| A prominent defender of Elizabeth Warren's legal work while on the Harvard faculty has been presented with new facts and conceded that she is in heap big trouble. I wrote about Mark Thompson's defense of her right to file briefs in federal court three days ago. But the remarkable William Jacobson of Legal Insurrection has now discovered that Warren represented a Massachusetts client in Massachusetts, and Thompson has conceded the case. The allegations are serious and are proving out. It's becoming hard to see how the liberal media and Massachusetts Democrats can keep this from dragging her to a stop before the election.
Lawyers have been offering various excuses and exonerating scenarios, but in the end I think they will choose to insulate their professional prerogatives, and Ms Warren will be left to face her legal troubles on her own.
Yelping protesters outside of her campaig appearances will be the least of her problems.

1. Harvard Law School
2. ALL have lost their Law Licenses or been forced to give them up before INVESTIGATIONs could be initiated.
Warren gave up her law License in New Jersey on Sept. 11, 2012 - coincidence???

This, if she is able to slide, creates a lousy precedent.
Here is a hypothetical case. Ralph Doe practices law in Georgia, let's say. And he is forced to surrender his license to practice law because of fraudulent filings.
He then gets a teaching job at a law school in Massachusetts.
Under the thinking of the defenders of Warren, Ralph Doe could practice law in Massachusetts., because he was a law professor!

Professor Jacobson is to be commended. After the tragic death of Andrew Breitbart he wrote he was retooling his efforts. Since then not only has his site Legal Insurrection been doing original reporting but he has opened a sister site, College Insurrection. The above is just some of the good work he and his correspondents have been doing.

Warren is a criminal. That's perfectly understandable seeing as how close she is to 0bama. About the only thing protecting her right now is that the statute of limitations might be up on her activities because somewhere someone who was essentially robbed by her charging for an illegal service is NOT a Democrat and wants compensation.

God bless Prof Jacobsson. He is one in a million. Shame that there are not more men in his position with his integrity. But, at least he got one legal scholar who was promoting Warren to rethink his support and admit Jacobsson was correct in his findings against Warren. Hope to see him on the Supreme Court one day soon.

During the highly publicized exchange between Bill O´Reilly and Laura Ingraham on gay marriage, O´Reilly made this statement: "There are Bible thumpers, and all they do is say, ´I object to gay marriage because God objects to it.´ You don´t win a policy debate in America with that." Really? Before central control out of Washington was imposed in 2003, policy arguments for criminalizing homosexual acts were won explicitly "with that." It´s one thing for President Obama to be cocky and overstate his prowess at governing. People are used to politicians grabbing credit, and besides, you can always rationalize when it comes to explaining why things didn´t quite work out as you claimed they would - "the sequester ate my recovery" being the latest successful-enough example. But sports is something else. The basketball either goes through the hoop or it doesn´t. That´s why President Obama´s history of braggadocio regarding his prowess at hoops is having a potent effect on his overall public image, especially with those who are favorably inclined to him.

During his two day flurry of fundraising in Northern California, the President of the United States took it upon himself (and allow to be released to the public - not all of his fundraising comments make it to the masses) to praise the attractiveness of Kamala Harris, California Attorney General (snip) The remark, predictably, generated a little of what Allahpundit called a ´Blue on blue food fight." I suspect that was the intention. The president´s image as a manly man took a beating when he missed 20 of 22 basketball shots, all recorded on video.

The CEO of Starbucks basically told a shareholder that if the shareholder believes in traditional marriage he should dump his Starbucks stock. Historically the job of the CEO has been to make money and increase shareholder value. It would seem telling people who don´t share the CEO´s personal beliefs, whether it´s gay marriage or abortion, to dump the companies stock is not a pro-shareholder action. Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church.
