| AUSTRALIA will push harder for a tough new international gun control regime if it wins a seat at the UN Security Council, in a move to crack down on civil unrest, gang violence and criminal activity. Foreign Minister Bob Carr told The Weekend Australian that under a draft treaty being pushed by Australia, all states would be held responsible for what happened to their weapons after they left their shores. The Arms Trade Treaty failed to win the necessary backing last month amid opposition from the US and Russia.

Why in God's name should any country worry about what another country does with its business, like having guns? I don't worry about guns in Mexico, Pakistan, Iran, Russia, and Tierra del Fuego. How they shoot each other up in their own borders don't bother me the least.

Notice the armed conflicts cited in article are in muslim countries. Radical islam follows no rules. Therefore, this UN drivel can only succeed in disarming targets of jihad.

If law abiding citizens cannot be trusted to carry fire arms then they certainly can not be trusted to elect their leaders.
The real war out there is about which totalitarian, dictatorial group of thugs will control the world in 30-40 years.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church.
