| Ann Romney said in an interview Thursday that her biggest concern if her husband was elected president would be "for his mental well-being." The aspiring first lady was asked in an interview with KTVN-Reno what her biggest concern for her husband was if he were to win the White House in November. "You know, I think my biggest concern, obviously, would just be for his mental well-being," Romney said. "I have all the confidence in the world in his ability, in his decisiveness and his leadership skills, in his understanding of the economy,

When are the pubbies going to learn that the press will use anything showing weakness against them? The reality is that the job makes old men of all of them, even the Won. Premature gray hair is not associated with easy jobs.

Tomorrow the diversion of the day from the Obama crew will be the demand that Mitt Romney submit to a mental health examination.
These Romney folks are continuously shooting themselves in the foot.

They are not going to make it. Somewhere along the line somebody is going to have to tell Ann Romney to zip it because she doesn't have an ounce of common sense. The debates start next week, but unless something happens it's over.

Knowing how the MSM works, they are even now trying to find ways to have this statement come back to bite Mitt in the hindquarters.
Why do fine people put themselves through this wringer? The Romneys are too classy to have to go through this outhouse of a campaign. But since they are of sterner stuff, they will and they've already shown more grace than either of the current residents can muster.

I think Ann Romney is gorgeous, and would the most beautiful first lady.
But she isn't the wisest. She reminds me of the early Laura Bush --i.e. she sometimes lacks discretion and circumspection. This can be very dangerous when under the spotlight of the "gotcha" media.

I wish that she would stop talking. She is not helping him. She is trying too hard, disclosing too much, and the media is playing her. They know she's a good woman, sincere, but an amateur.
Most who are new at this public game don't realize that everything they say will be reduced to soundbites, taken out of context.
I don't believe, however, that this will be some sort of fatal blow. It just didn't need to have been said. Or perhaps it could have been said differently.

(sarcasm) Don't know why I'm surprised that so many "gopers" seem eager to go along with them. Looks like ANY excuse is good enough to grouse and complain and in the end, let obama have another 4 years. Not in this lifetime. Mitt Romney will be the next President and whatever his wife says (IF that's what she said), doesn't change what is going on in this Country under the obama-reign-of-terror. It is obama who is the problem, NOT Mitt Romney! Good Grief!

Several snippets of the audio from the February strategy sessions were published Tuesday by Mother Jones magazine, along with a lengthy article. The recording, obtained from an unnamed source, included McConnell aides discussing ways to politically damage actress Ashley Judd, who at the time was talked about as a possible McConnell challenger.

One of the first political issues negotiators must tackle in crafting an immigration reform bill is among the most important: what to name it. It’s a decision that will bruise egos, create legacies and deeply affect subsequent messaging battles. “Every time the bill is mentioned in the press, you either have a brand that´s positive or a brand that doesn´t mean anything or even hurts you,” said Frank Sharry, the executive director of the pro-immigration reform group America’s Voice. The wrong name, he warned, could doom a good bill. “If there´s not a
