‘The media have become an
enemy of the American people’

PJ Media, by Bryan Preston

Original Article

Posted By:Dreadnought, 9/28/2012 8:06:59 PM

Pat Caddell addressed Accuracy in Media’s conference on Obama and the media this week. Caddell used the moment to expose the media for covering up a) an Obama adviser taking what looks like a payoff from the Iranians and b) the Obama administration’s Benghazi cover-up. He concludes that media bias has become so extreme that it now endangers the republic. CADDELL: “I think we’re at the most dangerous time in our political history in terms of the balance of power in the role that the media plays in whether or not we maintain a free democracy.

The media has the enemy of the American People for years. Beginning with Clinton they have become the enemy of the United States of America and what she stood for, to the point of TREASON.

The American news media is a product of academia. American universities are the true enemies of America. Workers in the news media are merely drones and clones created in our universities and launched on their mission of destruction. A nation foolish and reckless enough to deliver its children into the hands of its enemies to be indoctrinated has no one to blame but itself for the results.

Follow the tracks far enough and they always lead back to the universities - the lair of the beast. We are paying them to destroy us.

I went to San Jose State (Cal) in the 70's.

It was hell on earth for a conservative libertarian white male child.

The one over riding memory that I have from that experience is the message from the institution and it was: You are not welcome here. Your ideas are not allowed to be spoken here.

40 years ago these commies were laying the foundation for their takeover.

We must retake the centers of higher learning and make them truly open to free speech.

They have not been for a long time.

The media have squandered the freedom of the press enshrined in our beloved Constitution, having abdicated their responsibility to be truthful and objective with the American people. They have become an accessory to tyranny and treason and are trying to destroy us from within.

I completely respect Pat Caddell. Despite his hanging onto being a Democrat, he truly is a patriot and loves this country as it was founded. He also has integrity, which is the rarest of qualities in a Democrat. He is one of the very few who I know isn't trying to play a song and dance on me every time I turn him on the TV.

Caddell is correct.

Agree, #7. That's when the radicals like Bill Ayers, The Weathermen, SDS, and the other groups invaded college campuses and made them a miserable place for someone actually trying to get an education. Education was never their goal--their goal was to overthrow our American system. Now Obama is in the White House, working to do just that, courtesy of Bill Ayers.

The headline is a truism. A corollary to the headline is that the [corrupt news] media is a a friend of Obama, perhaps his BFF. It's become an enabler, a entirely sympathetic PR and propaganda arm of the administration. And much of it at his beck and call. Note that ''Romney statement'' smokescreen they put up immediately in the wake of Benghazi 9/11/2012. Now that's beck and call.

The Romney Administration needs to pull the press credentials from ABC, CBS, NBC and CNN for starters and bar them from the WH during his tenure. There are numerous example to be had showing their obvious bias. Let them scream 1st Amendment rights. Nobody is stopping them from lying, only lying about the WH.

Caddell is an old school Dem. And that school is out. Long ago. Basically, around 2002/3, the Far Left wing of the party completed their takeover, their coup over the Dem party. This effort was begin in the Vietnam era and now brought to fruition. Obama was in several important respects the right man at the right time for this New Dem Party, or New Party. Obama was the effect, not the cause of this historic political power struggle in the Dem party. Any doubts about all this?... Check with Joe Lieberman, their 2000 VP candidate, in those final dying days of the Democratic Party. Bush's election was the final straw for the radicals now running the Dem Party and this existentially endangered nation.
A coup.

President Obama kicked off the week in Connecticut with a rallying cry for new gun control measures hand-in-hand with Sandy Hook parents. This afternoon, Obama sat down in the Oval Office with Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel — who, with a military, civilian, and contractor work force on edge about their jobs, is tasked with unveiling what could be a punishing presidential budget for the Pentagon tomorrow. Over at the Senate tonight, Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) filed cloture on the motion to proceed to the gun-control package, which means

President Obama will unveil his 2014 spending plan Wednesday, 65 days late and several trillion dollars short, by Republican standards, of effectively reining in the national debt. But the more relevant fact about the White House budget may be the yawning political void into which it is about to fall on Capitol Hill. Administration officials say their plan offers a path to compromise, a centrist course that avoids the extreme spending cuts of the House Republican budget as well as the $1 trillion tax hike endorsed last month by Senate Democrats. The president’s proposal contains the same set of policies

It seems very odd that President Obama has made gun control the signature issue of his second term, so far. He can’t possibly achieve any significant legislation; a few tweaks to the background check system, maybe, but there is no chance of getting any meaningful gun control through the House. The House Democrats aren’t even trying. So it also seems strange that all eyes are on the Senate, where Harry Reid will unveil some sort of gun legislation–no one knows what, exactly–on Thursday. The party’s left-wing base is lining up behind the bill, sight unseen.

In a poll conducted by PoliceOne, a majority of law enforcement personnel said universal background checks, "assault weapons" bans, and "high capacity" magazine bans do not make police safer and will not lower violent crime. Armed citizens, on the other hand, do make a positive difference. In the poll of 15,000 law enforcement professionals, 71% of respondents said an "assault weapons" ban would have zero impact on violent crime. Of those surveyed, 95.7% said the same of a "high capacity" magazine ban, and 79.7% said the same in response to a question on universal background checks.

Margaret Thatcher captured Americans’ hearts and minds in a way few other foreign leaders have done, and much of that was because of the symbiotic relationship she had with President Reagan — a relationship that in many ways mirrored the storied “special” friendship between the two countries. Mrs. Thatcher, who died Monday at age 87, was a tough-talking maverick who was bullish on the promise of the U.S. as a force on the international stage. Those traits appealed to Americans weary of the 1970s malaise and eager to hear reasons to believe in themselves. “She had the perfect balance between
