#9 you're only partially riht. Aside from "Cannon Fodder" they can also be used for a "Photo Op". The fact that these mortar units only cost $ 300k a each, but Zippy can literally spend billions of Solendra, Lesbian, Gay and Transexual programs and use Air Force One as his personal jet makes this whole thing criminal. Consider that it costs almost $ 300k every time Zippy uses AF1 to go to a campaign event or to fly off on yet another vacation. Every time Zippy has fun on the tax payer's dime, the money could have purchased one of these units that the troops need so desperately. My son is in Afghanistan and I talk to him on Skype once a week. He says that the Islamists set up their own mortars just outside the perimeter and regularly shell the base. A fact that is getting absolutely no coverage in the media. Unfortunately, we don't have the ability to respond with our own mortars. I agree with poster #5. Zippy is acting like he is an enemy agent instead of the Commander in Chief.
