vice mayor exposed himself and masturbated in the direction of at least three different women while driving his car at 90mph, it emerged today. The women testified against former Mount Carmel Vice-Mayor William Blakely in Tennessee court last week and all described in graphic detail how he would get their attention while they were driving and then hang his penis out the car window. Victim Kelly Street testified: ´After the waving, it turned into a lot of beeping, him grabbing his chest area, and asking me going "please, please" [clasping hands together] with his hands, may I… show me yours.´

Rights activists reacted with indignation on Wednesday after Singapore´s High Court rejected a petition to repeal an archaic law criminalising sex between men. In a ruling issued on Tuesday, the court said it was up to parliament to repeal a controversial provision in the penal code known as Section 377A, whose constitutionality has been questioned by a gay couple. "The issue in the present case no doubt is challenging and important, but it is not one which, in my view, justifies heavy-handed judicial intervention ahead of democratic change," Judge Quentin Loh said in his verdict.

Documents released by Wikileaks show Catholic Church dismissed criticism of Chile’s military dictatorship as ‘communist propaganda.´ The Catholic Church originally labeled accusations of human rights abuses by the military junta in Chile as “leftist lies,” only revising their stance later as widespread governmental violence became undeniable. Among the hundreds of documents from the U.S. State Department released by Wikileaks on Monday was a cable sent to then-Secretary of State Henry Kissinger from his counterpart at the Vatican, Archbishop Giovanni Benelli.

A wide variety of experienced politicians, civil servants and courtiers who observed at first hand the Queen’s relationship with Margaret Thatcher agree: it was (long pause, pained expression) “difficult.” Here were two women of similar age but very dissimilar backgrounds; previously strangers, they were conjoined during the most tumultuous and confrontational years of postwar politics. Among the most radical of the Thatcherite thinkers were some whose contempt for the old, flabby institutions of a weary, oversocialized country reached even to the monarchy. They (naively) tended to see the United States as a model in politics and economics,

ONLY a handful of peace-time politicians can claim to have changed the world. Margaret Thatcher, who died this morning, was one. She transformed not just her own Conservative Party, but the whole of British politics. Her enthusiasm for privatisation launched a global revolution and her willingness to stand up to tyranny helped to bring an end to the Soviet Union. Winston Churchill won a war, but he never created an “ism”. The essence of Thatcherism was to oppose the status quo and bet on freedom—odd, since as a prim control freak, she was in some ways the embodiment of conservatism.

After saying the United States needs to “equip our citizens with the skills and training” to fill jobs in manufacturing, energy and infrastructure, Obama said, “And that has to start at the earliest possible age.”
