Politicians in general and democrats in particular are going to try to spin stories to their benefit. It is how they survive. They are a secondary threat to each of us. Politicians will eventually cave to the people's will or they will be eliminated in the next election cycle, provided the public is made aware of their transgressions. Now, more than ever, it should be quite clear that our principle problem, our primary opponent, is the media. It's good that the number of people who mistrust the media is increasing, but it is not nearly high enough. Each of us needs to make it our mission to spread the word. There is plenty of proof to back up the fact that the media is self-censoring, misleading, and outright lying to prop up Obama. If our current 'Pravda-by choice' media isn't challenged and defeated, we are gone. Politicians who seek to fundamentally change America cannot achieve their destructive goals if the public is on to them.

"Mr. President, what did you mean by your statement, "The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam".
I took the statement to mean that BHO is totally in favor of a global Caliphate. No question about it in my thinking.

To me, the real problem is that Romney does not see 0bama for what he really is. Neither does the Republican officialdom. And so, they are unprepared for all the dirty tricks that will be employed to show that 0bama has "won" the election.

I am truly astounded how anyone can continue to support O and then vote for him. He has destroyed our economy for at least two generations, destroyed the pinnacles of the American dream; housing, investment, retirement, family, religion and self-determination.

He has sided with all of our foreign enemies and abandoned our allies.

He has squandered our treasury with his spending and paybacks and lives off taxpayers as his own private gold card.

And for his legacy, he has set racial and religious divisions back well over a 100 of years.

And by saying, "but for him, things would be worse..." Really, how does know what would have occurred had McCain had won? I sure bet the ME would not be going insane if McCain were in office. O and Hill are largely responsible for the disaster in the ME - they own it.

My position on obozo is 4.5 years old - dumb Americans elected the person who hates America and has a whole baggage of anti-American ideas. Actually, there is a huge team of anti-Americans and he is a convenient front!
But for a longer period of time I am asking this question: why conservatives and repubics are not fighting for the mainstream media?
We can't change nyt, wapo and alphabets, but why not build new conservative mainstream media? America is hungry for it! Instead of specialty publications like National Review or Newsmax we need newspapers and tv channels every American would read and watch, with all the trimmings, like sports, business and food and wine section.

The sad thing is the moron libs think this election is about women's rights and birth control and all of the stupid things that mean nothing. These idiots will all vote in Nov and could bring this country down.

She was a vocal critic of Mubarak, taking part in demonstrations in Egypt against him, probably indicating she is affiliated with Muslim Brotherhood or some like organization.

Many of us Ldot posters are people of Faith. Many of us believe that Jesus Christ is the Truth, the Life and the Way. And, as such we can often see what is going on ‘behind the scenes’ --- in the heavenlies/spiritual realm, where the fight of Good vs. Evil is so much clearer.

That Obama would actually say, “The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Isla” is astounding. That his speech writers, his political mentors, and election handlers would approve of him saying this, is even more astounding.

Unless… of course… they have no idea of the spiritual ramifications behind the words.

I’m almost reminded of the scene from the first Indiana Jones movie, atop the mountain, with the Nazi’s trying to open the Ark of the Covenant. God is protecting the Ark, and the Nazi’s think it’s a toy/tool to be used at whim.

Guess who wins??? And, if you’ve never studied it, the Nazi’s were close allies with the Islam leaders in the Middle East. Perhaps others can recommend books.

a lot of negative doomsayers here... Yes, the media and its owners are evil. But there are more of us. And we CAN (and I believe WILL) prevail in the end. But we must all pray and ask God to help us so that good will triumph over evil. Prophecies are not written in stone. God gave mankind free will. We can change the course but we must be strong inbour faith and we must all do everything possible to do this peacefully first through winning the election. But even of that somehow doesn't work, we still have the truth, what is right, the military and the oathkeepers, if necessary. Let's hope it never goes that far. Keep praying. Be strong in your faith. Too many seem to have lost faith here. Time to renew it...otherwise, you might as well just give up and become a socialist slave and be happy about it. I won't submit. I would rather die. I will fight this to the death if need be.
