Hillary Says Goodbye
to 2016 Chances

Breitbart's Big Government, by Joel B. Pollak

It remains unclear whether President Barack Obama's lies about attacks on U.S. embassies will cost him re-election. One thing is certain, however: whatever ambitions Secretary of State Hillary Clinton once held to run for president in 2016 have been damaged beyond repair. Obama was literally asleep when the proverbial "3 a.m. call" came, but Clinton--who bears responsibility for embassy security--was asleep on the job for weeks. Clinton's response--"How could this happen in a country we helped liberate, in a city we helped save from destruction?--bears the same naïveté for which she once mocked her Democratic rival in

Comments:
I don't believe that for a second. Leftists don't care if their leaders are corrupt and incompetent. With them it's a badge of honor. The American people care but not the radical leftists who now own the Democrat party.

How could this happen? Because they hate us and want to kill us. It doesn't matter how much we give them.

She never had a shot at 2016 anyway, nor does it seem she wants it anymore. She has looked washed-up and beaten ever since accepting the job offer from the man she claimed (correctly) was most unqualified to be her boss. She'll end up in some NGO of half-alcoholic, resentful, man-hating "progressive" feminists.

She is a harder core Alinskyite than Obit ever dreamed of being, if that is possible.

We can destroy her if she tries this stunt.

She's clearly incompetent. She clearly never had a resume which showed her to be competent, especially not now that she has been given the portfolio and failed.

But, with endless PR of the right kind, the MSM can rehabilitate her.

After all, the MSM just deals with writing things, not with actual human action on the world stage. To them, it's just a story.

Cut her some slack. She's been partying, traveling, eating, photo-oping and drinking on our dime for the past four years. She knows the electorate will have forgotten her debacle as Sec. of State by this time next year. She is stepping down, "going dark" for a few years and will try to get the fire in her belly back for 2016. I don't think she will do it, but this is the plan.

Hillary has her cultists in the Democratic Party, just like Obama does. I say she's still at least even money to get the nomination in 2016, regardless of who wins this year. It's obviously a more difficult question as to whether she could win a general election. Too much time between now and then to say for sure.

Hillary looks weary and defeated because she is. Life has defeated her - the old dog chasing the cars finally caught one & she's found out that in the end, she doesn't know what to do with it. Her whole life has been one long crusade to show the world what ONE plucky, little woman could do to change it, if given the chance! Well, she's been given the chance - she is SOS of the U.S. & she still can't change the world or even make her own husband respect her. She is tasting the dregs and she sees the very empty bottom of the cup.

There has not been a peep about Hillary being asleep at the wheel, except in conservative publications. Most of the idiots who listen to and watch the mainstream news still think it's all about the film. Pat 'em on the head and tell them lies, and they'll eat them up. There are more of them than of conservative thinkers, I'm afraid.

Hillary played a major role in the murders of some very good men by failing to assign sufficient security to this very dangerous post. She then happily joined Obama's conspiracy to lie and blame the attack on a film rather than a 9/11 attack by terrorists.

This is not going to go away in 2016.

The IRS will shut down entirely for five days this year in order to try to meet its slimmed-down budget under the sequesters, a labor union that represents Treasury Department employees said on Friday. The IRS will close its doors on May 24, June 14, July 5, July 22 and Aug. 30, and employees are being told there could be two other days as well. “On those days all public operations of the IRS will be shut down, leaving taxpayers without access to information and assistance from frontline workers,” the National Treasury Employees Union said.

Transportation Security Administration Administrator John Pistole said at a Christian Science Monitor breakfast in 2010 that his agency’s intrusive pat downs of U.S. air passengers was inspired by two Chechen women who were able to blow up two Russian airliners because "they had explosives in their bras and around their waists." In fact, a November 2005 report by the Office of the Inspector General of the Department of Homeland Security specifically stipulated that TSA’s pat down policy had been initiated in response to the in-air bombing of two Russian airliners by Chechen women who smuggled explosives in their clothing.

“Behind Closed Doors” was a Grammy-winning country hit for Charlie Rich in the 1970s, describing a good time where no one could see, but it’s a terrible way to write laws, particularly laws as complex and controversial as immigration reform. The nation got its first glimpse Wednesday at the comprehensive immigration-reform bill cobbled together behind closed doors by the Senate’s bipartisan “Gang of Eight.” What’s worse is, SenateJudiciary Committee Chairman Patrick J. Yesterday, the most modest of gun control proposals died in the Senate. It would have expanded background checks to people purchasing weapons at gun shows and online sales, enjoyed 90 per cent support among the public and came on the back of the tragedy at Newtown. Yet, despite all that it had going for it, the Toomey-Manchin bill raised just 54 votes--six short of the number necessary for passage. “This is a pretty shameful day for Washington,” said Obama afterwards. It wasn’t exactly a red letter day for him, either. Why did the no-brainer bill fail? Four reasons:

While the media are bearing the brunt of public skepticism over the handling of the Boston bombing, the behavior of government is also eroding public trust. Yesterday´s promised but cancelled news briefing is just one symptom. Andrew McCarthy of PJM notes that "Misinformation rather than enlightenment has been the order of the day in the investigation of Monday´s terrorist bombing of the Boston Marathon," and that part of it is the natural outgrowth of the desire of investigators to keep the details of their investigations secret, so as not to alert suspects.
